These few days have been a cycle. Gambling till past midnight then waking up in the noon. You won't believe what time i woke up this morn' er... i mean noon. I woke up at 3. Then its brunch followed by more visiting.

We visited grandaunt. She lived in a nunnery. She's 80++. How she became a nun was a sad poignant story of unrequited love, worthy of a shakespeare tragedy. She was only 18 then. I only see her once a year, but there exists a special and unspeakable bond towards her. When we left, i teared. I was afraid i would never get to see her again.

Then we visited mom's friends. There was a gathering at a friend's place. They were friends from her college days. And one of them, she had known her since they were in kindergarten. Kids, travel, work and gossip dominate the conversation. I was the topic of discussion for a whole good TEN minutes. =X

I wondered if 3905 would have a gathering after so many years, like more than 25 years later. I can't imagine us lugging kids and husbands to a gathering. It sounds scary.
By the way, kids are kinda scary.

Gong Xi Fa Cai, everyone!!!

Woo~hoo, today's been a great day. The CNY celebration was fun. We cheered hard for wee gin and he was arm-chioing. Then sing the CNY songs as well, ha, rather funny. And mr cheng was so cute. We cornered him then "huat ar" him. ahahha! He looked so blur.

Then went home. Was supposed to meet up with huilin and mingfen at 2:30, but was so tired that fell asleep and woke up at 3++. Ha, i'm always late meeting them, as in not the fashionably late kind but the very late kind. Then met them at Suntec.

Gosh, i was in suntec yesterday, today and i'll be there tomorrow as well, cos' having renuion dinner over there. Talked and shopped and bought stuff. Then vanda came. She was ice-skating with her class. Her class is like cool la, they were lo-heiing, erm, i mean, tossing the yu-sheng during break then went ice-skating.

Went Bugis after that for dinner and more shopping. The things in Bugis street are like super cheap. Bought even more stuff. Someone confiscate my wallet please.
Ha, but not as much as that hualin. Buy so much, then feel guilty. haha.
And dear yi hsuan, the watches there are 3 for $10, so you may consider downgrading from your $300-winnie eye's-laser shot-watch. ha.

Oh, and bump into aileen there as well. Its so crowded, the whole world is pratically there. By the way, smth funny, van told me, mrs leong looks like tan hwee pin and Dongfang Billy. Ahahhaha, just imagine! What a gross combination. Ahahhaha! And gossiped a little about some AJ couples. hee! =D

This time, when i reached home, it was close to midnight. But mummy didn't scold, and she only called ONCE! Gee, tink she's getting used to it. Just a few more times then no problem already. Ha.

I'm so tired now, ran 8 rounds in the morning then walked for hours. I seriously need to sleep now.

Snorezzzzz....

But just to end this off, everyone get ready...

Huat ar!!

Heeee, today pon chinese. Feels so good. Went to carrefour at suntec for groceries shopping, had dinner at marche then went chinatown walk walk.

Queued for like eternity for the bak gua. Seriously, is there any difference between bak gua bought in chinatown and those bought elsewhere?? At the end of the day, they're just succelent slices of juicy meat, barbequed to perfection with hints of smoky flavours with char-grilled corners. Tantalising but oh-so sinful. So why must buy from there?
Chinatown is like so crowded and the bak gua shops have queues that snaked all the way past a few shops. And all these on thursday night. Ridiculous. Don't people have to work tomorrow? So late already, still fight for bak gua with students still in AJ uniform at 9pm.

I'm already mentally tired, and now, physically tired as well.

Then come back home, and guess what, Auntie Jojo and family decided to drop by for a visit. Haha, Jed jed is so cute and smart. He's like 4 yrs old but he knows how to use bombastic words like enormous and mannequin. Ha, and xinyi dun even know what the hell is mannequin.

But all Jed jed can answer me when i asked him questions, is "NO".

Example: "Jed jed, do you know who am i"

"NO..."

"I'm minyi jie jie. Do you think minyi jie jie is pretty?"

"NO..."

"Then do you like minyi jie jie"

"NO..."

-_-'''

Tsk tsk! high IQ, but low EQ.

Hahaha...

Then the party got wilder. Auntie bee bee and family decide to drop by for a visit too. Stressed, man. And that stooopidd chow chow got so excited and hyper and started barking like crazy. All these at 10++, with a mentally and physically exhausted me who haven't bathed, haven't rested, in school uniform since 6 in the morning, smelling like a cest pit.

Hee hee, its quite fun though. Except for that stupid noble who went straight for the bak gua i had so tediously queued for and finish 5 pieces in a row. I swear to go to his house tomorrow and finish his entire supply, man.

Aarrrggghhhh! still got econs essay to do.
Going crazy, someone save me!!

Whew, just got home and i'm like so super-duper tired. Its been a long long day.

Cheers! I've gotten all my new year clothing and shoes. Can't wait for CNY.
I just wanna have a stick-thin figure and lots of moolah so i can wear all the gorgeous clothes in the world without any trace of guilt.

Shucks, haven't touch chinese yet. Not that it make any difference.

Disillusioned.

Its still the same, even if i've put in effort. Nah, they said its because you just haven't put in enough effort. The difference between the possible and the impossible lies in determination.
Sounds familiar? ha, koped from the quote at netball court.

Somehow when you don't possess it, you will love it more, even though you have courted it for a long time.

I kept thinking of you. I dunno why.

Woo-hoo!

My little sis's commonwealth essay is selected. And despite the fact that the essay has only 'bout 800++ words, and the minimum word limit is 1200. More editions needed.

I'm so proud.

Haven't finish CNY shopping. Hitting town again tomolo.

I've been wondering this weekend why people have been asking me if i'm feeling better. I just did not go to school on friday.

Okay, i got to know why now. My dear old mom just remembered someone called and that she told someone i was sleeping and i'm very very sick. Who issit by the way? ha.

Erm, i wasn't sick. I was in town till ten?
Ok, cheng don't go online so yeah...
Oh yah, speaking of this, there's this very funny thing that happened at taka on friday. Ha, we were at the same old place having dinner then halfway mom went to the toilet. Then she came back, flustered and rather excited.

She exclaimed " eh, you know what i saw, there are 2 pairs of legs in one of the cubicles, its the first cubicle. The toilet cleaning auntie was complaining that they have been inside for more than 1 hour and everyone in the toilet are bending down to look under the crack in the door"

I asked incredously, jaw dropped-open, a piece of meat hanging on my braces and chopsticks hanging mid-air, " did you actually BEND down and look underneath the door"

She continued enthusiastically, " I've to verify whether what the cleaning auntie said was true what, besides, many people were bending down to look as well."

That's my mom for you.
The worst thing is, it kind of runs in the family.

Ha, then i was curious or inquistive or anything. Ok, FINE, i admit, i'm kaypoh, so i drag xinyi along to the toilet. aahahaha.

Then we pretended to rinse our mouths and then some security guards came in and knocked on the door. Wow, great timing, then we stood there and act blur while looking on. Two girls walked out. They looked 15-ish. One of them have very very short cropped hair, quite chio, and very butchy. The other was more feminine. Okay, i guess you know where this is going to lead to. They left very quickly and the excuse that they gave for staying in the cubicle for more than an hour was one girl was helping the other to apply some lotion on her back as she's sunburnt.

For more than an hour? Ha, but from the cleaning auntie's vivid and colourful description, there's more to what it seems. Aahahah. Its censored.

Shucks, nobody seems to be free this weekend. Got to wait till next week for geisha. I'm seriously bored. Woo-hoo, CNY's coming. But i'm already finishing all the bak gua and pineapple tarts. So in order to control this terrible weight problem of mine, i shall run 5km instead of 4 now.

By the way, i'm still thinking of what excuse to give mr cheng. Thought of diarrhoea, constipation, fever or flu or bad menstrual pain. But the best one seemed to be migraines. Hahaha, cos you will have a few migraines a month and all you need is a parent's letter and some panadols.

Woo hoo, i'm such a genius.
Ahahahha.

Just woke up after a nice woozy nap of 3hrs. Hmmm, great weather, its raining again, and physical exercise really tires one out. Ran a 6 yesterday and some during pe today. Just edited PBL and send it over. Gee, its quite late, but i just woke up. Gotta start on memorising the chinese ancient text. Tis' crazy.

I think i've got a rather cool gp group. At least everyone puts in effort at work. And its fun, yeah, i've got pretty cool group members. All of them. There's the very very comical zhen yin, rather witty atikah, brainy and very very knowledgable geraldine and wee gin who's quite smart sometimes. I think i learned more with this group.

Unfortunately, i've got the worse grouping for econs. Don't fight with me for this title cos' there's this MTV guy here and nothing's going to beat that.

This entry is so random, but we are getting to the essence.

HAPPY BURRFFFDAYY!!!

Yi hsuan.

You can smoke, drink alcohol, watch m-18 movies, go clubbing and get a driving license. Err, actually since last year. Ha.
Hope you like that present and was surprised by the 'surprise', albeit a rather lousy one.ha.

That's all folks!

Reached home at 11 last night. Got into lots of flak, scolded big time. But its with someone special to buy something special for someone special. Ok, whatever. Ha.

Sexuality workshop today. Erm... quite interesting.
At least learned something.

Ha, then went pizza hut for lunch. Got home, totally shagged. Slept for abt 3 hours without bathing. Then woke up and went to taka for dinner, still without bathing. Ha, i'm such a pig.

Halfway through dinner, had a really bad stomachache. It was rumbling. Went for, what's that word, egestion?
Shit, been full of shit lately. Ha, no pun intended.

Then there's someone in the toilet who went 'Plonk' and 'Pppfffhhhh' as well. HAHA, even louder than Joei. Or ok, she's the loudest. LOL.

Got to start working hard but its difficult. Still in a god-forbidden holiday mood. And Chinese New Year's round the corner.

I simply can't wait.

Went gyming with vanda and huilin at the sports hall this morning. Not bad, burned abt 300 calories. Great workout. Fun.

Then left early, went taka. Seriously, the best guy candidate to go shopping with would be your dad. Cos' he would pay for everything, carry everything and not say anything. Wahaa, and i've never see my mom more excited than she was on a shopping spree. Hmm, not bad today, spring-summer collection.

I dun want to grow up and have to work and stuff. I just want to remain young forever and depend on my parents, ha, financially and spritually.

By the way, i pierced my left ear. Ha, my mom was encouraging me, asking me to be a little more cooler. Then tried pursuading xinyi. Why dun she pierce a few more herself? Ha, i know her little secret. She's scared of pain. Ha, i've got an uber cool mom.

Shucks, school tomolo. haven't do the holiday econs essay yet. Ha, shall copy wholesale tomolo. Might as well photostap the whole chunk.
Goodnight.

First week of school has ended. Yeah, and its great, seeing everyone again, talking, cracking cold jokes and laughing and err, ha, trying to finish the holiday homework. I think i'm quite guai la, didn't copy much, so, ha, got a lot of blanks. opps!

The new time table is like crazy. All the clA periods are like pushed behind and priority is given to the lit students. All our days end very late and i'm deprived of all my afternoon naps. What kind of reasoning is that? Its an injustice to all clA students. Hmmphh!

Oh yah, and i'm being saboed into being the chinese rep. Thanks to all my very good friends. pls note the sarcasm. =) =)
Seriously la, fancy asking someone with the worst chinese standard in the whole class or erm even the whole cohort to be the chinese rep. You must be joking.
Oh, and wrote a piece of crap also known as chinese essay yesterday. Seriously, 4 periods of clA on friday, till 5. Did you get that? FOUR!!!

FOUR!!!

FOUR!!!

Unbelievable.

Looking at all the J1s having fun, i just wanna to go back to J1 again. Saw erm ok, i'm being candid here, i am, but i think that even if you're being retained, its no big deal. You are just a bit older, prolly by a month than the others. You just did not work as hard as you should be, or you're just plain unlucky. Its nothing really. All you need to do is just to re-adjust your mindset and embrace your new lease of life. Just join the rest in all the games and have loads of fun and meet new people and learn new stuff. That's what life is all about. Just enjoy everything that comes your way. At least you get a chance at studying. Just look at the African kids. They dun even know what education is. They barely have enough food.
Ok, pls pardon me. But just helped my sis EDIT her commonwealth essay which explored the plight of the poor african kids, so i'm feeling a lot for them.

Ha, on a lighter note, the J1s looked quite cute playing those games and they all look so young and new and green and yeah, everything. Hope there will be some angel and mortal thing. Yesh, there's lots of new zhonghuarian J1s. Well done kids!
Ha, i shall call them kids cos' i'm now older than them. Muahahahaha!

By the way, mug with my kid sis at buddy hoagies just now. Or erm... actually more of trying to complete some homework. I've gotta finish everything by today cos' hee, i shall be rocking orchard tomolo. Seriously, its calorie overload just now. First we had hot chocolate, then waffles and ice-cream, then those deep-fried spicy chicken wings. Then there's some sort of award presentation ceremony over there with the mp. Yeah, so there's loads of sec school kids(hee, kids they are, i'm j2 now) And saw mel and her friends over there. She went there to mug as well. Aj mugging cafe? There's a bunch of jc students mugging as well, dunno what school then there's 2 acjc guys as well. Some kind of mugging cafe, eh.

Whew, long entry this is. So there shall be no conclusion. =)

Ciao!

School's reopening tomolo.
I dunno why but been feeling jitters since last night.
A turmoil of emotions.

Excitement mingled with dread,
Enthusiasm coupled with apprehension,
Eagerness blended with consternation.

Perhaps i'm just one insecure and uncertain fellow.
But i will travel through 2006 just as how i have journeyed through 2005.
With my great old friends as companions and my family as support.
For i know every mile will be worth my while.

Its a little late for New Year Resolutions, but have been busy these few days. Nevertheless, better late than never...

1) Be more dilligent and mug hard for the As
Its the proceess that mattered, the fact that you've done your best and have no regrets when you look back later in life. At least that's what ms chan said before the Os.

2) Be selfless and nore helpful
I am blessed. I have great family and friends whom i love. A lot.
Kids in Africa are starving. Crime is rampant over there. There are many less fortunate people around. You could fill the world with a litle more love by just extending a helpful hand. Every single little gesture mattered. And the world will be a much better place, everyone you know will be happy and feel loved. And you will be happy as a result and become a better person.

3)Lose more weight and get fitter
Errr... this is personal. But you look better slimmer and fitter. And i'm a down right narcissist.
I just love admiring myself.

4)Try to stick to the above 3
You know just how you can't resist temptations.
