Snow day

The kids didn't actually get a snow day from school because they left for school right when it started snowing, and then it just continued to snow all day. They played a little after school but the snow wasn't nearly as nice.

Margie gave us some supplies to make our own "snow". We made it out of hair conditioner and corn starch. It was sweet of her to think of us.

New Years

We got together with friends and family on New Years. It was tons of fun. We all stayed until Midnight.
Matt and Mickies kids came down during Christmas break so we got to hand with them. Little Grace is just the sweetest.
 Ashlyn and Maylee.
 Grace, hammin' it up.

Christmas

This is Christmas festivities in no particular order.
Amber got to go with Ashlyn to activity days and make a ginger bread house.

Opening presents. The kids bought a Nintendo switch with their money and a little from us, and they got a couple of games.

Tanner got a Gabb phone. It is a phone with only talk and text. So glad they finally came up with this.

We didn't do the Jingle Jog that the YMCA puts on this year, so we went with Jordan and Kyla's family to look at Christmas lights.
Games on Christmas Day. Tenzi is a new favorite game.

Amber got a lot of clothes this Christmas. I refused to buy toys. They never get played with!

The whole group.

 Christmas was at our house.

On Christmas Eve, Kris told the kids they could open their gift from her. They all got books with a little jar of m&m's. For every page they read they got to eat an m&m.
Christmas morning picture before opening presents.  Not pictured is the pingpong table they got from Santa.

They white elephant exchange. I should have taken a picture of what I got. It was a hideous doll with a gift card to Red Robin. I saved the doll I am going to bring it back next year.

It was a great Christmas.
