Joei and Yi hsuan came over to do econs project today. Ha, erm... more of copy and paste actually. Then yi hsuan brought popcorn over and ha, it started popping in the microwave. Interesting. Popcorn rocks! =)
Ha, din really do much on the project, basically the whole day is spent slacking. Ha, just slacked on the sofa, the beds, the chairs and tok and laugh. Ha, quite fun actually, then went to play some badminton and the gym.
Haha, there's this weird weird guy in the gym who's erm... ok, friendly. Ha, maybe a little too friendly.
This is how i spent my friday.
Ha, slacking and toking and laughing with 2 great friends. Seriously, this is how i want to spent my holidays. Too bad, school is starting.
Nevermind, there shall be more fun after the A-levels.
Oh yeesshh!
Just let me fantasize about the period after the As.
Just let me fantasize...

Something's wrong with my internet connection. Dunno why it kept what's that word? jittering?
Today went back for netball mugging and pole painting. But didn't mug much, woke up late, by the time i got there, it was almost lunch.
Tsk, got scolded, tink she almost vomit blood trying to explain functions to me. ha, i can't help it. Math is tough.
Went kfc for lunch and guess who i saw???
Surprise, surprise!
Ha, i didn't really notice at first, then suddenly everyone was looking around at each other cos' someone in pizza hut was like waving crazily. ;)
Haha, then i looked up and it was Yi hsuan. Think she's eating with the 3 mushroom 6 old women gang.
Ahahahaha!
Then pole painting. Its a tedious process. Din know you have to use sand paper to scrape those metal surfaces before painting them. Painted them red, yellow and silver. Tink they are rather cool. Well, of course, since i helped a little. ;)
Ok, i shall stop being so EGO! according to my sarcarstic little sis whose favourite hobby is suaning me. ha.
Ended up having paint over me and those slippers. OMG!
Exhausted, but i shall be a good girl and try to do some hmw tonight.
Exhausted.

I'm feasting on Hagen daz chocoloate ice-cream now. Hee hee!
Such decadence. But hey, its not my fault. Its 'tiramisu's fault. Its that show on ch 5 and they show such lovely desserts which seduced me to have some myself.
Ha, anyway, today was fun. Met up with vanda at J8. We bought slippers, erm, or rather, they are called havaianas aren't they? Read about them somewhere. They are really cool and comfty, ha , i <3 them.
Then huilin came and we took neoprints.
Ha, a very funny process. And i got a present from van, a sock thingy? ha, and a card
from hui. Ha, thanks guys.
Came back to my house and slack for a while. Ha, then went to the gym to work out. I tink for quite long. Yays, at least i burned some calories. Aaargh, and gained back from the ice-cream. Ok what follows next is swimming. Ha, went swimming in shorts and t-shirts. But i had my swimsuit underneath. Then some irritating security guard spotted us, and told us about rules. Ha, we said we would get out, but ha, swam to a far corner and chatted there for some time.
Ha, then went opposite to Buddy Hoagies for dinner. Flame grilled chicken rocks, man.
I'm so tired now. and so dead. Just a few more days to scool reopening, and have only finished 2 tutorials. But heck care , next year is going to be one helluva of a year. So i might as well enjoy this holiday and totally chill out before plunging headlong into mugging next year.
Haha, but if there's anyone who's kind enough to lend me your hmw, PLEASE lend it to me. I need help, seriously.
Ha, nite folks, gotta wake up early tomolo for netball.
Hope there will be some kind of mass copying session.
=)

Here's some pictures taken in Korea. I've got a few hundred.
Anyway, erm, enjoy them.

This is one of my favourite pic.
A real classic of my parents.
Hahaha.
I forced them to take this pose after lots of pursuasion. They said they will pay me back for this pic when i get married. ie. they are going to take very embarrasing and mushy pics of me and my future husband.
BUT they can't get me if i don't get married. Muahahahaha!
By the way, don't let them know. They will kill me if they know this pic goes public. Ahahahha. I love them.

Whee! Just came home from the family christmas party.
Yeah, its real great! It got all the works of an authentic christmas. Turkey, ham, roast chicken, roast duck, char siew (erm...) ha, spaghetti (most delicious in the world), sushi, plum pudding, logcake and booze, wine, christmas tree, presents, people etc..
The spaghetti is admittedly the best in the whole wide world, cooked with sweat and blood (not part of the ingredients) of the renowned, widely-acclaimed chef, Fong Minyi. Yays!
Its potluck, then everyone brings some food to aunt shin's house, that's the good thing about living near each other. It's only a 5 min walk. Yeah, anyway, i cooked the spaghetti(FANTASTIC!) and xinyi made sushi, erm, she like made only 6 pieces, ha, cos she was in front of the tv all the time and couldn't finish everything on time.
whew, i ate so much that i felt so bloated. Yeah, felt tipsy too. The beer and wine flowed quite freely. And let me see, i had 2 glasses of beer and a glass of red wine. Wow, actually i felt ok, ha, i'm a good drinker. yup, a terrific one.
Yah, and presents!!! Yays, i've got quite a lot of presents this year, erm, actualy its not a lot la, a fair amount. About 7, i tink. Oh yesshh, i'm a happy gurrl now!
Presents are like a kind of surprise. Its the thought that counts. Really. They contains the intention, the goodwill, the effort, the time taken. Its the same for cards as well. So thank you to those who have sent me those cards and smses. =)
Isn't it amazing! I think family are like amazing creatures. You spent little time with them, yet they understand you the most. They accept you for who you are and loved you for that. They even love all your flaws.
Yeah, and guess who i saw today at Northpoint, in cold storage.
Its Bithiah. Wow, i thought she's in australia and i couldn't even recognise her.
Haha, yeah, a real pleasant surprise.
Oh wells! I'm tired, tipsy, and topsy-turvy?
Ha, Merry Christmas everyone!

How will you look when your 75? (Pictures)
Haha, got this from mel's blog. Thought it interesting. And better looking than her 75 years old potrait. ha.
I clicked to view all pictures and all looked equally gross. (erm, mine is quite nice,ok)
Growing old is terrible. Looking old is worse.
I think i will go for botox if the need ever arises.

Got so much to blog about today. haha
Been reading a lot this week. I'm like waking up and read for the whole day then its the same for the whole of next day. Cos dun feel like doing any homework then can you believe it, there's not like any nice shows, even on cable. Anyway,
Read 'Memoirs of a geisha'.
Contrary to stero-minded misconceptions, Geishas aren't really high-class prostitutes. They are skilled artistes trained in the art of the tea-ceremony, dancing and conversation making. These requires years of schooling and training. They are sort of like the movie stars back then, and with movie stars salary. Most earn a decent sum and the successful ones are very rich.
Then read 'The Historian'. God, i love the front cover so much that i wrapped it in plastic. To sort of preserve it, so i can admire its beauty again when i decided to read it again after many years. Its about Dracula, not the blood sucking vampire in Bram Stoker, rather, its the historical figure, Vlad Tepes. By the way, dracula meant son of dragon in romania and does not not have any satanic meaning as it was told by Stoker. Totally fascinated by that book, spent like straight 3 days with it and reading until 3am.
I think i'm in hot soup, with the soup at 600 degrees celcius. So far only finished like half of numerical methods tutorial and read 6 pages of econs notes for the whole holiday. And this week is like christmas week, wed and thurs got training and chalet and christmas shopping, haven't buy all the gifts yet, though i'm like quite broke now and mummy won't subsidise for gifts. Then friday is the king kong date ;) then christmas eve and christmas day. Big shit, how to finish everything. And there's the econs project. And christmas cards like half way done, and its so late already.
Haha, enough of me crapping, goodnight to everyone reading the blog of the most beautiful creature in the world. ;)

Today got netball christmas party at my house. Hahha, it was fun, laugh so much.
Watched white chicks and school of rock, though din get to complete the latter. Haha, 2 stupid shows, ha, but super funny. Then had pizza like AGAIN!
Oh yah! I learnt how to play bridge, like finally! Ha, thanks for explaining those stuff to me. Still a noob at it, cos not scheming enough. Haha, that's because, i'm so innocent and naive. Err...
Ha, then we drew lots and exchanged presents. haha, got Ade's gift, chocolates. Fattening!!! Frightening!!! Ha, but i will probably polish it off by the end of this week. Ha, mel also gave me a cute candy cane with a christmas tree on it. Extra present? Haha, She's sweet la. =) Ha, thought her snowman with the very funny message was ha, funny and the box from sonia was beautiful.
Coach came too, she's like quite friendly. haha, she dunno how to play bridge too, ha, so i'm not the only one. She's like so different from when she was teaching netball. She scared me, when on court, hollering at the college team, but wow, she's really genial off court and laughed a lot.
Whee, today was a great day, but i'm like super tired. Ha, though i like woke up at 12:30 today.
Haha, today huilin very funny. She messaged me to tell me that there's 4E2 and basketball chalet. Though she's not from E2 and basketball. Haha, and she knows which mrt station they are meeting at. Wow, wonder how she get those information. Yah, then, i like have quitted bball for so long already. Forced to. For a wont' say lousy, but disappointing 10 points.
Today didn't go for E2 chalet, going tomolo, ha, cos THAT'S the bbq night! haha, but got training tomolo leh. In a dilema. Should i pon training?
=)
Whee, went to celebrate grandma's birthday on sunday at the Esplanade. Totally cool. There's this group of blondes carolling there and they are really good. Then, there are some concert goers who are dressed up to the nines and ladies in bohemian clothes. Rad!
Oh yah, during dinner i pluck... or erm... rather, erm, what do you call ,erm, de-shell a prawn for grandma and told her its specially for her on her birthday. Wow, i'm like so super fillal. =)
Whoa, i'm like overeating this whole week. Okay, i admit i am. After dinner, we went to the V-tea room for coffee. Its specialises in tea (look at the name of the cafe, seriously). But the adults ordered coffee. The cousins bunch of course with loads of intellect and common sense ordered tea and hot cocca. Cos, despite loads of pursuasion, the adults just dun want to go to the Max breemer chocolate restaurant. And you can get coffee there too. Shucks! We wanna drink those melted cocca. Adults are just stubborn creatures.
I thought i'm supposed to book the bbq pit and not the function room. So its too late and the function room's booked by someone else. And its at such a short notice. Shucks, it would be fun. There's a christmas tree there and the billiard room is like right beside it and there's karaoke and the wide screen. I'm feeling very sorry. Its like being robbed of fun.

Went to watch The promise today. Its quite ok, but rather ridiculous and funny. That show is supposed to be tragic, i think, but think its a comedy. Quite arty and have lots of metaphors in it. Too much thinking involved for me at least. I dun use my brain at all while watching tv or a movie.
Can't wait for Wallace and Gromit. I've loved it since i was 8. Remembered watching its cartoons on tapes.
I'm in deep trouble. Had the holly jolly pizza for dinner yesterday then popcorn and truffles today. Its so delightfully sinful.
I shall run more tomolo.
I'm watching da chang jin again, for the 2nd time. Dunno why, just got hooked again.
Yeesshhh!! More tv. I love my tv.
The Korea Trip
About the korea trip, i shall try to upload some pics, though my com seems to be a little weird about it.
Well, i shall not bore people with day-to-day accounts of what happened to me on my holiday. Think it will bore you to tears. Ok, i'm being mean here, but I read someone's blog and she gave a day 1 to day 6 account of what she did including what she ate for dinner. So, erm... its a gets a tad irritating and boring la.
All right, i learned something on each holiday. Ha, that's what mommy thinks, each trip abroad should let xinyi and i learn new stuff, to broaden our horizons or this sort of stuff.
Anyway, things to be highlighted.
1. Kimchi to me sucks. Big time. And its staple food to the koreans. They must have it for every meal. But fortunately, kimchi serves as a side dish.
2. We got a Korean tourguide that speaks chinese so fluently that we mistook him to be taiwanese, well, he got that accent. But that's not the point, the point is, he is " Mr act Bae-yong-jun but can't make it". Ha, i'm not being critical, but the same hairstyle, the same pair of specs... err, too bad, the looks are miles apart.
There's another korean guy though, and he's quite shuaish.
3. We were having dinner at Jumbo seafood restaurant (the korean branch, i think) then there's this very large group of chinese kids erm, from china i mean, about 10 yrs old in the same restaurant. Then there's a piano by the side, after dinner and waiting for the rest, then a guy, he's 15, if i remember correctly, from the tour group, he went up to play tong hua on the piano. I think he wants to show off or something. and his mom was goading him on. Ok, he only knows the 1st verse and stopped. Kinda embarrasing, yeah? Then the tourguide asked who else in the grp knows, and haha, i pointed at xinyi. Lol. Ok, i saboed xinyi, but guess what, my mother, flesh and blood somemore, pointed at me and pushed me forward. Saboed by my own mom.
Errr... the only piece of non-classical piece i know is " the moon represent my heart". Its super embarrasing when you know that fact and forced to play smt supposedly astonishing and awe-inspiring in front of like 60 people.
I played it, but guess what? The chinese kids love this song, at least i think so, cos suddenly, all of them, about 40 i think and their teachers were singing, yes! singing as i played it on the piano. Ha, its kinda great, you know, the feeling of everybody appreciating what you are playing and singing to it. It was the most beautiful song i've ever heard. After i finished, there was applause and i dunno what to do next, so i just bowed la. Ha, more applause, ha, the some of the chinese kids went up tp perform as well. I sort of get how it feels to be a great performer and the applause is well, surreal.
4. I learnt how to ski. And, i'm the best skier in the whole tour group. Ha, maybe i'm boasting a little la, but hey, i learned all the basics and could kinda master them in an hour. Oh, then took the cable car up to the mountain (the beginner one la) and i skied down thrice without falling or anything. Quite pro right.
5. Do you know there exists an animal which is a hybrid of a lion and a tiger. I saw that creature, well, i dunno how to name it, but its got a lion for a dad and a tiger for a mom. Weird eh?
6. You know that painted mural in "stairway to heaven", that korean drama. Well, the real one is not of the same size as the one in tv and in my opinion, not as beautiful. Then we took the caurosel and take turns pretending to be jingshu and chengjun. Lol, so funny la. Ha, then bought the necklace that chengjun gave to jingshu and continue to act some more. Hahaha, funny la.
7. Am too tired to continue.
Au revior!

Too tired and too lazy to continue.

You are YUFFIE. You're very materialistic...or
should I say materia-listic?
What Final Fantasy VII character are you?
brought to you by Quizilla
| All American Kid |
Popular but not plastic. Athletic but not a jock. Smart but not a brain.
You were well rounded and well liked in high school. |
| Your Seduction Style: Au Natural |
You rank up there with your seduction skills, though you might not know it. That's because you're a natural at seduction. You don't realize your power! The root of your natural seduction power: your innocence and optimism.
You're the type of person who happily plays around and creates a unique little world. Little do you know that your personal paradise is so appealing that it sucks people in. You find joy in everything - so is it any surprise that people find joy in you?
You bring back the inner child in everyone you meet with your sincere and spontaneous ways. Your childlike (but not childish) behavior also inspires others to care for you. As a result, those who you befriend and date tend to be incredibly loyal to you. |
| You Are 50% Boyish and 50% Girlish |
You are pretty evenly split down the middle - a total eunuch. Okay, kidding about the eunuch part. But you do get along with both sexes. You reject traditional gender roles. However, you don't actively fight them. You're just you. You don't try to be what people expect you to be. |
| You Are The Opposite of Machiavellian |
You don't have a cynical, power hungry bone in your body. Honest and kind, you believe being a good person is the most important thing. While your upstanding morals should be admired, be careful! You're at risk for being manipulated and toyed with. |
