With all the Christmas stuff out and Christmas music playing and TV shows discussing Christmas meals instead of Thanksgiving meals it is hard to remember that tomorrow is just that, a day to give thanks to God. So here are a few things I am thankful for although I could go on forever.
I am thankful for my husband who is such a good father, I am thankful for my parents who are so loving and love my kids so much that they would spend hours (20+) building a swing set for them, for my in laws who love spending time with my kids and babysit so much for us, for my mom who is my best friend, for my children that I tried so very hard for and take for granted way too often, for my sister in law Courtney who keeps me sane and is the best listener I know, for my church and the fact that I am allowed to go their and worship whenever I want, for my playgroup girls who are always there when I need to get out of the house and talk to someone who understands, for all of my family because they are so great. There is so much more. Thank you God for all that you have given me.
One more thing I am thankful for is that today we went to Connor's hearing appointment and we were told that he MAY be able to hear out of his right ear. They will not be able to tell us until they test for sure with an ABR which he has to be sedated for but the Dr. said he saw an eardrum and that it looks like the canal is just too small for the normal hearing test and that could be why he is failing. This ABR will show if his brain is responding to the sound since he can't tell us he is hearing us. Praise God for the chance for him to hear in both ears.

I have a blog??
I haven't even had a chance to update this thing. Ever since I got my iPhone I do all my Internet stuff on their but it is way too hard to blog from it so it has gotten left alone. Also why it is hard for me to comment on all the blogs I love but I am reading I promise!
So I have been tagged by Lindsey to tell all about Nathaniel so here it is!!
1. Where did you meet?
Nathaniel and I met at my best friends wedding! Nathaniel was the best man and I was the maid of honor. We didn't start dating till 4 months later though.
2. How long did you date?
We started dating in April of 2002, got engaged in December of 2002, and got married in July of 2003.
3. How long have you been married?
We have been married for 5 years and 4 months.
4. What does he say that surprises you?
Act calm in the state of emergency. I really can't picture this and would love to go to work one day and go on a call because he is not all that calm when things happen to our kids or me.
5. What is your favorite feature of his?
His eye lashes!! I love them and thankfully he passed them on to both of our children!
6. What is your favorite quality of his?
He is the hardest worker and best dad I know!
7. Does he have a nickname for you?
We have all sorts of nicknames but I think anyone who knows us knows we call each other babe. We get made fun of for it all the time. Our neighbors call us the babes and Courtney and Sam call us babe1 and babe2!!
8. What is his favorite color?
Had to ask but he says Green
9. What is his favorite sport?
Nathaniel isn't big on sports watching but I think he likes any kind of sport but baseball. He says it is too boring to watch.
10. What is his favorite food?
Anything!! I promise he will eat just about anything and think it is great! Good for me since I am no gourmet chef!
11. When and where did we first kiss?
At my apartment on Bosque about the fifth time we hung out. I didn't think he was going to ever kiss me so I just kissed him.
12. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple?
Sad but we love to get into certain TV shows and have a lot of fun discussing the craziness that goes on.
13. Do you have any children?
Yes, Kaylie and Connor.
14. Does he have a hidden talent?
He is an excellent shooter. He shoots skeet and trap and was crazy good when he was in high school and even went to the Olympic training center and these days he never practices and can still enter a shoot and either win or come in 2nd.
15. How old is he?
I robbed the cradle. He is 26!
16. Who said "I love you first"?
Well I said I love spending time with you and he said I love you too so it was pretty much a miscommunication. Very romantic right? But we said it from then on.
17. What is his favorite type of music?
I think he likes to hide it but every time I get in his truck he has on classical music.
18. What do you most admire about him?
He is such a great dad and such a caring and compassionate person. He gets complimented at work all the time for being compassionate where he is a paramedic and takes care of really scared people who are seriously ill or injured. I think that is pretty great!
19. Do you think he will read this?
Not unless I ask him too. As I am typing and explaining what I am doing he is asking me why I even blog and why anyone would be interested in our family and what we are doing!!! And then said that any crazy person could be reading our blog and learn all about us. If you are crazy, please stop reading.
20. Where did you go on your first date?
We went as a joke to Courtney and Sam's house to freak them out like we were dating and I think the surprise ended up being on us because we did end up dating.
I tag Courtney, Lexi, Dana, Rachel N. and Rachel M. (Maybe this will make you blog)
