Jackson Hole

So Kasey and I just celebrated our 5th anniversary in wonderful Jackson. (I am sorry, I forgot the camera:(. We had a condo at the Snow King Resort and it was very nice. The bathroom was HUGE with 9 foot doorways, two sinks, shower for 4, jetted tub, fireplace and many other amentedies. We stayed there for 2 nights and wanted to stay another but I figured I needed to get back to work since I already took Monday off for our getaway. T was with my mom at our house, we are very greatful that she was able to help us out with our getaway!
Tailor turned 3 in October, I really need to post pics but I am too lazy:( Anyways, she had a great time with all of her cusins (except for one who could not make it). Thank you all who came to her party and brought gifts. She is good to go in the toy department for a while:).
I really can not think of anything exciting to post: work, mom, work, mom, sleep, wife, work, mom. That is my life, but I do love it!

Life is good

So Tailor went out Tricker Treating last night and she had a GREAT Time!!! The only problem that I had was her asking people if their dad's were home or where there bedroom was. There are times that I feel pretty embarrassed by my child, and that was one. So I appologize for anyone who was uncomfortable by my child asking these types of questions:) Tailor was a Cat but a lot of people thought she was a bunny. O-well what is the difference right, she was dressed in a cute pink and white costume with a black nose and wiskers and a CAT TAIL! I will post some pictures in the future.

Seriously

So I had this whole post almost finished and it totally deleted on me. My heck what a way to start posting after a month or so:)
Here I go AGAIN.
Here is an update on my CrAzzzzy life. As many of you know I work full time, have an almost 3 year old and I am a wife:) so I must say it is very hard to keep up with posting. Yes I am making an excuse and I know a lot of you can as well so DO IT:)
Tailor is learning and growing up so fast it blows my mind. I love how she is so bright and that her personality is very OUT THERE:) I wonder where she got that from............Kasey????:)
Kasey is in early retirement right now. It is suppose to be temporary but I have not gotten up enough courage to ask him because I might not want to know the answer:) I must say he is not the avid hunter like he has been in the past few years. I can not believe we have almost been married for five years. Raise your hand if you are as surprised as I am :). I mean I love him soooo much but we seriously are not alike at ALL. The closest think we have in common is how much we love Tailor. Ok and a few more things, BUT we make it work and we love each other very much, if he says other wise let me know, he is an old man, I can take him.!!
Tailor has this song in her head and I am not sure where she got it from it goes "I like to move it, I like to move it, I like to move it, MOVE IT". That is what she says and it is so cute. If anyone is having a bad day and would like to rent her for a day let me know, she is pretty fun.
I hope everyone is doing well, I have looked for updates on a lot of your blogs and it seems that most of you are doing well.
I am very excited for the holiday season. Tailor is going to be a CAT! she is practicing her MEOW.... A LOT!!
O ya, I finally get to try my hand, or what ever I use, at BUNCO. Ashley finally has decided to let me in on this game (at least this week) with her friends. She reminded me yesterday that I am 5 years behind. I blame it all on her for sure:).
I really enjoy my job, I work with 2 wonderful ladies, I am the young one of the bunch of 3:) that sounds funny. I also work with a lot of students that are grateful for what the Center does for them. Grateful, what is that? If anyone is interested in helping with Plant a Pink Tulip day, which is Saturday October 11th it will be at the Logan River Golf Course from 10:00-12:00, it will be really fun, cold and for a great cause. You probably have seen it advertised in the Herald Journal or the statesman.
I must say by for now but if you are reading this thank you for being patient and checking my blog. I did say at one point I was going to update weekly and I did REALLY good for the first 2 weeks, I just need to get in that mind set again and update when Tailor is in bed:)
TA TA for now.

RULES:
-Link the person who tagged you
-List 6 of your quirks
-Tag 6 other bloggers by linking them
-List the rules on your blog

I am sure everyone has given up on reading my blog since it has been SOOO long since i have had anything new posted but I will do this anyways, for Ginger:)

Ginger Price tagged me so here I go:
List 6 of your quirks:
1. I re-arrange my decor on my desk at work constenly. I can not have them in the same place for very long at all.
2. I have a picture of Tailor hanging up by my computer in the office and I use the glare off of the glass as a mirror. Hey I am the front person at the Women's Center, I don't want anything on my face if someone walks in:)
3. I have a hard time sitting for very long. Wheither it is at home watching TV or at work, I just have to get up and move or I feel like I am going numb.
4. I am a germ freak, I have to clean Tailor's hands often when we are out in public. She has this habit of putting her fingers in her mouth lately so I have to constently reminder not to do that.
5. I love hanging out with friends but I never to because I always feel like I am too busy.
6. Tailor is always asking strangers questions and I instantly quiet her down and distract her so she won't ask anymore questions. She could seriously ask AT LEAST 10 questions to someone she doesn't even know within a 1 min. period.

I hope these are quirky enough for you.
I tag:

Olympics

So, I have been watching the Gymnastics, swimming, diving and Women's beach Vollyball (no not because of thier outfits:)) and I really enjoy them all EXCEPT Gymnastics. The reason why I say this is because I do not understand China and their Gymnasts. Non of them are of age (at least 16,everyone knows that) yet when there is a tie breaker China ALWAYS gets GOLD. Now seriously, why do people let this happen.......?

Puppies Galore

I can't leave out our temporary addition to our family!

Tailor has her first chore

So Tailor has her first chore, watering our Lilocs out by the ditch. Every time she does she gets $1.00. She is so cute, last time she watered them I think she got just as wet as the plants:)

My little helper

Tailor is sooo helpful, she is now helping me with the laundry. Now if I could just get Kasey to be helpful :)

Thanks Grandma Allred!

So Tailors FAVORITE shirt is her Indian's "T-shirt" she got from my mom from Ohio. Tailor calls it her T-shirt, she acts like it is the only t-shirt she has ever had, it is cute.

Tailor going through her "prizes" from CHICAGO

Tailor was so excited to get prizes from my trip to Chicago. I would talk to her every night on the phone and she would ask "did you find my prize yet?" and I would say "not yet honey, hopefully in a few days". That is what got her through me being gone I think. So I first went to the horrible gift shop in the hotel, my heck it was a Merriot, you would think they would have something decent. I found a few cheap (dumb) things but then we went to eat right next to a mall and one of my friends came with me to get T something out of American Greatings. I found her a T-shirt and a little yellow school bus that says Chicago (that was her favorite thing!). Chicago was pretty fun, I got to eat at really great places, try Chicago style pizza, get to know my co-workers better and laughed A LOT! The lady that I roomed with was GREAT! we would stay up until 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning just talking, that was the first time we ever really talked, it was great. It was work but it was fun work, the convention has huge and fun. We always went to the same place for lunch the whole time we were there, by the time we left the waiters all knew who we were and were very nice and good at their jobs. BUT I guess that was my last trip since I am no longer working at SEI starting August 25th. BUT I am ready to move on, I know I was only there for 6 months but that was long enough.

Tailor helping with the dishes

Paisley's party

I have a feeling I spelt her name wrong:( Anyways here are a few pics of her party that Tailor got to go to!

FINALLY!

I guess I can say finally for two things blogging and a NEW JOB!!! So I went in for an interview yesterday for a job with the University and I got a call today saying I got the position. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!!! I can not even belive it, I have been wanting a new job for SOOOOOOOOOOOO long and now finally I got one that I think I will really enjoy. I will be working at the Women's Center PLanning, Organizing, and a lot of other things. Ever since I worked at BRASC I just have this joy of helping people weither they have a disability or not and this is what I am doing, I am continuing to help people.! Plus the University has great benefits, great time off and a great atmosphere. The office is going to be great, there are three of us working together my desk is just across from my co-workers desk (I have nver had this before, I have had jobs that I am by myself either on a different level from everyone else or my office is doors down from any sign of humans). If you know me I am a very social person so I need this interaction to keep myself happy:). T has also received a different change of pace, she started a new daycare with A LOT more children than she is use to, but I dropped her off today and she was fine. The one thing she said was "they don't have their shoes off", because where she was before they kids always took their shoes off before entering the house.
I am hoping someday my parents will be closer so they can watch T for me while I am working because not having to pay for daycare would be a HUGE blessing, one which I had at one time, but also a pain because working and watching your child is also very difficult.
None the less I feel very happy, excited, speach less and overwhelmed with everything that I am going to be learning here in the near future. BUT I am always up for new things and this one I am definetly looking forwad to.
Pics of T coming soon.

Yes, we are still alive

O.k. so life is a little crazy lately but we are still good and alive. I will post about Chicago and how Tailor is doing HOPEFULLY in the near future. Thanks for checking!

Song selection, what do you think?????

So I found a song that I really like the beat of, it may not be the most apropriate song for some people but if I like a song I really don't care what the words are (unless it is out of this world cursing). Anyways I hope you don't mind the song, I know the first time I heard it (like ALL songs) I thought it was sooooo dumb but it has grown on me. ENJOY!!!

Trip time

O.k. so the time has finally come when I will be going to Chicago for a week and Tailor will be with my family. I hope we have fun and I hope Kasey is BORED out of his mind!!:) The reason why I say this is because I don't think Kasey is EVER bored, I think he would weed wack the whole yard before he ever got bored!
I hope I will have a lot of pics of Chicago when I come back, I have only been to the airport and let me tell you I am glad I wasn't by myself or I would have been lost and missed my flight, it is that crazy of an airport.

Pocahantas! What!?!?!

I can honestly say I have never seen this Movie. I just hate the song "have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon (is that what is says?)", I remember when I was going to USU I woke up to this song on my alarm clock radio and I had a "shitty" day so I don't understand why it says I am like her. It must be a mistake!

My Results!

PUPPIES FOR SALE!!

We will eventually be selling all of our little pups, so if you are interested in a short haired hunting dog then let me know. The parents are both Kasey's dogs and they are really good hunters so that should say a lot for the puppies. They are not going to be a lot because Kasey want to just get rid of them to a good home. Better reserve one if you want one. All proceedes will go to Tailors Piggy bank!:)

Fun in the SUN Saturday!

So I went to K-mart on Friday and decided to buy Tailor a new swimming pool since the one that she had was a one ringer and a little small. I found a Family sized one for a great deal and so Saturday morning after our walk we (as a family since it took all of us to figure it out and a little help from Bonnie), blew up the pool, filled it up with water and spend most of the day in it. We were all in it a few times out of the day. It was so fun, I think Kasey and I are going to enjoy it as much as Tailor will. Tailor and I even got in it after her nap on Sunday. GREAT Family fun for only $19.99.

New Temporary Addition to our Family

On Thursday morning Tailor and I got out of the house a little later than usual. I looked outside and I noticed that Britt was not out of her dog house but the other dogs were. My first though was she probably had her pups. Kasey happen to call and I menchaned Britt not being out to him and so he asked me to go and check on her, so I took Tailor out with me because I knew that she would want to see the baby pups first so I open the pen and sure enough 8 little pups laying in the dog house. WOW 8 pups, imagine having 8 babies, O.k. sorry for the pain I may have caused some of you. So I had to take some pics of the new Temporary Addition to our family.
How cute are they, Tailor was really excited to see the new baby pups she wanted to hold them right away.

What a ring!!!

It all started on December 27 2003 (my birthday), I woke up and was ready to go down to my parents and noticed that a diamond was missing from my ring, I was so irritated! So I took it back and told them and they of course sent it off and got a NEW diamond put in (My ring has/had an invisible setting). Lets see..... at least I went through this 5 more times until I finally told the store that my husband and I were not pleased and wanted something done about this. So about a month later (which would have been yesterday) I got my ring back and instead of an invisible setting it has a 1/2 carrot diamond in the middle. WOW what some great customer service, unfortunatly it took them that long and that many diamonds to realize my ring was definitely defective!! I really can not tell the diference except I know my ring is worth a lot more now and it still is VERY pretty! ( I will post a pic later!)

My Husband

Lately Kasey and I have been spending more and more time together, I know it is Golf season but we really have been spending time with Tailor and hanging out as a family more and I love it. He is so cute with Tailor and she loves to spend time with him. I really enjoy the moments that we are together as a family, even though they can be slim, they do exist.
Thank you for being so forgiving and patient with me, I know you do not ever read my blog, but I am sure word will get around:)

fun filled weekend

So we had a really fun weekend, it was Pony Express Day once again in good old Clarkston Utah. I was at the park by 9:00 helping with the coke booth (thanks to my mother-in-law;)) and Tailor and Kasey came over around 11:00 for the Parade! Tailor loved the parade because she got tons and tons of candy. Everyone was throwing candy at her and she was the only kid around where we were at. So she filled her dad's pockets until she could not put any more in and we shared the rest with the other kids that we saw about 20 feet away.
Later the Fire Truck started spraying water on the field and so Tailor, with her swim suit on and a little push from mommy, ran out into the middle and totaly bift it, she started crying (and she is not a crier) so I had to run out and get her and carry her to "safety". It was so funny because after that she kept saying "lets get out of here" and wanting to be held. Kasey and I were sitting pretty far away from the action until the action decided to come to us, the water kept getting closer and closer until Kasey and I were soked like Tailor. I loved it because as the water was getting us Kasey looked over and said "it felt good at first" with a shakky voice. We both laughed and got up and moved after about the third time of it reaching us.
Tailor ended up not taking a nap because we didn't want her to miss out on any fun and so we later ate dinner at the park and listened to a band until 11:00 and even then Tailor was running around like she did that morning when she woke up, she would not wear down.
What a fun filled day!

WHAT THE HECK IS THAT??

O.k. so I was looking at the picture that I posted of Kasey cooking dinner and I saw the WONDERFUL(NOT) light was in there. Yes...that thing, it is a lamp shaped like a Golf Club...WhAt ThE.... Kasey does not have many items that are JUST his in the house because of this reason!
Now I have to pay tribute to a long time decor of his.....his elk head...I think that's what it WAS, until I accidently broke it. I felt really bad, I was moving something off of a shelf and I didn't see it there and i knocked it right off onto our basement floor. I did try to find an identical one just like it but they are no where to be found. I searched the net and even called a few places. I offered to buy him a different one for Valentine's Day, but he didn't want another one (that made me feel REALLY bad because I could not fix my mistake). I guess it was a limited edition and he really like it. Sorry hunny.

My little girl is growing up!

These are some cute pictures taken of Tailor before we left for the day.

O my heck, I look at Tailor in these pictures and she looks like she is ready to go to school.

Happy Fathers Day Daddy

Yes, he gladly had his picture taken with his little girl on Father's Day, I was suprised how easy it was to get a picture of him.

The differences between Kasey and I PART: 1

O... and there are many, BUT I thought I would highlight the difference that we have most reacently spoke about. Kasey and I were laying in Bed one night this week just talking about the day and I told him how the day before I had a coupon to McDonlads for a free Chicken sandwich (he of course knew what I was talking about because he gave it to me). I told him that I handed it to the girl at the first window and she looked at it and then asked for my debit card I was holding in my hand. Well you all know how McDonalds works, you do not get a receipt until the 2ND window. So I went to the 2nd window got my food and went back to work. I opened my bag and looked for the receipt and there it was.... FULL PRICE for this chicken sandwinch, might I add this sandwinch is regularly over $3.00 and I would NEVER pay that at McDonalds or hardly any where else. So I told Kasey that I called McDonald's and told them the situation and they gave me a few options and I choose to have a credit at that particular McDonalds. So the next day (the day Kasey and I were laying in bed talking) I went back and got a Value Meal (because that is what the guy gave me, not just a sandwinch) and told them I had a credit. So I got my meal and went to work and ate it. I told Kasey this and he almost didn't even want to be married to me I felt. Kasey said he would NEVER do anything like that, he would never go back to the same resturant if he did that. As I on the other hand like to get what I want, if something is wrong I will tell them (especially if it is costing me more money, I HATE spending money on food as it is). So I go to great lenghts to save money while my husband......
Next story, I am the type of person who looks for deals. I think 95% of what I purchase is on sale because I don't know how people do it any other way, I am just use to it I guess, my parents weren't this way, if they wanted something they would buy it so I don't know where I learned this........O ya COLLEGE, that is were, I forgot. I will got through a drive through and order a sandwinch and then go to a gas station that is 4 blocks away just to save maybe 30 cents on a drink. This is quite comical to me as well but it is habbit. Kasey on the other hand would NEVER do this.
I went back to Old Navy one time because I bought Tailor some clothes and a about a week later they had ALL of there kids clothes 40% off, so I took in the receipt and saved almost $80 more. Kasey wouldnt' be caught doing this one either. Anyways if you need any advise on how to save money let me know, I am known for finding GREAT deals. (right Jann!)

Forgot to tag. Ooops!

So I thought I was finished blogging for the day UNTIL Janette reminded me to tag other people.O my heck who has not been tagged??? Ummm... I tag Cami G., Katie G. and Bonnie M.(if she looks at my blog any time soon:)) If you guys have already been taged then I am sorry. :)

Guess what???

Yes, I am going to make my blog unseen by people who I don't want to be seeing it. SO.... you know what that means, send me your e-mail address and I will make sure you have access to my exciting life!!!:) I am very interested in seeing how many people will do this, I assume there are not a lot of people who read my blog so I guess I will see if my assumptions are true.
Thanks!!!

BEING GRATETFUL

So lately I have been having a PITTY PARTY for myself trying to decide what I want to do with my life. I am working a job that I really have to admit is not my "cup of tea", the best part about my day is when the clock turns 5 and I can go and pick up Tailor, then as we all no our jobs do not end if we are off the clock picking up our children. (Husbands think that it does, but we know better) So we go home and get something for dinner, usually turn on Dora (she is allowed to watch Dora once before she goes to bed), then we play, talk and go to bed, ALL so we can wake up in the morning and do it again. Lately Tailor is waking up, getting ready for the day and saying "I want to stay home", how is THAT suppose to make me feel. I have ALWAYS thought I would get married (after college) find a job that I love doing and have a family. Right now I am married, (after college) have a family that I love and I HATE the job I am doing. So....... where do I go from here. As all of you well know Kasey and I have not had the best luck with jobs since we have been married, Kasey was layed off for almost a year, I was out of a job for a few months and now he is getting layed off again. WHY!! I don't understand why WE have to have such troubled times. BUT I understand we do not have it THAT bad, we both have a family who cares about us and a child that we love more than we ever thought we could love someone, so life couldn't be THAT bad right?.
Here is the point of my post today, I was talking to my mom the other day about how I have a degree BUT no one cares. She said never regret getting your degree, even though you might not see results now you will later. O.k. so that made sense to me a little but what do I do until later. Now, I have had experience in a lot of areas, I haven't had many jobs but the jobs that I have had has given me experience in a lot of different areas. SO.... why when I apply for a job that I know I could do and probably would love I don't get an interview????? I try to tell myself there was a reason why I didn't get the job, but come on how many times can I keep telling myself that REALLY. Logan is a growing place but LIMITED on job opportunity. It doesn't make sense but it is true, a growing place but not jobs??? hmmmmm, that is pretty much impossible. Maybe I am looking in the wrong places, maybe I need to look somewhere besides the HJNEWS.COM an DWFS, any other ideas???
So the part about being grateful is, I need to remember that I do have a family that loves me, I can afford my bills and I have a child that I absolutely adore and have a good friendship with and a husband that would do anything for me. I guess maybe the old saying is true a "water never boils if you watch it"..... how does that go again? I mean maybe if I don't hope I find a new job EVERYDAY then maybe I will find one. I will try that and see what happens!

O.K. SO I HAVE BEEN TAGGED: HERE WE GO

The NEW cook

So I came home yesterday and to my surprise my dear hubby was cooking dinner for us. It wasn't in the micro and not just out of a box, well ok part of it was out of a box. He cooked us Turkey steaks and Mac and Cheese, it was really good, I wish he would cook more often BUT I will settle for every once in a while:)
Thank you hunny!
I had to sneek a couple of pics so they aren't the best but they definalty show that he was the COOK! Plus if he found out they are on here he would not be to happy so keep it quiet, don't let him know that he is on my blog:)

My boring blog

I just want everyone to know how sick I am of my boring blog, I can not get Adobe Flash to work on my computer at home and so I can not get a cute set up like EVERYONE else has besides me. So sorry if you are sick of seeing the same old, I will try to get Adobe some how.

"You are my sunshine"

Tailor and I have a song it is "YOu are my sunshine", this is Tailor's version:
"You are my sunshine, my sunshine, you make me happeeee, when sky's are GREAT, you never know dearrrrr, how much I love you , don't take my sunshine away". She is sooo cute when she sings it, I love to listen to her. The other morning Tailor came walking out of her room holding her 3 babies singing "You are my sunshine" to them, it was soooo cute I had to smile and give her a BIG squeeze. She can be so caring and so sweet to her babies at times and then sometimes she will look at her baby and hit her in the head (I promise I do not do this to her, I don't know where she learned it from). Also Tailor just received a Dora Umbrella courtesy of her dad. It is the most annoying object she ownes, sometimes I just want to hide it, and she just got it on Saturday, o boy I am in for a long few weeks until she gets tired of it.
Another thing about Kasey, Tailor has got him trained. She will ask for something and her will buy if for her. She has him wrapped around her BIG finger for sure. We were leaving Walmart on Saturday and he said, remind me to never take Tailor shopping, I can not help but to buy her what she wants, I just laughed.

Maybe I am wrong

O.K. so I just put the new pics up of Tailor and Paityn and they actually look a little alike, more than I thought.

Family

So Kasey, Tailor and I went down to my parents for a few days last week and Tailor was able to play with her cousin Paityn who will be 1 this month (she is her only cousin on the Allred side). They had a lot of fun together, Tailor likes to act like a "mom", she wanted to walk with her, bring her toys, give her drinks and feed her. All I can say is if we ever have another child we need to watch Tailor VERY closely because she would just love it to death!
Above are some cute pics that I took of Tailor and Paityn. Tailor looks like the Allred/Godfrey side and Paityn looks like the Davis/Neilson side, so they do not look alike AT ALL, but they are both super cute!!!

I miss my baby

O.K. so I have to addmit that I use to LOVE when my parents took Tailor for a bit so I could get some ME time, BUT I miss her terribly. She is my Friend, my shadow, my heart and most of all my ONLY baby. I haven't been enjoying my time as much as I usually do because all I can think about it how much FUN she is having without me. I talk to her every night and all she wants to do is go and play some more and NOT talk to me. O my heck she is growing up....She doesn't miss her mommy!? That is crazy!! O well soon she will be home and my parents will have their turn of missing her like crazy and then they will want her back, but this time they might have to beg a little bit harder:)
Just kidding, thank you mom and dad (and sissy) for taking care of my girl so I can have some me time, I am very lucky for that and I love you both. I think my problem is that I have a way boring life without Tailor so when she is not around I am BORED! BUT I still appreciate your helpfulness and you know you can see her anytime you want:)

Funny sayings of Tailor Rae

I thought it would be fun to share some sayings that Tailor likes to use

1- "Don't say that, that is weird weird weird"

2- "My mom drives me nuts"

3- "How are you doing today?"

4- "guess what?"

5- "I love you too much"

6- "I make CUPCAKES!!"

The funny thing is when she says number 2 she puts her head in her hands and on number 6 she says that All the time lately and we have not made any cupcakes (maybe she makes them at Bonnies?).

On her way to Grandmas house

Well today Tailor packed her bags and headed to Grandma's house. Tailor loves to see her grandma Allred and her Papa (don't forget Sissy bug). My mom asked me if she could have Tailor for a week because her and Papa haven't really got to see her since Christmas, at first I was kind of not sure about the idea because Tailor is really becoming a fun little 2 1/2 year old, BUT I know that they love to see her and so I said that would be fine. So Tailor and I headed to SLC today to meet them at IKEA (which I must say is a VERY fun store, it was my first time). We shopped around for a while (my mom and I can shop for HOURS together), what we purchased was placed in the basket the first 10 min. we were in the store. So after our little tour around IKEA we departed. Tailor was really excited and I was ready to say never mind put the car seat back in my car, BUT once again I know she is in good hands and she loves her grandma and Papa. The funny thing is my parents have taken Tailor a few times before and I have got to relax and just take care of myself and be with Kasey one on one again and not even think twice. I am very greatful that my parents help Kasey and I so much, they understand that it is a good thing to be able to spend time alone again (even thought Kasey is a wonder bug most of the time, but he does try to spend time with me when we have the opportunity).
So we will see what this weekend and the next week will bring, I know Tailor will be having a great time and so that means I should too.
Love you Tailor Rae see you in a few days XOXOX

Fun WeeKend

Last weekend Tailor and I spent a lot of time in the yard. We weeded the front area of or yard and then we mowed the lawn as a family. Tailor of course took a few breaks to swing on the swing and to smell our one and only Tulip, which later got weedwacked by my dear husband, O well it wasn't that pretty anyways( poor Tulip!). In the pictures you see Tailor with a pair of ear muffs on (hunting ear muffs) and a pair of glasses, this is her lawn mowing gear. I just had to take a picture because I thought she looked so silly, her cheeks were mushed to the front of her face.

ImaGinaTioN MakEs Mom GO CrAZy

O.k. so Tailor and I were driving home tonight just trying to dodge cars in Smithfield (what a crazy site, what in the heck can they be doing now?). Anyways were our of Smithfield (FINALLY) and Tailor was imagining that she had some baby birds in her hand, she kept handing one by one over to me to hold and she told he they were sick. So hear I am cupping my hand for each little bird she was handing over to me making sure they would not fall out (Yes we were pretending and I was making sure they don't fall out of my hand), so Tailor wanted to keep handing me more birds and then she wanted me to hold a piece of paper, I started getting frustrated because in my mind I thought "how am I going to hold ALL of these birds and a piece of paper in my hand with out dropping any of them". SO I finally got irritated at her and threw the birds on the seat and told her I could not hold them any more. (O My Heck can we say REALITY CHECk!) After I did that I thought to myself, " this is a game not real life", I did loose it for a moment and then I collected myself and went on with our drive and her little imaginary birds. Let me tell ya after a LONG day at work and a 2 1/2 year old talking non stop for a 30 min. on our drive home can be a little irritating at times. But I miss her when I am not with her and I wish for a little bit more peice and quiet when I am with her, so I try to get a little piece and quiet at work and prepare myself for the LONG drive home.

Our little Golfer

O boy I think we might have a little golfer on our hands. Kasey was teaching Tailor how to hit the golf ball a couple of weekends ago and she could actually get some air with the ball. She looked so cute out on the lawn with Kasey standing behind her holding the club, I just had to get a picture.

Zoo 2008

My mom,Tailor and I decided to take another trip to the zoo on mother's Day weekend. We have so much fun going that we are making it an annual trip. My mom and I use to go with my Aunt and her two kids every year and so now we are going to go with Tailor now every year.
Tailor LOVES to see the animals, I feel bad because she could look at one animal for an hour and when I go to the zoo I like to see ALL the animals. So I have to tell her there "Lets go, Lets go" a million times so we can TRY to see all of them. This year we did really good, we were able to see all of them except for the Lions, does anyone know if there were any lions?
On our way there, I have to say my mom and I got lost. We were in two seperate vehicles which made it worse, BUT the good thing was I didn't have to bite my tongue when I was mad because Tailor was with her. At one point I was on 1-80 EAst on the belt route instead of taking the turn off to Foothill Dr. and at one point my mom was on the road going to Park City (which wouldn't have been a bad alternative). Then we both had to call my brother to ask him for directions, by the time I called him after my mom finished talking with him he just laughed when he knew I was calling. I think he thought we were in the same vehicle and wondering why I would call right after mom called.
BUT we finally made it and we had a great time. After the zoo we went to the Sheraton where we stayed for the night and let me tell you the fun did not end at the zoo. I turned on 500 S going East and if you know Salt Lake, 500 East is a one way street going West, so I had to hurry and drive into a parking lot and turn around still looking like I knew what I was doing (I hate feeling like an idiot and I definately felt like one at that point). So my mom and I finally made it to our hotel where Tailor and I went swimming in the hot tub, we didn't last very long because for one thing she should not have been in there and another it was way too hot for both of us.
It was so cute, later that night we met up with my other brother at the hotel and it was pretty late so I had Tailor laying by me trying to get her to go to sleep, which wasn't to hard considering she didn't have a nap that day and she was ready for bed. When my brother was talking to my mom Tailor sat up and said "Be Quiet I am sleeping". It was so funny because my brother looked at her so serious and said "No you go to sleep", my mom and I thought Tailor was going to start crying because my brother is a built guy and someone that you would think Tailor would be afraid of but NO she kept telling him to be quiet and he kept telling her to go to sleep, it was soooo funny and very cute! They also had fun joking around with each other the next day. He is really cute with her even though kids are not his top priority in life.

Grandma and Tailor at the zoo eating lunch.

This is my sweet little child waiting her turn for the face painting lady. It was really nice to see her sitting down all quiet, very rare

Tailor was lucky and got her CRAZY face. She saw some kids with their faces painted and that is what she called it

This is Tailor enjoying her FREE ice cream!!

The last animal we saw at the zoo was the White Aligator, it was pretty neat, a little freeky but neat:o

We ate at the Hard Rock Cafe, we had nacho's Yummy!!

Etsy.com

I think this is the cutest hat, I found it on Etsy.com. Most of the items on there are handmade or vintage. This is a great place if you want to find the word saying's for you wall because you can find them(depending on the seller) half price for what you would pay in Sugar and Spice. So if you make things and you want to sell them I would try this website because you can make your own store and they only charge you $.20 per item you list.

What a weekend!

This weekend was GREAT! Tailor and I played at the playground and in our backyard for a lot of the weekend because it was sooo nice and I was able to get a lot of house stuff done as well so it was a well balanced weekend. I love spending time with Tailor outside, she is so curious and she is just so fun to play with and watch grow up and start to do things that she use to not be able to do. She also says the funniest things that I don't even know where she learned to say such things, except for dork, jerk, and rude, I must say she did learned those words from me but they have never been for her, only her dad:).LOL
Sat. night Kasey and I went out with Cody and Ashley and we had a great time (right?). We went to Callaways and then we went and saw "drillbit taylor" it was a pretty funny show, at first I was kind of bored because it didn't start out to funny (in my opinion) but as it went on it ended up being a pretty funny show. thanks for the fun night guys!
