Tailor

So I am at home watching Tailor get on the bus for her last day of school before Christmas break, and remembering all the things that make me so happy to be her mom. Tailor is the most giving little girl I have ever met, she is definitely not the most clean or the most well behaved girl but definitely the most giving.
When I watch her get on the bus everyl morning she always lets her friend get on first even if she is the first one at the door. Her friend just had tubes put in her ears this past week and so when she went over to visit her she gave her her little jingle bell she was given during her reading time at school, and I must menchan she lost her jingle bell off of her shoe at recess that she recieved for being able to tie her shoes, now I would have replaced the one that I lost on my shoe so my friends would I know that I could tie my shoes and that I was a member of the "Jingle Bell Club" ( she was givin a bell to put on her shoe last week because she was able to shoe her teacher that she could tie her shoes, and in doing so she became a member of the "Jingle Bell Club"), but instead she gave it to her friend who was not able to go to school the day they got their bells during reading.
I know that Tailor can drive me crazy and be a little pill MOST of the time at the age of 6 BUT when it comes to helping people out or making sure someone is happy she is number 1 on my list!

Tailor Started Kindergarten

Kasey and his little kids, I love all of them!!!! I also love that I am only holding the camera and not Koy:) He is getting the hang of multi-tasking.

Bye Tailor, see you when you get home (when I get off of work:)).

So my little Tailor is official in the groove of Kindergarten. She wakes up before me some mornings and asks me if she has missed the bus. She is so fun, cute, helpful and a daughter that I have always wanted.

Mr. Koy

Linus

Koy LOVES his blankee. He is 14 months and I will ask him where his blankee is and he will go find it either in the dinning room or his bedroom. He is so fun and so cute!

Cheater!!!!

I took Tailor for her Kindergarten assessment on Tuesday and lets just say I am not very poud of myself. Tailor was counting and she got stuck on 39 and I know she can count higher than that so I mouthed "40" and she said it and kept going. Man I think I need to have a time~out.

Birthday Boy!

In 11 Days Koy will be the big 1. I can't belive it has already been a year since Kasey and I went into the hospital to see if my Dr. could turn him (bc he was breech) and come to find out she could so he came that day!
I have enjoyed every minute of Koy and his happiness and a little bit of sadness. He is such a happy little guy.
He loves to be outside, He loves his blanket, He doesn't like it when I hold his head and kiss him, He loves medicine (when he needs it), He loves going into the bathroom, He loves taking baths, He loves going to Grandma's and Grandpa's, He likes being tickled, He loves mac n cheese and hotdogs, He loves his Bob the Builder toy Grandma and Grandpa Red gave him for Christmas, and he loves remote controls! There is not much this kid doesn't like.
He has 5 teeth, well the 5th is showing but not all the way out yet.
He is really good at going to bed a night.
He is a fast crawler, he likes to crawl away really fast as I go after him.
I could go on and on.............
I hope he keeps his happy go luck attitude after he turns 1.

Humpty Dumpty

Last night I was doing the dishes and Kasey was cleaning our stoop area by the kitchen when Koy was ready to take the dive onto his face down the stoop. I asked Tailor to please pick Koy up and set him down on the carpet buy the dinning table. So what does Tailor do, she picks him up and takes him to the carpet and instead of putting him down she re-adjusted him and he falls right out of her arms onto his nogen. I was fit to be tide (my Grandma taught me that). I went over there and I could not believe the anger I was feeling towards Tailor, I pickup up Koy and of course he was crying, then he wanted to fall asleep (which I knew he was tired anyways) but I knew he shouldn't sleep so Koy and I went over to Grandpa G's and had him give him a blessing.

It will be a miracle if I survive my 5 year old, she is such a wonderful little girl but also very 13ish..... need I say more.

sick...sick...and still sick

Koy started with a bad cough and then it sounded like it might be venturing into his lungs so we decided that this is a job for the Dr.! After going to to the Dr. and being on a Steroid, Amoxicilian, Clariton and Tylenol for 3 days he is still sick:(
My sickness started with just a cough and now it has turned into a runny nose, stuffy nose, and a bigger cough! We will get though this, I just got over my allergies for the season and now this. Come on....... give me a little brake.

4th of July weekend!

I LOVE the 4th of July weekend! I love to watch the Lewiston parade, go to the park and watch the horsepulls and the fireworks. I think this is such a wonderful holiday for all to enjoy.

Fun times!

Tailor always wants to do what Koy does so wonderful KC put her on his shoulder's so she could be like Koy.

My happy little baby boy!

My little model, she poses for the camera when ever she can. She is such a wonderful daughter and sister!

Top 3 teeth

Koy now has 5 teeth. I just hope he doesn't start biting.! He loves to stand up to everything, he will even take both hands off and pound them down like he is making music. I love summer time when he can just wear a diaper and nothing else, for one he doesn't get mad at me because I am not trying to put clothes on him and for another he is just so darn cute with just a diaper on! Koy also likes to shake his head no when he dances, and he does for a long time, I hope he isn't shaking his brain to much.

My little Man and two great people!

Koy is so stinkin fun and cute! He loves to smile and laugh. He is in the process of getting his two top teeth in so there is a lot of runny noses and a little bit of sad faces :(. Where I come home he just crawls as fast as he can to me so I will pick him up. He is to the point were he will pull himself up to things so he can stand. He never wants to sit, he wants to stand and walk while you hold his hands.
I love the age difference between Tailor and Koy. Tailor loves Koy so much that she will help out in any way she can (sometimes it can be a bit much). Koy loves Tailor, you can see it when she is playing with him and he has a big smile on his face.
I really appreciate Steven and Paulette for watching our two kids while we are working. They are the best! I know that when I am at work they are being loved and watched over so carefully and that makes the days go by so much better!
When I was growing up I always went to my Grandparents house and I loved it! My Grandpa and Grandma were great and they treated me like I was one of there children.

Tailor is like her Uncle Shawn, they both get great tans in the summer! (We use sunscreen as well)

Preschool Graduate

Tailor is sure going to miss Teacher Holly. She did so much for Tailor and I found out that she wasn't even the CRAZIEST kid in the class!!!!

Tailor played Little Miss Muffet for her graduation, she did so good!
We love you sweets!

My Little Man! He is almost 10 months and I just love him so much:0).

He loves to:

smile, laugh, chew on his finger, crawl everywhere, fake cry, try to escape from his crib, say Dadda, his sister, eat, and go to Grandma and Grandpa's.

He dislikes:

Pea's, clothes, bumb change, being held while he is ready for bed, confinment, hugs and harsh voices.

This and that

Of course the nice weather arrives when I need to go back to work. I looked out the window on Tuesday morning while I was fixing Koy a bottle and it was total blue sky,
I thought what the _____. No worries nice weather will be here soon enough and then KC will have to get out the swamp coolers and stick them in our windows!
Koy was suppose to be laying down in his crib for a little nap when Tailor came out and told me to come here. I looked in and he had himself proped up on the side of his crib almost ready to take the plung, what a MONKEY, he is going to walk before he gets the really crawling part down.
Last night Heidi B and I went on our first walk of the year! It was so nice outside, we took the kids and walked to the cemetary and back. Every morning when I go to work and it is a nice day I remember our daily walks that we took last year and it actually kind of ruins my day.... I had so much fun walking everyday last year and going and grabing a drink in Smithfield and sometimes going shopping in Logan with Heidi. Thanks for the wonderful memories!!!!

O......My......Goodness

So..... If Tailor was any messier I think I would have to sell her. My child is beyond messy, she is so unorganized that it can actually put me in a bad mood. We were looking for her blue flip flop for school today and while she was in the process of taking her shoes out of her purple crate to find it she knocked down two shirts and her robe that were hanging in her closet. We never did find her blue flip flop but it has to be some where. What makes her messiness worse is that her and Koy share the same room right now so before he goes to bed I need her to clean her room and her bed so when she goes to bed later we don't have to mess with a huge pile of crap that she put on her bed after she got home from Grandpa's house. O.k I know this is a lot of information cramed into one little paragraph but instead of going over ALL the details I though I would spare myself when I read this later.
If I could only tran her that putting things away right when she is finished with them is a LOT easier than putting them on her bed first and then putting them in their correct spot when mom and dad ask her to. Sometimes I don't even know why i try to organize her drawers, her room, her shoes, or her bookcase because within the week I know we are back to square one re-doing everything over again!
BUT I do have to say I love my little girl so much and I love who she is and who she will become, she is the little girl I always wanted (except for the mess)!

Official 9 months and 1 day

Wow my little Koy is already 9 months, I know it is a good thing that your kids grow up but it seems like they grow up to fast within the first year and then by the time they are 5 you just want them to be 8 so they know everything and can babysit for you when you want to go do something:)
Koy has the 'army crawl' down pat, he can get from one end of the room to the other within seconds. Has has always been such a happy baby, only cries if he is hungry, tired or poopy. NOW he is starting to be a little devil, he likes to fake cry almost all the time. Maybe he is always hungry or tired:).
I love being a mom. Last night Kasey was holding Koy and Koy reached out to me so I would hold him and then when Kasey wanted him back he wouldn't let go of my shirt..... I love it!!

Tailor is almost finished with Preschool, she will be done on May 26th. Teacher Holly has been so great to her, she has tought her so much and Tailor always says such nice things about her.

So... I must say work is going rather well. I do miss staying home with Tailor all summer and doing nothing but my word search sitting under a tree and letting her play with her friend everyday, but I need to come to terms that if I want to live in a house and have a car and food on the table work is not an option:). I wouldn't say anything exciting has happened lately. I wake up, feed Koy and Tailor, play, clean or watch TV until 9:30a.m. and then get ready for work. I go to work get home and if I am lucky Koy is still awake so I can change him, give him a bottle and hold him for a bit before I put him to bed. Then after Iget him to bed I play with Tailor or ya know... watch T.V. with her until bed time:) I remember last summer the TV never came on at our house. Tailor and I were either outside, visiting people or playing something.
I have to say life is good.... We better be done having kids because we don't need any more curve balls in our future:) (Everytime we have a baby something major always happens to one of us.)

Koy's story

So if you didn't know Koy was born with possitional feet (bilateral Clubed feet). We found out the same time we found out that he was a boy. Now of course I was worried that he wouldn't be normal and that I was going to deliver a baby that wouldn't be physicaly perfect, that is a lot of emotion and stress. After we were told Kasey and I just kept it to ourselves for a while just to let it soak in.

When Koy was born we could tell that he had (what I called ), Monkey Feet. His little feet formed like a little holding place for his bum.... Now if it wouldn't have been fixable I wouldn't have kept saying they were cute, but since they were I though his feet were so cute and so different.

He was our little bundle of boy that we wouldn't give back for nothing, not even for a boy with perfect feet!

Kasey and Tailor with Koy a couple of day's after we got home from the hospital.

Koy weighed 5 lbs 18 oz. It was funny, when I was texting people from the hospital right after I had him I was telling them he weighed 8lbs and everyone was texting back saying how big he was. I caught on a couple hours later:)

After two weeks of Koy being in this world he started going to Shrieners Hospital in SLC. This was his home away from home every week for 5 weeks. He didn't have to spend the night but when we were there the doctors they really cared about what was going on with him and gave him so much love and attention.

Koy had to get 5 different casts on each leg and then the last set he got stayed on for 3 whole weeks.

After the castings were done Koy got himself a new pair of shoes! (Pictures to come).

This child of mine is afraid of NOTHING!

This was actually this year 2011! Tailor was very sad that we rolled all the eggs down the hill easter Saturday. There was only one that we salvaged but it sat in the fridge for a week until I threw it away.
