This boy melts my heart.......every time

He is everything to me, and everyone who knows me knows that my whole world revolves around him. I love everything about him, and I'm counting my blessings that in my life I get to be this little one's mummy. I miss him everyday whenever I'm at work, i dedicate whatever free time i have to spending it with him. 

We have good and bad days, but at the end of each time, we still end with load of cuddles, hugs and kisses. 

It's been ages since I get to work on a 12"x12" layout, and it definitely is a pleasure cause it's only when i started it that i realize that I do miss this process of simple LO's.

Using October Afternoon Woodland Park.....such a beautiful series....

 I'll be leaving for Italy tomorrow for work, and just the thought of not seeing him for the next 10 days kills me but it's part and parcel of my work, so i'm going to breeze through this next 10 days, and do what is needed of me, and then come back home to my baby. I will definitely get through this.

The Weekends.....

It's school's 1 week holidays, and my lil guy hasn't been spending it in a fun way. He's been at home most of the week except for Friday where I took a day of leave from work to just bring him out.....work's been really busy for the last couple of months, and i do my best to spend it with him during the weekends.

This was just this Friday when we are all ready to be spending time just the both of us....with good company, good yummy food.....and so much fun to just see him laugh and smile....



A trip to Botanical Garden in the morning.....too bad the air quality wasn't very good that day so didn't manage to spend as much time as we like outdoors......



After lunch at Marche at 313 Sommerset.....stumbled upon this Charlie Brown Cafe.....so cute!! It so seems that I haven't been to this part of the town much.......

& spent some time on Saturdays completing a mini album I started about a week ago for my best friend's little girl who arrived on 1st September......love love September.....I sure hope she will like it.....

Using October Afternoon's latest - Woodland Park.....I love it so much that I bought a few of everything....chipboards, stickers, papers.....everything...

& my original RAK from my earlier post is still awaiting for the giveaway....and best of all since it's my birthday month this September, I have packed another 2 more mini RAKS.... a bit of everything i love of scrapbooking, from washi tape, to twines, to chipboards, to alphas....so total of 3 RAKS awaiting for the giveaway.

Months with Memories

Each past months although being busy, memories collected as I past them by. Each month with memories of its own.....I'll let the photo speak for themselves....

After May where we spent Kaylen's birthday in Hong Kong, came my holiday trip to Bangkok with my mom in the early part of June......a short 4 day trip to BKK without Kaylen.....loads of food, nice hotel stay, and loads of shopping.....

Then dived right into July where our company has a major product launch event at the Red Dot Museum, which the experience was awesome with a turn out of 250 guest that just our 1 night event.......

Spending National Day at the Marina Bay Sands, Kay's most favourite hotel.......and seeing the National Day fireworks was a wonderful experience for him.....

Not scrapping as much as i used to in the past, but working on projects each time makes me happy, and does really help to relief any work stress that I might come home with....from commissioned photo frame for a good pal from Sabah, to an altered frame for my niece who's arriving in September, teacher's day presents.....all these goodness!!

So far behind in my Project Life.....doesn't matter much of the speed cause i want to still enjoy the process of Project Life, and starting on my Week 14 as we speak.....

& it's also time to purge my supplies, organise a little, and here's the RAK which I would like to give away this September since this is my birthday month....so leave me a comment by 10th September, and I'll pick a winner....

Life now for me is pretty much hectic at work, and actually I find myself liking it....fast paced, and challenging, and how each morning i find myself wanting to get to work as early as I can, and pack as much as I can in a day. Of course, when it's the weekends, they belong totally to Kay. For things I want to see happen, I have to drive it, and I couldn't have done it if I don't have passion for what I do. 12 years in the industry I'm in, I still enjoy every bit of it.

I Miss this Space.....

Have I been gone this long? It's been a good 2 months since my last blog post, and certainly I miss blogging. Life has gotten so much busier on my side of the world, and with any free time, I will be spending it with my special little guy. Scrapping has also lessened in the past months, and only project on my desk would still very much be trying to catch up in my Project Life.

I still very much love scrapbooking, wanting to document as much as I can with all the memories we go through with our ever growing up little boy. So how do you cope with very little energy at the end of each day, and heaps of photos taken to yet be documented?

I don't intend to stop, since the very day i started this hobby was to have a lasting memory for Kaylen to have as he grows up, and how sweet it is that each time we look through and flip the layouts, he smiles. That's enough for me to know that he appreciates and likes what I do, so never will I stop this.

I'll definitely keep this space going.......just glad to be back......

A Month to Love.....May

It's finally May, and our lil guy turns 5 this May. Can't believe it that I've 5 great years looking at him grow up, 5 years being at mommyhood which is the best thing ever that can happen to me, 5 years of so much more love for this lil one, 5 years of figuring out how to do my job best at bringing him up.......This is why i love the month of May.

He will be 5 in another 19 days time, and so much to be doing and prepping cause we'll be celebrating this birthday this year in Hong Kong. A trip to Disneyland is what we're giving him this year for his birthday, and before we leave I've still to prepare for his birthday party at school.

How can you not love this lil one to bits......my every day source of strength, my driving force.....

And on the other hand besides being busy with daily stuff, and getting so tired in the last 2 weeks that I didn't get to do as much scrappy stuff except for a commissioned canvas piece, and a mini album for a good friend's daugther. Here's what I've done for my Project Life from week 8 to 11.
