Valentines Dance

Tailor and I were sitting on the couch last night watching comedy Wed. It went on commercial and she looks and me and says, "there is a Valentines dance coming up but I don't have anyone to go with". I paused for a second and just laughed. I wasn't able to ask her what she was talking about because we were interupted, but I am going to ask her what she was talking about. She is in 1st grade, they don't have dances in 1st grade..... do they?

Update on Tailor 2012:

Tailor lost her first 2 teeth July 3 and July 4 I believe. They were back to back that's for sure. Then she lost 2 more teeth in December that happened a day apart as well. She is a happy go lucky outgoing little 7 year old. He likes to think she is picked on but I tell her all the time she has it easy! She enjoyes watching Netflix just as much as Koy so we now have it on both TV's so they don't have to fight over it. That leaves KC and I watching either Hannah Montana or Shaun the Sheep ** (lucky us).
Tailor was in Gymnastics for a few weeks and loved it. She attended the SARC program because I had won a free pass. She learned how to do an excellent kartwheel within those few times of attending and also was able to walk across the balance beam by herself.
I just love her. She is so fun to go shopping with and hanging out with. She is still my little side kick!
Tailor is still doing great in school. Her teacher Mrs. Ostler said she is a wonderful student and is very helpful to everyone. Her best friend at school is a gril name Cedar. At lunch they like to play on the monkey bars (she has more muscle in her arms than I do).
Work is going good. I love being busy and I love talking to students. When someone asks me if I like my job I respond by saying "well I really like being busy and right now Im not really busy". I don't know if that answers their question or not but I kind of have a love/ hate relationship with my job. My boss is really nice and if I need a day off or need to come in a little late he let's me.
I just finished my Master's Degree (MBA) through Stevens-Henager Collge. So now I am bound here for 2 years to "work it off". I hope when the 2 years is up I can find a wonderful job, or KC can, LOL.
We had a great Christmas holiday. I took 3 weeks off of work (I was sick 1 week before Christmas, that is why my vaca turned into a long one. Tailor was out of school for a week and a half and I really enjoyed just being home and playing with the kiddos.
There is 1 gift that is definitely worth reporting on that Tailor got for Christmas. Tailor has waited 3 years for this. She finally got a XL DSI! She was so excited to finally get one. She plays it all the time. I am not too proud but I guess proud enough to say I passed all the levels of her Gene game. I don't know the exact title but it is kind of like Mario Brothers. It was fun and stressfu, ya know the kind of stress that makes your palms sweat, but it was worth it!
I didn't experience the bitter cold until I went back to work the Monday after the new year. I would have been content just staying in the house for the rest of the winter but I knew that wasn't going to happen.
Koys enjoyments (age 2):
He loves his blue blanket that he has had since he was only a few months old. I bought it at walmart for only a few $'s and it has been his favorite. He calls it BLUE,
He throws tantrums by laying down on the ground with his face buried into the carpet,
He loves his milk with Pow Pow in it (miralax). He takes it for..... well ya know,
He loves roman noodles, he will eat them as a snack,
Whenever he receives a treat he makes sure TAY gets one too,
He loves Papee,
He enjoys watching Shaun the Sheep and already know how to control netflix with the wii remote,
He still sleeps in my bed because he is spoiled by his dad (Tailor never did this, she always slept in her own bed)
Koy wakes up in the morning asking to watch Shaun the Sheep
He says come here please
He likes to watch TV with KC at night
He loves to run up to me and hug my leg when I get home at night
He will tell us if TAY hit him
He likes to go into the bathroom, put his butt up to the toilet (with his clothes on), wipe his butt and flush the toilet,

Koy does so many funny things that i need to start writing them down so I won't forget. He is so fun to be with, I really enjoy having a little boy. He is so different from what Tailor was growing up. Koy is taking his steps slower (sleeping in a toddler bed, potty training, etc). He can count numbers in a row because Tailor likes to play school with him. I really likes tractors and trucks. He is ALL boy and I love it!
