Sherlyn announces plans to tie the knot in two months

Sherlyn (27) has announced her plans to marry her politician fiancée Gerardo
Islas Maldonado (29), who is the president of the Nueva Alianza party (PANAL),
in two months’ time, after several months of dating. The wedding will
reportedly take place in Puebla. The couple reportedly met for the first time
four years ago at a charity event, but only started officially dating in the
end of 2012.
After finishing the filming
for ‘Amores Verdaderos’, Sherlyn has much more free time to plan her wedding,
which will become the biggest day in her life. During the filming for her
wedding scene with Sebastián Rulli in the telenovela, she stated: “I got married about
16 times in fiction, so every time it’s different and each time there’s a more
handsome husband. I hope that the last one will manage to surpass Rulli.”
Meanwhile, the young
actress also confirmed her participation in the fourth season of "Mira Quién Baila",
the Univisión version of “DWTS”.
