February is ALMOST over!

Is it just me or has this year been totally flying?! I can't believe that we are almost into March! That is so crazy, but I'm not really complaining-we are getting closer and closer to summertime!
I figured it has been a little while since I posted last. I thought I would update on what has been going on! So, here goes nothin'!
I just finished my second week of work. I love it! I love the people that I am training with and everyone else I have met outside of training are so nice! I think that this will be a great job and I'm so excited to go to work everyday! Especially Friday! Why, Friday? While we are in training, we have Food Friday. Every person brings in some food and we eat all day! It is awesome and there is always a different type of food that is so delicious! For example, yesterday there was pistachio pudding. I have never had that, but it was pretty dang good!
So, yesterday was the first day that we actually got on the phone. I was so nervous! I have never worked in a call center environment, so it was really scary! I did good! My first call I approved someone for their card and got them signed up for payment protection.
Sidenote:: I have always thought that payment protection and other stuff that company's try to sell to you is such a waste of money. In reality, these things have a lot to offer! There is so much to offer with payment protection in particular. Anyway, that is my tangent.
So, this past Thursday I was able to go to play some basketball. The week before that the game was at 7 and I get off work at 8, so I couldn't go. This time it was at 9! I was so happy! I have forgotten how much I love to play sports! It is so much fun and I have gotten to get to know women in my ward so well! They are awesome. I'm excited for summer because we will play softball! I have never played that, but I will be out on the field playing either way! Also, I want to run at least a 5k this summer. I think it would be amazing. Those are my thoughts when it comes to exercising/fun sports and stuff. I haven't been up to too much else! I am just loving life! It has been snowing here in Utah all day. I wish it would stop. I want summer to hurry and get here! I'm ready to play outside and enjoy the warm sun! One thing I really want to do this summer is go ride a bunch of roller coasters. I have Lagoon here in Utah, but compared to Six Flags it is kind of lame. I will take what I can get though! Also, Kelsey and I have been talking about going to Disneyland! Well, whichever Disney place is in California. I'm really excited about that because that means I get to go to the beach as well. I haven't been to the beach in who knows how long! So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed on that one. However, if that does happen I will be sure to take plenty of pictures!
Well, I got a little bored earlier today. I decided to post some pictures! haha. I truly hope everyone is doing well and having fun! I'm sure there will be more to come and hopefully it will be a little more exciting than this, but I'm not making any promises!! :)

Job Hunt...OVER!

Great news! I got a job! I am a Credit Analyst at Discover Financial Services! Basically, I am going to be calling people who have applied for a card with Discover. If they are approved I will talk to them about their card and the benefits, but if they are declined I will let them know and maybe share some other options. I start training on Monday, February 14th *Happy Valentine's Day to me!* I am so excited! I think it is a great opportunity and I am ecstatic to learn more and keep myself busy! More posts coming soon! :)

City Lights

I know, many are thinking what is going on!? I am posting yet another post! haha. Don't you worry! I told you I was starting to do better. Whether it is about nothing or not! :)
I don't know if some of you know this about me, but I absolutely LOVE city lights at night!! Tonight, Kelsey and I went on a drive in search of some things at the store. We decided after we were done that we were going to go see city lights. We went on a drive up by the Draper Temple if some of you know where that is and looked at the city lights below. It was BEAUTIFUL. I seem to forget sometimes how much I love them and how I can just clear my mind and think of all the things in my life that I need to. I can just relax and think of what I want in my life instead of what troubles me or has been driving me crazy any other time! It makes me so happy! Especially when you have great music to listen to as well. Secondhand Serenade was playing while I thought and looked at the city lights and the many LDS Temples from a distance. One of the many nights I will remember about Utah. What a great start to the break! I found this picture, but it doesn't give anything justice. Great thing is...it is Utah! Enjoy.

Happy New Year!

I know I owe a better post than the last. I updated my cool blog and it is pretty cool I think. Anyway, I am currently looking for a job! I took a test this morning to maybe do data entry for the post office. I was really excited when it came to the math section of the test. It gave me 7 minutes to do like 20 questions, but guess what? I FINISHED IT IN 2 MINUTES! Man, I realized how much I just love math! I could be a math teacher, but maybe I will stick to accounting for now. It was not too bad, but hopefully I did well on it! I have a job interview on Monday for a receptionist position. I'm excited for that and I hope I do well!! I'm getting a little nervous. :/
So, I haven't been up to too much lately. Just trying to keep busy so I don't get too bored. I live in South Jordan, Utah with the Dupin family. They lived in Memphis a while back, so if anyone remembers them...I live with them! It is a lot of fun and I love them all soo much! I miss my family every once in a while, but I enjoy living here as well.
I got into this book series. It's called "The Hunger Games". THESE BOOKS ARE SO GOOD! If you are looking for something good to read, get them! I just finished the first book today in the series of three. When you read the summary it is going to sound weird and not interest, but you have to read at least 5 chapters. The first 4 are a little boring, but once you get further they are awesome!
I'm trying to think of what else...HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE! That is a little late, but I think this is going to be a great year. I love it! I can't believe it is 2011! I remember when the year 2000 was coming. I was scared of the Y2K bugs! Do y'all remember them? I surely do.

Some are probably wondering where is this blog even coming from!? Yeah. I haven't posted in a REALLY REALLY long time. Therefore, I decided it is time to post.
I think I want to redo this blog. Meaning...it will be under construction sometime soon.
I live in Utah now. Nope, didn't go home to Tennessee. I am having fun so far!
That is all really. I haven't been up to too much lately.
As for school, I finished the hardest semester that I will probably have! IT FEELS SO GOOD TO BE DONE WITH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
