Birthday Week

 
 
 
 

Last week was such a fun week, starting off with Ryan having spring break, beautiful weather and also my birthday. I had a doctors appointment that morning, for my postpartum checkup, and was surprised by Ryan right before I left with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a mirror I've been wanting for a while. After the doctor the Hill gals took me to lunch, along with my mom, ValJean and Shannon. It was so fun to all get together! Then I came home to find that the boys had made a cake for me while I was gone all afternoon, my day just kept getting better... we then finished the night off going out to dinner with my brothers. I couldn't have asked for a better day!

St. pAtriCk'S dAy FuN

We started some new traditions for St. Patrick's Day this year and had a lot of fun doing it! It all started when we checked out a random book about St. Patrick's Day from the library, which got Noah really excited for this holiday. He kept telling everyone that if they didn't wear green, they would get pinched by the "apricot". We had fun on Monday night making treats (idea from Studio 5) for grandmas and a leprechaun trap to see if we could catch any leprechauns the next day. We woke up to find little green footprints and "gold at the end of the rainbow" (our favorite, skittles and rolos!) in the trap. We didn't catch a leprechaun, but he was generous to leave a treat. I'm so lucky to be the mom of these cute little guys, they make life so great!

Collin is already 5 weeks old today. He's around 11 pounds and loves to eat. He is such a good baby and it's been so fun having him! I say it over and over, but time just keeps flying by. Here are a few recent pics of the little guy.
