    Artsy Fartsy

Saturday came without a hangover, and it was off to Downtown East, for an Art Gallery [Alive Gallery]~ Basically, it was more of an educational tour, on appreciating art as a whole. I love literature, and thus such artwork from the great Da Vinci, Raphael are to my interest.
It was amazing to know, how much information one could actually abstract if he scrutinizes the pictures to the detail. Too bad, no photography was allowed, else I could have taken every art piece on display and share with you guys!
Costing 17 Bucks, I personally felt it was too expensive.. But yet again, Art ain't cheap!! Rah~
Sunday was at Gman's workplace. Red Dot Traffic Museum.. He was working there as a Stall Assistant, and what he sells, sure is crazy! The items on sale, won Design Awards, and were unique in every way possible. It was an 'Out of the Box concept', and paying for the design, was exorbitant!!
Theres a gallery, costing 8 Bucks. So should you go there, have a look inside, and blow your mind, on how creative one could actually get.. It was a pretty sight, with many colours!! Totally makes you feel like a kid again!
What you are seeing are simply Tupperware of different colours, but they look so dreamy (:The coffee machine, Nesspressoi got the legs that girls would covet for.. i know!
Ear-ring holder on the left, and a Jigsaw Ring on the ring~This is a Sink.. Giving the Eclipse ambiance to it..A bathtub, i would die for.. my favourite colour!! Ceramic White <3 style="text-align: left;">There you go, the updates all at one go (: hope you guys enjoyed my entries, and please Tag for anything you want me to blog about !!!!

Just 1 day after my Krabi getaway, it was time to work... As a Camp Instructor to ACS (Barker)..
FYI: the Saints school & ACS rivalry was around, during my time. It was all about the girls. You see, the Saints have their own school, in which they poach girls. This so called, 'territory' is also our alter-ego. Something which we do not invade or try to win over.
However, ACS thinks they are the best in sports and studies and whatever they do, and not to mention rich mofos~ Wooing girls from the Saint Territories. But of cause, all these are the past.. Hence, childish memories aside ((:

    ------------------------------
It was a leadership camp, over at Batam, for 3 Days 2 Nights~ Consisting of 17 students, Sec 2 & 3, and their CCA was NPCC. PERFECT~!!

I usually keep quiet at start of the camp, to observe the students.. So as to know how i should handle them and punishment if need be. In this case, I realise they are an obedient bunch, but of cause, young = childish at thoughts, where Love Is Beautiful~

High rope obstacle course was one activity to see what kind of character they had. Some simply give up without trying, while others try and try, before finally giving up. I am not interested or impressed by those who can finish the obstacle in the fastest time, but rather those who can't, but try and try.
When we scale on something, it is best to see that we accomplish it all the way, and not a half hearted effort. There was one student, I vividly remember. He was shaking at one of the height elements, and keep telling himself that he can't do it.
I told him, 'But you haven't even tried, how would you know?' So, he took one step forward, slowly, but steadily... Next I said, 'Dude, you took that one step forward already, you already know how to continue your next step, now get over that fear, have trust in yourself, and push yourself..'
He did what i said, and eventually complete the obstacle. I had a talk with him, and asked how he felt. He simply said, he was afraid, and the first was the hardest, but yet again, it was the first step that made him realise how it felt, and also the technique to continue the remaining steps..
I am proud of him, for what he had learnt and applied. As an instructor, my job is to inculcate to these students valuable lessons for them to apply in life. Not that i am perfect myself, but I am learning from them too!

Instead of procrastinating, why not try, before giving up! The first is always the hardest, but the second, and third would follow suit.. Its the conditioning of your mind, that can make that change, and pull you through ((:
Went to do alil Community Service at this Orphanage.. Been quite awhile since I aided the less fortunate, apart from donation! So I just drew on their White Board, wishing there Hari Raya (:

When we about to depart, one of the Orphans came up and say Thank You, followed by a speech.. It touched my heart, and sent a tingling chill down my spine, reminding me again, how fortunate I truly am!

"We are very grateful for all that you have done for us. However, there is nothing for us to give back to you, in return. We can only pray for you.."

After Batam, the next few days just flew by, like Boom Boom Pow~ the Chinese 7th Month is over alas, and to commemorate it, I went to a 'Getai' dinner!
Hokkien songs, and Auction!!! the anarchy that is actually on-going while we eat. The food is awesome!!! Roast Pig skin, Abalone, Roast Duck, Steam Fish... hahah, it was delightful. But some of my friends, already start developing Bellies.. my my~

After Getai, straight to Marina Bay Sands again. This time to drink and chill with my poly mates! Honestly, I am getting quite bored of Marina Bay Sands ardy. Like a second home.. Lol..

Friday!!! In lieu to this, it was Tian Wee's birthday celebration, cum his farewell to Paris for 6months. It was held at the Cage [Kallang].. Formed into groups, this was mine ((:
And needless to say, CHAMPION for every game.. Felicia was the leader!!
    Gabrielites go strong!!!
the aftermath of the game.. Nic and his twisted knee!!

Comes the approach of Stephanie's early birthday celebration.. Guess where it was held at? MARINA BAY SANDS.. Buffet dinner at The Rise, followed by Drinking session at Fuse ((:
    Original Media Events Company ((:
    Rosette Champagne for the win!

It was more of catching up, and enjoying each other's company! Thank you Steph....

    Krabi (Thailand)
A 4D3N chillax getaway, from the hustle and bustle of Singapore life. Something that I have been wanting to get away from. Low budget, Yi Xian and I set off via Tiger Airlines, on Monday! We had no itinerary on hand, and everything was just drafted in our minds.

    Day 1
What was suppose to be 2 Single Beds, became a Couple Suite. And they call it a free upgrade! Am sure the receptionist thinks both of us are gay.. and considering that Yi Xian is way bigger size than me, people would have the idea that I am the one getting my 'Back-door' poked by him!
pool side party is now possibleHad a simple first day, where we swam, had a full body Thai Massage and some local seafood dinner~
Alcohol is an appetizer too... No?
    Day 2
the adventure begins! We went White-Water Rafting first.. and the feeling of being a tourist is hell-yea AWESOME! we were paired up with these 2 lovely Japanese girls, who were outrageously cute, without acting. needless to say, Yi Xian and I did the work of paddling..
safety first ((:taking a dip, to pee! thinks i have no ideaThe scenic view compliments the torrential white waters. It was a perfect fusion of 'Ying & Yang' if i were to call it. The calm & The rush~!
Next we headed off to handle the 'All Terrain Vehicle'.. It was more like a bike with 4 wheels, and on a dirt trail.. While others are trying to veer from the mud, i was rushing into it. It was an activity that is meant for you to get dirty, so bask in the mud, theres a toilet?
Next the Fish Spa.. Tickles like a biatch, as those little suckers feast on ur dead skin! However, u get immune to it, and it becomes enjoyable. Then u see a dead fish floating by, and start wondering if its because of you! lol~
Then the elephant show! No idea why, the elephant started to pee.. Initially I thought it was the rain, till I saw the elephant's Penis.. I was like HOLY SHIT~! i hereby declare that Male elephants have FIVE legs!
Night creeped in, and it was time for dinner.. Local delights never fails, and we headed to this street stall to pacify our hungry tummies!

    Day 3
hello fellow tourists! It was an underwater adventure! Snorkling and various small islands~ and not to mention the beach. Fine granuled white sands, with crystal clear waters greeted us with claps made by the waves.. Hot babes were in abundance. Clad in 2 piece bikini, Yi Xian and I were simply smiling from teeth to teeth (:
We looked gay, just by standing to each other, not to mention taking picture together. Gosh~ But i guess it was a perfect disguise to look at girls and not be labelled Perverts! hah..
Some sight-seeing at Phi Phi Island, where i caught this ingenious shirt on display. Mission Impossible.. Made me wonder, how super obese people make love? No judging here, just some side thoughts!
After these activies, we were shagged.. Headed straight for the hotel, and rested, before we went for Oil Massage at this posh Massage Parlour! All thanks to Yi Xian great idea. Price was kinda steep though, but I must admit, it was fantastic~
I rented a bike, so travelling about the town wasn't an issue. Road side stall once again.. cheap as can be, we ate and slept soon after.

    Day 4
Time to head back to Singapore. The snap back into reality~ Fairytale ends! It was a total relaxation, and as we touched down Singapore, it was a morbid feeling ):
