Sleep? What's that?

Lately Jaden has not been the sleeping angel we've enjoyed for six months. This last week or two, he has decided that it's fun to wake up during the night a few times and play. Needless to say, we haven't quite enjoyed our sleep either. I think the nielson babies have some problems. Just kidding. Anyways, he was supposed to be sleeping and I went in his room this morning and he was having a ball. I thought it was kind of funny so I took a few pictures.

7 1/2 Months Now

Jaden is about 7 1/2 months now and growing bigger and stronger. We can hardly hold him any longer. He is clapping now, saying dada and mama, and we think a tooth might be coming pretty soon here. We had quite a scare on Superbowl Sunday when we had to take Jaden to the hospital with a 103temp. He ended up having brochitis and possibly a little of RSV. He ended up getting over it and is now a happy camper again. I guess we're just worried new parents. We are having a great time with him though. We are especially excited he has a cousin here in town now. I think they look pretty similar and they share the same middle name. I'm guessing Kendyl and Jaden will have a pretty neat bond. Congrats to Cody and Kendra! We are so happy for y'all!!

January Texas Trip

After the game!!

We went to Texas at the beginning of January and had a great time going to the San Antonio Temple and a UT basketball game (even though we were in the nose bleeds). It was nice to be in some warm weather. We thought Jaden would freak out with the noise level at the game, but he was loving it. We had a great time shopping, traveling, and spending time with the Hollingsworth family.

Calling All Moms

Ok all you mothers out there, and I know most of you looking at this are, I need some help with a sleepless child. Don't get me wrong, she isn't awake all of the time, I just can't seem to get her to stay asleep very long at nap time and she still wakes to eat during the night or just to be awake. She doesn't seem to follow the rules in the books like my other two did, so I could really use some tried and true suggestions. Olivia does great at putting herself to sleep in her crib for nap time and bed time, but she always seem to wake at very random times either to eat (wich is usually the case) or just to jabber for awhile. You all know that she's a big baby and I know she is more than capable of sleeping through the night without eating and she has done it several times during her short life. Does anyone know of any other methods to try besides just letting them cry it out all night long. I know that is what we will probably have to do, but I REALLY don't look forward to it in the least bit. There's got to be anther way, so if you could take a minute and give me some suggestions, I would really appreciate it.
