Olivia comes home in her clown suit. It's a tradition for our children for them to come home from the hospital in this fun outfit. Thanks to Ellen who gave it to us when Graham was born.

Olivia Nielson

Here she is at the hospital. Can't wait for you all to meet her.

Olivia Nielson

Well, I guess I really didn't have that much longer to wait. We had our little butter ball, Olivia on Wednesday the 19th of September. She was born at 7:21 pm after about 3 and 1/2 hours of labor and all was well. She weighed 10 pounds even and was 21 inches long. Yah, I can't believe it either. I'm glad that she was a week early is all I can say. She has all fingers and toes and collar bones, too. She is in perfect health and for that we are very grateful. Graham and Emery are very excited to have a new little sister and are very concerned for her well being. We are all doing good apart from being very sleep deprived. She is a good baby, but like the other too, has a gassy tummy so she can get a little fussy. Being a big girl, she has a big appetite, so she thinks she needs to eat all the time. We're working on that one. She was named after her Great Grandfather Oliver Lavern Nielson. I'm sure she'll make him proud.

Waiting

Well, we are still waiting for our baby girl to make an entrance into this world and wishing it would be much sooner than later. We officially have one week left from today, but it may be sooner according to what the doctor says. I've been measuring at 40 weeks since last doctor visit so we may need to get her here sooner. We'll see what he says tomorrow. We are anxious with every ache and pain and contraction. We've been on a few long walks but to no avail, just more painful muscles. I would post a picture of myself, but I've become a little self conscious about how far my belly sticks out. It's a little freakish. Well, we'll post pictures and news as soon as she gets here.

Fish, Friends, Fun!

We decided to make the most of a Saturday so we went fishing with friends. We had a successful fishing trip, but the hornets were out of control. I was stung once, Graham got stung once and our friend Michelle got stung twice. They were swarming out of control the whole time so we just ran around them until we couldn't stand it anymore. Jordan helped the kids fish and they cought quite a few. Emery caught her first fish and her friends Carlie and Ashlynn also caught fish. After trying a few times with spinners, we figured out the best bait was good old night crawlers. They were reeling them in right and left. The kids had a good time. We took our friends the Parsons and the Perrys. We're very fortunate to have a lot of good friends up here with lots of kids for Graham and Emery to play with. Graham caught one all on his own, did the cast the set and the reel in with no help. Needless to say, Jordan is one proud papa.

Luke is Six Months old

Luke turned six months old this week, so Me and Jenn took him to get his first professional pictures taken. We also got some of all of us.
We took his favorite stuffed animal to make him smile, but the photographer thought it would be a good idea to take some with the gorilla. We call it his girlfriend.
