SAMSUNG i900 OMNIA

I badly need this phone!

Its quite big though.. Actually its the same size as the Iphone which I hate since its so huge.. Actually before the Iphone hits the stores, I really wanted it but when I saw it and got a chance of manipulating it.. I was dissapointed really!

But I need to check this one first before I decide maybe it's lighter. I dont like bulky gadgets coz its quite heavy on the pocket.. second I dont want to look like a shoplifter with a huge bulk on my jeans.

By the way, I will not buy Sony Ericsson phone again.. ever! Probably Im used to nokia's easy navigation features thats why I was completely disappointed with my Sony Ericsson P1i so I gave it away. Also, Im getting tired of the old Nokia phones, their phones are getting boring. So I have to check Samsung.. hopefully it will fit on my budget hehe!

Since I lost my Nokia phone sevaral weeks ago, I only got my old nokia 5300 which I think needed to be replace as soon as possible.. Really!

ESPRIT CHRONO WATCH

Last friday I went to Kuwait city to send money to my family and I was soo shocked.. too much people! its like EDSA revolution once again.. (yun nga lang di mga filipino kundi mga Pana)
When I saw that the bank is jampacked.. I went berserk.. and run amok amidst the crowd...
now that's a joke hehe!

Going back to the story.. So when I saw that the bank is too much crowded.. I went out for fresh air! Im not a very patient person so I walked out. Im a bout to ride a taxi when I saw Muthana Complex.. Probably there's some bank there, I thought!

I roam the complex first and i saw ON TIME.. as if I was hypnotize.. I went to the store and check the damned watches. Checked D&G, DKNY etc.

and I found this one..

It's really nice, classy, sophisticated chronograph watch. Above is all silver which looks boring, but mine is much beautiful since the numbers and the dials are light bronze color which strikingly matches with the silver matte finish. I already got D&G which is very funky, flashy and very unique watch that's why I choose this one since I can use on more formal occasions. Simply love it.. now I'm using it everyday..

Actually I hate it and I love it at the same time.. I hates it bcoz I bought something that I really dont need at all.. and Im once again defeated by my compulsions.

I love it because... It really feels good! Im euphoric!

My ex manager said that I am crazy and shop like a Kuwaiti haha! Bad for me I'm not rich as them.

But I cant help it really.. I'm an addict! But the thing is.. there's no cure for it and it's really infectious.. so stay away!

Late lunch at IKEA

Julius called me up yesterday and its his off, same with mine... We agreed to meet and probably waste some money.. and I bet you, we did!

We met at Ikea at THE AVENUES. First, we had our lunch at the IKEA resto. By the way they never dissapoint me ever. After our late lunch, we went to Carrefour and I bought some toys for my nephews ad cousins, after that we headed directly to the Mishref International Fair. Actually I already been there a day ago with janel, but julius wants to buy some nice perfumes so I said yes.

I bought two nice perfume, actually I did bought them not for the perfume itself but for the freebies.. a nice bag.

Julius ordered a salad and rice with almost a dozen of beef balls.. hehe! By the way he hates California Maki.. or probably any raw fish on that matter.

Saw California maki at the counter and I grabbed it without looking at th price and that's the reason I payed almost 5kd just for lunch, by the way no problem coz I really missed it. Back at home I always dined at Tokyo Tokyo and my fave jap resto.. YOSHINOYA! God knows how I miss their Beef bowl.. Yummy!

A Tuna dish or something.. I am soo hungry that as soon as I taken my seat.. I grab the spoon and take a mouthful... its really nice dish by the way. As I savor the pricey lunch I scratch my head and finally remembered .. OH MY it's all ruined, how can I forget to take photos first..

SONY VAIO- CR SERIES

My current laptop is doing great.. But since I laid my eyes on the latest Sony VAIO laptop last nite.. I just cant wait laying my hands on it! It's really cool and hot at the same time!

It comes in 5 eye catching colors.. but the RED is my favorite.. Of course! Ill go to Marina Mall later to check if they already have it at Virgin or if that's not enough.. I'll raise hell to all of Kuwait just to find one.. haha! exage!

I bought D&G watch last month the same model below, It look really Nice, Hip and Cool. It comes in 4 colors; orange, blue, dark green and white. This is my 1st D&G watch and I'm planing to buy some more.. I love D&G watches

WINTER MUST HAVE

Back in the Phil. I did'nt know that there's a winter season in the gulf region. Everytime I heard about the middle east.. for me it only means.. dry and hot desert nothing more, nothing less.

Last year when my sister got a job in dubai, she told us that there's a winter just sans the snow.. I just laugh at her and ask if she's joking. Now that Im also here in kuwait, I can say that its true.It can really get cold during the evening and early morning. From november up to december its quite bearable, but they say that january and february sometimes hit zero or below... just thinking about it makes me.... errrr... freeezzzzze!

My good friend mitch from Canada upon learning that I got a job in kuwait, gave me three jackets. I also bought one from Bench one week before I leave. Here is the best part.. SHOPPING.. SHOPPING and More SHOPPING!!!!

Yes shopping! As early as june when we arrived here, many pips told us to buy winter clothings even stil its summer coz its still cheaper. All in all I have 7 formal jackets and 3 hoodies, Im planning to buy 2 more hoodies because it looks really nice and cool. Thank God! we dont have uniforms, actually we can go to work as casual as possible.. tees and jeans. But when I was transfered at the Flagship branch.. things change. I need to look more formal that's why i have more formal jackets than hoodies.

Next time i go to the mall, i'll buy bonnets.

Something Thai

After buying the Cowboy's hat, I continue my stroll at the complex and I noticed an asian themed store. A Thai store. I went inside, and busy my hands taking photos from my Nokia camphone. A filipina saleslady came and greeted me. She was nice and accomodating and we talked while I took snaps.

Im always fascinated by Buddhism and I had this weird thought before of converting to this fascinating religion. Buddhist are a religion of peace and enlightenment and their religion really facinates me. I promised Ate Emy (saleslady) that I'll be back soon,I think we chatted for almost an hour and I enjoyed talking with her.

I'll buy this Buddha bust together with a Thai ceramic clown.

A night's stroll

I finished work around 8pm, Joyce and me, stayed a littled bit, we just chat around until our manager was finished his paperworks, then we leave. She was picked up by her bf so I'm alone on the way home.I still dont want to go home so I decided to check the nearby complex.

We went there before but I did'nt able to check every store. I saw an interesting store with all the hats and american Indian merchandize.

I went round and round the shop, talking to the indian salesman while scrutinizing items that I fancied. They got really nice selections and actually I'm planning to go back there to buy something.

I bought this gorgeous cowboy hat for 3.5kd that would be around 600 pesos. Actually I have no plans on buying it.. but then it looks good on me so what the heck.

When I was about the age 6 or 7, that would be in the mid eighties. We already have Tv then, but it was just B&W. I remember watching lots of western movies with all the cowboys, horses, ropes, dust and indians. Im really amazed but somehow afraid by the Indians, they wore weird clothing and horifying mark on their faces but now still I'm still amazed with them.

When I'm scrutinizing each item, I fancied this one. It's a mask by a tribal chieftain probably from SIOUX tribe. It's on sale and the price is 25kd, the indian salesman (what a coincidence?!)
that if I get it now he will give it to me for just 22, by the way the original price is 35kd. It's a nice buy but I told him I'll just come back.

There's also some items from africa. I fancied his 2 items. One is a bust of an african prince and the other one is a wooden vase with a female figure.

I'll go back there to take some more pics.
