Amazing that people are still checking this. It's one of my regrets as I really do love doing it but can't seem to find the time. Blame it on Facebook!
Little update---
1) Sean finished school and got a job at Genie. He loves it! I like that he has every weekend and some good holiday time off. Never had that before!
2) I am finally feeling healthy! I am still not quite there but 95% is still an A. Loving it!
3) We are currently a family of 7. Sean-42, Kim-35, Jase-10, Jayda-8, Brandon-5, Dante-3,
and lastly Maddux-3 months. Loving it! Now that the initial shock is over I'm getting into the swing of things! By the looks of it we will never be a family of 4 again.
Tons more to update but those are the big uns. Bedtime......

MAN, it's been a long time!! And this is where it started.
They've changed the blogger site and everything. I shoulda figured they would it's been thaaaat long. So since I posted last the only thing that we have been working on in this house is health. (If you don't want to know about it then don't bother reading this post because it will bore you terribly) This has definitely been the "He wouldn't give me anything I can't handle" year. But.....I'm finally getting better. (I knocked on wood) I am getting stronger everyday and have even tried a couple foods in the last week that I haven't had for at least 6 months. Here's the run down of what happened prior and "when I got sick." I will post on the more recent stuff in coming posts because I'm already getting anxious about writing this.
Hospital Story. I had a couple nights of bad night sweats (like the mattress was wet bad) but was putting it out of my mind because I was feeling ok during the day. By the third day at home I was having a hard time staying hydrated and very tired but not feeling sick still. I decided I better go in before the weekend because of course I googled severe night sweats and scared myself. :) I went and saw my doc and he decided to run blood tests. They came back crazy. My white blood cells, my red blood cells and my platelets were all low as well as my potassium, magnesium, iron and calcium. They also saw other abnormalities and a crazy bacteria. He did the blood tests again to double check and a third time as well because they were so outta whack he couldn't believe it. They did some things the second time around that made me think they were preparing for what was to come like putting in an IV port and stuff. After the last test my Dr. came in and told me they were sending me to Wenatchee, that he hadn't ever seen numbers like that except for chemo patients. So after Sean and his Dad gave me a blessing we were off. We were checked into the Oncology department and the number of tests on me were unbelievable. They were checking my blood every 2 HOURS. My WBC got so low (less than .25 with normal somewhere between 4.5 and 10) that they wouldn't even let me eat fruits and veggies or anything that could have e-coli or another bug because I wouldn't have been able to fight it off. No visitors, signs on the door, all things to freak you out. They kept checking for cancer cells but weren't finding any so by the next day they weren't thinking it was leukemia anymore. The same with the bacterial infection after the initial blood draw they came back normal so it must have been a contaminated draw. But they did find my liver and kidneys weren't functioning properly. After the 3rd hospital day my blood counts plateaued and by the 4th they starting going back up. Which was good because the 3rd day my vein blew out from the 3 different IV antibiotics they had me on. I ended up losing a main vein in my right arm from my shoulder down. The 6th day they told me it was ok if I left or I could stay because my numbers were still well below normal. I decided to go but they wanted to see my everyday over the next 3 days to check my numbers as well as weekly until I was up to the level they wanted. They told me no leaving the house or having any visitors either. The day I was released they decided it was a virus that attacked my bone marrow and my liver and weakened my kidneys. I was still nervous, sick and tired but excited to go home.
And that is where my story started......

Cracks me up
I am way to tired to devote an hour to uploading and writing a post
soooooo
I found this video tonight and it totally makes me laugh!
Olivia figured out how to squint and blink
and was showing off but didn't want to do it for the camera.
She is saying "No. Done." but obviously she wasn't. :)

The cold is here
My plants froze last night!
Our house is 60* inside right now.
Every year when it gets this cold
so quick...
I ask myself
"why don't I live somewhere warm?"
and
.
.
"why do we keep buying houses with no forced air?!"
I wasn't made for cold.

Proud Mama
Just a couple things for memories sake--
Jase got her NWEA (testing they use in our district and the northwest) test back for reading yesterday and did awesome. She is in the 3rd grade and was just a couple points from scoring in the 5th grade level. She got her test back for Math today and tested in her grade level. She was disappointed. Ha! She said she wanted to at least get a 4th grade level. I tried to give her good motherly advice on being happy with what she got, she's right on track and blah blah but what the heck...I had to console my child because she didn't overachieve?! Who's kid is this?
Jayda is really good at games. She whomps at Memory! And lately it's checkers. Jase hates playing her because she always loses. And yesterday my little Jayda beat me....legitimately. I had 3 guys left, she had 5 and she double jumped me...dangit....then I made one move, she made one move and I was trapped. You should have heard me hootin and hollerin "Oh My Gosh, I didn't see that! How did you know to do that? What the heck!" Yep, I got beat by a 6 year old but it makes me smile.

Yes, it has been a long time......and Little Miss O
It's been so long I had a hard time deciding where to start. But I settled on Olivia. She stayed with us for only a few months but we loved her. If given the option her last name would have been Redford. I still have some picture posts that she will be in but wanted to devote a post to just her.
First time swimming. She was a little nervous but Jayda was a big helper!
It didn't take long.
Jayda reading 'Livie Lou' a book.
Yes, her hair was that wild every morning!
Jayda and Olivia really were good friends!
Playing with some old powder.
Happy 2nd Birthday!!
She had the same "poop during nap or bed and play with it" habit Kaylin had!
So it was onsies on the outside for awhile.
She thought I was crazy!
Playing babies with wraps was a fav.
One of my favoritest pictures of the 3 of them!
Our going away party the morning she left.
She got into the habit of closing her eyes when she smiled for the camera
just like Jase did for forever at her age!!
Look at my sad Jase. And me...
I think next foster kid leaving picture I am going to make sure I have make up on!
To my no make up credit I did have pneumonia though!
We think about our 'Livers' quite often
but we are very excited for her and the new start she is getting!!

I have an accountable kid
In the last month I have had the flu, pneumonia and a cold. I have decided that even though I don't feel much like blogging or anything else besides laying on the couch I had better get to it because who knows when I will be "better!"
A little LDS baptism info-
In our church little ones don't get baptized until they are 8. By the time a child is 8 they generally know the difference between right and wrong and are old enough to choose to be baptized- in other words accountable. We believe in being punished for your own sins and that means a baby shouldn't be sent to hell because it's parents didn't baptize it. Sean says I worded it a little harsh but I have a harsh experience where I was told otherwise. I don't believe the otherwise and didn't even before I joined the church.
JASELYNNE'S BAPTISM-
Jase got baptized April 16th. It was a pretty day and we had a nice group of people show up.
Before we went in.
The girls in the bathroom with Jase wearing the baptism outfit.
With Daddy who baptized her.
Couldn't not get a picture of Jayda. She wanted to wear white just like her sister.
In the year leading up to her baptism Jase ran the spectrum with what she thought about getting baptized. It didn't surprise us with the shy, smart girl she is. She wanted to know all the info and had worries about being in front of a bunch of people. We had some friends who did an fhe about it a couple weeks before that helped ease her mind and we never pushed her about it just offered info and support and she decided on her own. I love this girl and she looked so sweet on this special day.

Sweet moments
I love my sweet children.
And the best part is catching them when they don't
know you're watching.
Notice a little curly haired theme running through these?
Yep, she's a lover.
