I'm here to blog again. Yes! I'm finally free once again! My work has finally ended and I'm able to stay late with those crazy asses again. Even though my job ended, I'm not pleased at all. Especially when it comes to the money part. Damn it. It's as though as I've been cursed with an unlucky charm or what, everyone's pay comes in perfectly except mine. Damn it. Seriously, I'm going to pursue on if the pay still doesn't comes in by this week. Damn freaking unlucky. Oh yes, I was there at the Arts House for a acoustic gig the other day. 5th of June. I still could recall okay. It's Joseph's birthday what. Haha. Anyway, Luke and Patrick supposed to come with me, but ended up got tagged along by Glenn and Gail. Yea. (Oh I saw the back of Munir on the train when Luke and I were waiting for the rest to arrive at the station.) Before heading to Arts House, Patrick said he need to collect his pay at his school. And we all decided to follow him. And we waited for him at the new cafe/pub at his school, and we waited and waited... We ended arriving Arts House late as usual, saw Ah Heng's bandmates. Chatted awhile and head into Arts House. At the foyer, I was greeted by Munir. Haha. There I saw Faisal and his mates I guess. I thought of supporting him for his show but was told that it's over. Damn. Wasted lah! And I realised some of his friends were actually wearing the familar 3D glasses. Haha. Bastards. I went in to Arts House during the interval. Glenn went over to his friends and got a few of us sits. Caught Postbox's performace. They sounded great. And Trella was next. No comments for them. Well... We didn't catch the last band as everyone was like wanting to leaving the cafe. It was totally packed to your balls man. Glenn left us. And we walked down to Funan and had Subway for dinner. Yes! Subway! Eat fresh! After dinner, walked down some more to Clark Quay. We just walked around and around. It was really awesome there. Ahhhh. Night life. Soon later, we went back to Hougang instead for booze. Bryan, with his greeny uniform and luggage, came to join us. And there was Denis too. And Ah Heng came to find us later. We were all chilling until the police came. Awwww. Okay! Monday's coming real soon. It's like five days away only. And GG! has yet to perfect the remaining five songs and NOT including the birthday song. Oh dear oh dear. How arh? How arh? What if they picked any from the five? Are we gonna make it? Haha. I decided to overcome my super laziness to blog today. Round of applause for me. Thank you I know. For those who haven't seen me and want to know what I've been up to, I'll say that I've been working and yes, thank you, I know I got a job. All thanks to Ignatius actually who managed to get me to work at Sentosa. Haha. I know you guys will be like asking: Sentosa?? Wah! Shiok! Where? Which part? Well, I'm working at one of the attractions called '4D Magix' located at Imbiah. Yea. My job simply so chillax till you're actually able to doze off if you decide to sit down for like ten minutes with nothing to do. What I'm suppose to do is, wait for each show to end (show takes about 20 minutes per show), when the crowd exits, go up to them and ask for their emails to vote for some award, pass them free gift, key the emails into the computer. Luckily for the computer, if not I tell you, I'll be so bored to my death. No, I should say it's worse than death. Yes, I know, working at Sentosa was awesome, thought that going to Sentosa was enough, yet working at Sentosa... Shiok! (If you know what I'm referring to. Hehe.) Oh ya, there was some happenings yesterday when I was working at Sentosa, I should consider myself damn lucky (realised that I do not work everyday), because an old Indian man went for the show, and apparently somewhat fell off his seat during the show. Hahaha. Damn loser. Anyway, he claimed that he injured his hip area and that he could not stand up. It's like WTF! Haha. And they (the tour guide I suppose) made a big fuss out of it. I saw think-he's-not-my-supervisor talking to this other fellow indian dude. After some time, ambulance came and I realise they are still not done with that injured man. (Thought he finally decided to start walking again) The medics also had a hard time moving him into the ambulance from the stretcher since he could only be in the sitting position. That was totally hilarious! Hahaha. I truly felt that yesterday was the shiokest part of my life because of a text. I almost scream out during work. I know this is crazy but still... okay, the text goes like this: Hi this is melissa from ben&jerrys cathay. I've received your audition application for open mic night - an event that is held every saturday for young bands to gain exposure. You will need a repertoire of 10 acoustic songs for this audition - of which we will pick 3 on random for you guys to perform. The next available slot will be _ _th june (_ _ _) 8pm. Do reply to confirm. (Obviously I can't tell you guys the date lah, it's just an audition, no big deal. Wait till we manage to get through first.) I immediately called Patrick and Russell about it. Even though, it's just like any other church event, I took it real serious. I could only blame myself for the many mistakes. Damn it. I should the whole performance was messy. I could see that Russell was disappointed. I totally understand how that feels. I know Patrick would say the same thing although he kept cheering everyone on after the gig. Fucking disappointed. I know everyone did their best already. I thought everything could go smoothly. Looks like I'm still not ready to head a band after so many fucking years. I sucks. Yeah. |
