I had to post today because of the date.  Here is what Kanyon looks like when he is sad.  I laugh every time.  He doesn't think it's funny.  He loses his smile when things don't go his way.  He is too cute!

Family Pictures

Today was Keaton's birthday. We found out today that he hates wrapping paper.  He wouldn't open his present, he freaked out. I guess it was the ripping sound?  Who knows. (Christmas morning should be interesting.) So we had to open it for him.  Then he LOVE it. (a Priddy board book) It was a great day for family pictures, carving pumpkins with family and having the ward trunk-or-treat. It's a miracle that Keaton cooperated for these pictures.

4th of July Evening

Our great friends, the Higginson's, invited our family to their families stadium of fire party.  It was a blast by all!  KC is now obsessed with the Beach Boys.  And why not?! \

4th of July Afternoon

We met the Saunders at Utah Lake. We had some wake boarders, knee boarders and tubers: We had some watchers: We had some drivers:  We had an eager boy pull in his mom: We had a flag girl: We had some fun!

4th of July Morning

I love living in Utah County!  Seriously.  The 4th of July is awesome with all the hot air balloons everywhere. Kye and the two older kids went down at 6:00 AM to watch the balloons fill up and take off.  The little boys and I watched the balloons come up over our neighborhood. The view from Marie Ridge's porch On our way to the ward breakfast, there was one in the road. When we got to the breakfast, there was a balloon there too! Ward breakfast line-up On the other side of the school, there was a nice group of people that let anyone get in and ride up a little bit. The fire blasting was loud! Katiebug is in the red shirt waving.

10 Years!

For our 10th anniversary, we thought it would be awesome to ride the world's steepest zip-line, located in Park City at the Olympic Park.  Too bad there was a power failure throughout the entire park right before we were to get in our harness.  At least we have pictures of what could have been... Here we are riding the lift.  Here I am next to the sign.  We were excited!  Earlier we walked through City Creek Center.  It is pretty amazing. We stayed at the Anniversary Inn on 5th South.  I have to say that we had the weirdest room.  Our original room's air conditioner didn't work, so we were up-graded to the room called "Sultan's Palace".  Apparently there is something romantic about sleeping atop two elephants and bathing under the watchful eye of a dragon. AHH! It was a memorable anniversary, for sure!!
