Thanks A Lot Daycare!

The first week PJ was at daycare almost every kid had snot dripping from their nose. The next week she gets sick, runs a fever, and turns out she had an ear infection. We didn't sleep because she didn't sleep.  She's good now...
Today I get a call saying she has been bitten by a kid in the class more than once in the same spot. Sure enough there is a nice circle of teeth marks on her arm and more on her elbow. The teachers were busy when I got there so I didn't pry, but I am almost thinking PJ could have hit this kid.  She can be a bully if she doesn't like the other kid.

BAD MORNING

SHORTLY AFTER WAKING UP, PJ AND I WERE ON THE COUCH. I WAS RELAXING AND SHE WAS CLIMBING ALL OVER. SHE HIT HER MOUTH ON  THE BACK OF THE COUCH, AND SOMEHOW GOT HER GUMS STUCK BETWEEN HER FRONT TEETH. THIS IS THE CLEAN VERSION. EARLIER SHE HAD A NICE RING OF BLOOD AROUND HER MOUTH. OUR BABY'S FIRST BIG INJURY.

Prisoner Escapes to Playground

She's made it to the final gate that will let her explore the wild wonders of the park behind our house.  We always have to make sure this gate is locked because she will happily exit it without looking back.
The first stop with her newly found freedom is the bank, aka the taco stand.  I usually ask for a taco, she grabs a leaf somewhere behind her, and then I give her a $1 leaf.  We also eat lots of milk shakes and hotdogs at this stand.
This slippery slope to freedom occassionally drops into a puddle of muddy water or sand.  She loves slides and tunnels.
This is a new attempt, and that's about as far as she can make it right now. I say it's just one less thing to worry about her climbing on.

She is just cute! We love her.
