SHOUT :

" Anyone out there wana print photos, can let me know. My company offers a cheap deal for staff. Got loads of wonderful borders to choose from, great for scrapbooking. Quality better than the kisok you see outside :P "

Bday Celebration @ Home

It was really an impromptu decision to hold a small party at home. My dad blessed us with the buffet and drinks, all we had to get was the CAKE.

Yes, the cake looks strange. Joshua, Jayden, Marcus were all involved in designing the position of the candles and "Happy Bday" sign. ( simply adorable!! the boys )

This is what Joshua had to say when he opened Aunt Patricia's gifts " WOW got 2 presents inside!!" ( Pat, thank you for the book and puzzles )

" So fluffy...." ( A cuddly duck saving bank, plays music each time you drop a coin )

" WOW! It is Thomas the train! " ( Meiling, thank you very much. Joshua call this the Jayden's present. haa..)

The 1st present that got ripped open, he can't wait, especially anything that has 4 wheels.

Thank you love ones and friends for being there for us, for being available on this special day :X

Bday Celebration @ School

Decided to do a simple celebration in school. Joshua actually wanted to invite his classmates over, togather with Jayden and Reagan ( eversince the Bintam trip, they are always on his mind..haaa)

Presenting................THE CAKE! Yes, loves of all boys ; Thomas the train.

This is a very 'mian qiang' smile, haaa..we were laughing over it with the teachers.

The daddy and mummy :) ( Recalling the last time, my mum got a cake for me in school too)

All the cute little ones, singing " Happy Birthday" , they didn't even need us to start it off.

Enjoying the cake during snack time. :)~~~

Technology

OK...the picture says it all. We exposed Joshua to computer, with the intention of learning phonics online.

Then....it was Thomas trains webby, Bob builder webby, etc. Not too healthy for his eyes.

But, I am totally amazed, he can easily surf the net on his own, click the sites he want to go. He even learn how to 'yahoo' for THOMAS. I guess on the flip side, he is learning alphabets :P

Seeing it, Getting it

Pastor preached about visualising things, to happen, other than praying.

Joshua been in school close to 4month, yet each morning was such a trial waking him and getting him ready for school. He will not want to wake up, not want to take his school bus.

So, on Sun night, I prayed and visualise him, all happy to go to school.

Mon...he was a little grouchy, but still Ok to go school.

Today....he woke up smiley. Changed by helper, and I dropped him to school. Typically he would want me to follow him, and cry pleading me not to leave. But this round, he simply took his own bag, and walked right to class.

Thank God! This is defintely a good start :)

1) New Thomas water bottle
2) Phonics book
3) New pair of socks
4) T shirts
5) Story book

These are basic needs, toys are just as welcome :P

Henderson Waves is BEAUTIFUL! Told Deary, I wana take family picture there. Or maybe 2nd round of wedding pictures. Haa...

SUNDAY
=======

Joshua woke up, kept pestering us to go to the beach. So we decided to bring him to Sentosa. First time on cable car, and he was all excited. Saying " Wow! " at the view.
I was totally nervous with the sea below me *shiver*

A lover of map, he would insist on reading the map, knowing the direction. Well, guess it is a good thing. Man, should always lead, right?

Digging sand @ 2pm. Totally crazy timing. He got burnt shoulders, but he didn't complain :P

Then it was spider web climing, for age 5yr above. But this barely 3yrs is doing it better than the older kids.

Make deary posed a beach shot. Very R hor.

*Kinderart*

One of the cirriculum, I plan to let Joshua try out is art and craft.

I always love painting when young, it gives a serenity, my own personal space. Making it feels a little out of this world. And I believe it helps to build Joshua's patience, his quiet side. Decided to go for a trial @ Kinderart, I was worried he won't sit still and end up disturbing other kids.

To my surprise....

He sat there intently listening to the teacher tells the story.

Gona make our own cardboard bear!

Happily dabbing away. Defintely worth my $10 trial. Haa..In fact he asked to come back. I am considering the additional $450 on top of what I pay now for school. Hmm.....

We are BACK!

Haa..my sister asked me to keep posting here and not move, since lots of Joshua is archived. Sorry, for the merry-go-round. :P

Anyway, more miscellanous pictures.

Mozart Exhibition @ National Museum! Such a beautiful place, I love museum, always ignite the creative blood in me.

Here's Joshua trying to write with a quil.

You get to be a horse too, riding a carridge. Giddy-up!!

Wear what Mozart wore, and practise medicine the ancient way. *chim*

Such a fun place to be for the children, you should visit the museum for their kids' program!

An Adult-like conversation

It is so interesting, Joshua can make comments like an adult.

We were out marketing on Sun, and we had a conversation...

J: " Why the men fixing the house? "
M: " Someone is moving in, renovating the house. "

Joshua was silence for a few seconds...

J: " Oh...interesting."

!!Now it was my turn to be silent, not sure what he meant by that.

In the afternoon, we were watching badmindton Olympics.

J:" The SGP one like San Shu" ( He meant Ronald Susilo!!! )
M: " Really?! "

Then came the next match, Indonesia vs Thai

J:" Why the man look like this? "
M: " Huh? What do you mean?"
J:" Why so ugly?"
M: " Ha..." The Indonesian player had a hard square jawline....

MISCELLANOUS PICTURES

Joshua in his school uniform. Great loving teachers and principal.

Every morn, he takes the school bus to school. But he is no early bird, so he tends to miss it at times. But we decided to go easy, as the principal, don't mind them mising out morn gathering :)

I was comteplating alot, making a 2yr+ go to school. However, toys at home was no longer able to satisfy his curosity. It was harder to keep him patience and discipline. I decided, it is time for him to mingle, learn social skills, indepence from daddy and mummy.
