So I started Facebook, but I don't understand why everyone is sooo into it yet. But I mainly decided because I had a few invites from a few friends to look at their pages so I guess I will wait and see what all the excitment is about.:)

Fried Ice Cream

I finally got the recipe that I have been waiting for (Thanks Melissa). I have told some of you about this and you requested a copy so here it is:)

No Frying-Fried Ice Cream

1/2 cup coconut (optional)
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 cups crushed corn flakes
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
1 cup butter

Mix the first three ingredients with the cup of melted butter.

Place 2/3 of the mix on a cookie sheet.
Spread the thawed ice cream over top.
Sprinkle the remainder of the mix on top

After it is placed in the freeze and frozen cut it into squares and pour Carmel topping on it and what ever else you like (whip cream, chocolate, cherry ect..)

Tailor Tailor Tailor.....

So first of all yes I know it has only been a week since I posted last but T has definitely out done herself lately on her communication skills.
Sunday we were ready to head out the door to Kasey's parent's for dinner when Tailor looked at me and said "mom, I don't think so" I said what sweets and she said "are you really wearing that?" as she points her finger to my thrown together outfit, consisting of a pair of red pants and a brown sweatshirt (I know very ugly but it was Sunday and who cares right). Kasey then said "thanks sweet heart I am glad you said it and not me".
Monday morning we were getting ready for work/school and I was in the bathroom putting mascara on and Kasey was in the bathroom getting dressed. Next thing I knew Tailor said "O my G** Dad......you are naked". I bust out laughing (and you know you have to get the mascara wand away from your eye before it is safe enough to move your head to much) and Kasey said "honey we don't use that word like that". I didn't hear anything until Kasey stormed into the bathroom shutting the door behind him and we looked at eachother and just bust up laughing.
She is our precious little angel.

Spring Break

So I have had a few requests for an update, so..... All I really have to say is I get Spring Break off and I hope to go somewhere where there is a Swimming Pool and Shops so Tailor, my mom and I can relax and go shopping.
It feels good to have Ashley and her fam back from their big va k, I will let her tell you about that one.
I am going to have a party in March, it is a www.lukels.com party. They have a lot of cute stuff so wait for the first week in March to order and put NIKI for the code . (I will re post this in march along with some pics and more info.
That is about all of my updates, I go to a job I really enjoy, go home and be a mom until 8:30 and then watch tv and go to bed. EXCEPT when Ash calls me to do something:)
If anyone has a recipe for Fried Ice Cream (without the deep fry part) please let me know (GINGER!!!), I tried it a few weekends ago and o my heck delicious;)

What we are up to

Things are going well in the Godfrey household. Tailor is loving dance/tap. She had a recital in December that was wonderful! We were all laughing, she is such a cheeser for cameras. Kasey is in school for at least the next two years. So far he is still happy because there isn't whole lot of stress with homework and tests. I am still working and I love my job. I just hope I will make it past the big layoff they are going to do within the next 6 months. It seems like when things are going great that is always a bump in the road for us, so we hope that we will keep our home a happy one and that I will not be effect by the layoffs. It scares me when I think what the world might be like when Tailor is ready to start working.
