Well, it's been a long time since we've posted, so I thought I would catch up for the last couple of weekends. Jordan has been taking the kids fishing, we've done a trail ride, and a beautiful hike. It's been great living by all these canyons and enjoying the beautiful spring, if it would stop snaowing every other day.
These first few are from our hike in Diamond Fork Canyon yesterday. We tried to make it to the hot springs, but it took too long and the kids were getting hungry. We'll try again in a few weeks.
Emery always has to strike a pose.
Graham looks so excited for this.
Livi loves to go on hikes. She didn't whine once. She's the only one.

Weekend Trip in Houston
A few weekends ago, we drove to Houston to visit my brother's family. We had a great time. Giff and Brian rented some kayaks and went fishing in the bay of Galveston. They had a great time even though it was a little windy. Giff was the only one who caught a fish out of the six boys that went. He was pretty proud. While the boys went fishing Jackie and I went shopping at a flea market and then went to the Galleria mall. Shopping at the flea market was so fun and really hilarious. Our New York experience helped us prepare to barter and we ended up getting knock off Tiffany's rings and a Chanel purse for really cheap. I also got Giff a Louis Vouton wallet which he was very excited about, if you know Giff at all. :) We all had some yummy BBQ there and on Sunday we drove over to the Houston temple Giff and I were married in. All in all, we had a great weekend and can't wait to do it again. Here are a few pics from the fishing trip. These are the few houses that made it through the hurricane a few months ago in this area.
Giff used his resources and constructed his homeade anchor. He found some random left over stuff from the houses that were collapsed.

Brian and Giff just before they jumped in their kayaks. In this spot, the little building behind the boys was the only thing that made it (in that particular area) and it actually was still functioning as a little restaurant. Crazy!
