Mr Ho's urge for sushi buffet lead us here on a Sunday morning. Filled with excitement and a fucking hungry stomach, we made our way there, hoping to get something as close to Kikuzawa if possible. The range of time for us to eat would be from 11.30 to 2.30 being the last order. So far If i recall right, we made 3 huge orders. Lagger was the first one to get KO (expected).

The entrance

Fancy Smancy lights

Quite a traditional setting of gloss wood table and chairs.

Right off the bat we started ordering some sashimi. Salmon and Tuna!

This was the dish of the day in my opinion. The spicy soft shell crab roll(on the right) was so awesome!! Spicy sweet sauce on top with crunchy soft shell crabs wrapped with rice. So the perfect.

Cy's order of his deadly trio. Tamago, Inari and Unagi. Soft shell crab for me though :D
Cy's comment was that Kikuzawa's Tamago still owns. I couldn't agree more.

Couldn't skip the tempura platter could we. Crispy and light, just the right amount of batter in my opinion.

I didn't order this so I couldn't comment on it's taste. But I know the miso ramen sucked. Based off Cy's comments and BK's expression when he was trying to wash it down his throat LOL.

Another fan favorite. Agedashi Tofu! The tofu here is not deep fried like other places. They only kinda lightly pan fry the tofu to give the tofu a light crisp to its skin. Pretty decent overall.

Pumpkin and Potato Croquette. Most places have killer potato Croqs, not this place in my opinion. The pumpkin Croq clearly owned the potato one in this restaurant.

Bk starts off the meal with...wasabi ?!

Slippery slippery salmon~

Don looks so fucking sian when eating the salmon. Cheer up leh emo kia. LOL

Hoho and Poppy clearing the sashimi

Why so serious poppy ? LOL You must be very hungry right hahahaha~

and finally a small gesture of happiness once the tummy starts to fill :D

First one to KO @ buffet can do what? Play with digital camera like her.

Woah Ho getting in close LOL

The Han Namjas trying to finish up the food

Still messing with digital camera while we all eat.

Caught in the moment of a conversation

Sawadikap~

I'll gladly give the honors to Don to explain this picture.

Overall the food was pretty good. For 26SGD @ a Japanese buffet, the variety you get is a plenty. From sashimi to hand rolls to fried foods, rice and noodles dishes, they have pretty much covered most of the fan favorite Jap foods Singaporeans would and want to order. It was also nice to gather together and eat @ a buffet talking lots of bullshit. These are the fun times that goes by fast, but will always be treasured and remembered as a memory of friendship bonding. Thank you all for today's outing!! Till next post, take care suckers !!!
