I hope you are having fun and enjoying all the DT's Creations, if you have just come from Brenda's blog you are on the right track, if not then head back to Allsorts Challenge blog to start from the beginning as you don't want to miss a thing. :D
Just a Couple of things to remember:

  • Leave each of the DT a Comment on our Allsorts post for the chance to win the prize up for grabs on our individual blogs
  • Collect a 'hidden letter' from each DT blog and rearrange into a 'secret word'.
  • Enter your Creation following the 'Happy Birthday to Someone Special' theme
If you manage to do all the above you have loads of opportunities to win some fab stash! Without further ado, let me show you what I made, a diamond fold Card:

I threaded ribbon through the two sides so that they pull and tie together, the Central diamond doesn't lie Completely flat but makes it all more Compact. I put glossy accents on the mirror, but the photo just wouldn't  show it :(

I used the LOTV birthday recipe stamp on the Magnolia DooHickey tag with lace and hanger Charm to finish it off.

This photo is to show some of the Card's shape and folds:

Supplies:
SU, Magnolia and Little Yellow Bicycle papers
Nesties Labels twenty two and foliage dies
LOTV image 'Positively Pampered' and sentiment
Marianne Creatable rolled flower die
Hobby house dusky pink gems

The prize that I have supplied for one lucky Commenter from my blog is:

Allsorts DT week #155

Happy weekend!
Today is the start of a new challenge over at
Allsorts,
and our lovely teamie, Debs, would like to see you use
Buttons and Bows
 on your cards and projects.
I love this kind of challenge as it can be anything you want it to be and it's a chance to be really creative.
I was lucky enough to win a couple of LOTV images the other week from Lili's little Fairies challenge blog and so I used one of them on this card. The ballet themed image gave me the inspiration to wrap the ribbon round the card like a ballet shoe tie. I was pleased with how well the overstamped LOTV sentiment came out as I haven't had much success with this sort of thing in the past.

Supplies:
LOTV sentiment and Wish Upon a Star stamp
Go Kreate shaped card die
Magnolia papers - Magnolia of Paris, Paris Red Peony, Fairy Tale Pink Rose
BG paper - Out of Print
Magnolia DooHickeys Tildas lace border, Peony petal
Marianne Creatable rolled flowers

Don't forget to visit the Allsorts blog for all the challenge details and see what the other DT have made to inspire you.
Thanks for popping by today and taking a look at my card, hope you all have a wonderful weekend

Sporty Tilda for TOMIC Bingo

Morning blogland,
Hope you all had a good weekend and managed to enjoy the sunshine, we got out in the fresh air with bike rides and gardening, and it wasn't as bad as I anticipated with my daughter covered in chickenpox! Bless her she's really been suffering with them and had to have antibiotics for a secondary infection. I'm so pleased she's finally over the worst of it as she doesn't make the best patient!

I did manage to finish a card to enter for TOMIC this week, the theme is a favourite of mine: Bingo!

I decided to go with the diagonal line: DooHickey dies, Magnolia patterned papers and Shaped card (Not a square or rectangle).

Supplies:
Go Kreate Shaped card die and Grand nesties scalloped circle
Magnolia papers - Prince/Princesses Blue Heart Flowers, Sweet Crazy Love Magnolia of Paris, Bon Voyage Newspaper
Magnolia DooHickeys - Cloud, Tildas lace border and peony flower
Magnolia stamps - Winner takes All sentiment, Gymnastic Tilda with ribbon and Tennis Tilda
Marianne creatables rolled flowers and WOC flowers

Allsorts DT challenge #154

Morning everyone,
Here we are again, another Saturday and that means another
Allsorts challenge,
hosted this week by my teamie Helene who wants to see you all make
a card for a Man or Boy.

I made this card I while back for my uncle who was ill in hospital, he was in a coma for a few weeks but thankfully he's home now. I don't consider this card to be my usual style, whatever that is lol!, and I'm never very happy with male cards that I make but here it is:

I used BG paper to stamp the Whimsy postcard matted it with Kraft and distressed the edges. The sentiment is SU, stamped on more BG paper I think! The aperture was cut using Nesties lacey circles over several different layers and in different ways to create a frame. A couple of black gems and SU stitching and linen thread to finish. An easy card to make but I don't like the absence of flowers :(

The inside of the card, using SU paper and stitch stamp, and the stamps image is from Kaiserkraft.

Head over to Allsorts for all the details of the challenge and my fab teamies inspiration, I may be back tomorrow or Monday with a card I'm working on at the moment, it all depends how well I get on, in the meantime enjoy your weekend and I hope it's sunny where you are like it is here, yippee!

GDT Penny Black and More @ Allsorts

Morning blogland,
I've got loads to do again today, most of it boring stuff like catching up on the mountain of ironing facing me and the equally large and growing pile of washing looming, as well as helping the kids with homework. Allsorts WK 153

Morning all!
The sun is shining, hurray!!! It's our annual flower festival in Spalding this weekend and I might just go if the weather holds out, our kids love seeing all the floats made out of tulip heads.
This weeks
 challenge is
Black and White
and I love this theme, I always love the idea of colouring an image in black and white as I don't do it very often, so thanks Jo for setting us this challenge :)
I don't usually have a 'story' in my head when creating something but with this the idea I had was of a lady who lost the love of her life on the Titanic and all she has left to remember him by is an old photo, a postcard and a newspaper clipping from the disaster.......

I made my card into an easel keepsake box:

Challenges I would like to enter:
Simply Magnolia - Use 2 or more stamps
IAMC - Monochromatic
Just Magnolia - Wk 155 Anything goes (optional pearls and swirls)

Supplies:
Go Kreate shaped card die
Magnolia stamps -Edwin with binoculars and pier background
Magnolia DooHickies - peony petal, heart swirl branch, antique lace border
Marianne creatable rolled flowers die
Whimsy mini stamp and postcard stamps
SU polka dots embossing folder
Papers - Magnolia newspaper print and Little Yellow Bicycle 'Swoon' 6x6 paper pad
Kaiserkraft stamps

Just got time to show you this:
hope you will be able to join in the fun as there will be lots of prizes up for grabs along the way!

Thanks for stopping by, your comments are always so lovely!
