Tom Cruise's daughter has "Credit Card"! (Taken from YAHOO's news)
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have reportedly given their four-year-old daughter her own credit card.
Suri is fast becoming one of the most famous children in Hollywood and is regularly seen out in public wearing designer clothes and shoes. The young fashionista even designs her own outfits and appears to be following in her parent’s footsteps as she is taking acting and dancing classes.
It appears Suri is mature beyond her years, so Tom and Katie have reportedly decided to give their daughter a credit card so she can learn about the value of money from an early age.
“They give her an allowance on the card and she can spend it on whatever she wants,” a source told Grazia magazine
Suri loves going on shopping sprees with Katie, so she can keep up to date with the latest fashions. While the tot enjoys buying clothes, she also likes spoiling her famous parents too.
It has been reported she recently treated Tom and Katie to a meal when they dined at a restaurant in Prague.
“She ordered the waiter over and handed over her card before paying the tip in cash – four times the total amount of the bill,” one onlooker told the publication.
Aft reading the news, somehow I was speechless! A toddler/girl having a CC @ 4yo?! I meant I was still saying "Are you serious?!" Frankly speaking, I don't think by giving ur daughter a CC, u are educating her on the value of money at an early age! Am sure there are still other meaningful ways right... To put it nastily, u are just spoiling ur lil precious... Okay I kw I have no right to comment, anyway it's their $$$ and their own ways of educating the child but seriously I don't agree at all not even if I am filthy rich! ;p To add on, I'm not envious at all....
I can't imagine Kaelyn owning a CC @ 4yo and her paying the waiter tips, 4 times the amt of the total bill!! ;p ;p THIS DAY WILL NVM EVER HAPPEN...I SWEAR! ;)

My love for Balenciaga Bags is still flaming hot... ;) Nvm ever get bored with it!5 Reasons why everyone shld own a Balenciaga Bag!!! (Credits to Purseblog)
1. The colors! The colors! We’re talking about Balenciaga, after all. They make everything from blacks, browns, and beiges to the brightest (and best) brights in the business. Jewel tones, neons, anything you want. They’ve made it all, and they give us a half dozen or so new colors twice a year, every year. Sometimes they’re throwbacks to past favorites that are no longer available, but usually they’re a fresh crop of hues to build new outfits around. Everyone has their favorite – mine’s 2007 Violet.
2. A shape for everyone and everyone in their shape Balenciaga makes their classic motorcycle bag in almost as many sizes and shapes as they do colors. From coin purses to clutches to overnight bags, no matter what you need to carry and how you prefer to carry it, there’s something for you. Hobos and satchels make up most of the line, but even then, there are a variety of sizes to pick from.
3. Light as a feather, but not stiff as a board Even in the iterations that have giant hardware, Balenciaga bags are still the lightest that I’ve ever carried. 5. Not everyone owns one, and they never will I’ve heard people say that the motorcycle bags are played out, or that everyone has one, or whatever. It’s simply not true. The brand is harder to find both online and in stores than almost all of the other major brands that we cover, and the much-sought-after colors are made in relatively low numbers. Past favorites sell for over (sometimes well over) retail on eBay, and unless you live in one of the world’s most fashionable cities, it’s likely that you almost never come across another woman carrying one. I’d wager that the percentage of Americans that are even aware of their existence doesn’t come close to double digits. When you compare that to signature looks from other brands, they’re still relatively exclusive bags.
Still unconvinced? Fair enough, but maybe one day you’ll see that magic color that you feel like Balenciaga chose just for you, and things will all become clear. Trust me!!

14th August 2010 is a day for me to remember, not tat it's the YOG's opening ceremony ;p but it marks the day in which my breastfeeding journey with Kaelyn ends.... Kinda of emo for me. ;'(
My initial plan is to bf her till she turns 2yo and slowly wean her off. But alas this plan of mine has to be aborted/terminated early as I'm down with bad flu which have been bugging me for quite some time and it's making me breatheless and my chest felt soo congested..Boooo! Hence decided to see doc and take proper medication to cure it else think my nose is gonna 'dropped' off by my constant rubbing and blowing of mucus. *Sigh*
Hub is in total support of me weaning Kaelyn off as of now as he feels that Kaelyn is old enuff and is sure tat she has benefited lots and is orie taking her solids well.
Initially I was still worry bout the weaning process, whether I'm in for a hard time to wean her off. But I'm glad I doing it step by step to slowly wean her off by reducing the no. of feeds daily from 4times slowly to 3, to 2 then only left the night bedtime latch. In fact it seems to me tat Kaelyn is doing fine without latching to sleep and she did not even pester or cry at all asking to be latch. Guess I'm the one who can't bear to end my breastfeeding journey with her.*Bleah*
The previous night I just asked her to go to bed and sleep and she did so w/o pestering me to latch her!! It did surprised me...awwww my baby has grown up and she does not need to be latch to sleep anymore!! =) Bittersweet feeling!!!
Hence yest night b4 starting on my flu medication, I decided to talk to her and was telling her tat it will be her last latch/feed and I'm not gonna bf her anymore due to my prolonged flu and of cos she appeared so nonchalent bout it and instead I am the one who's feeling SOOOO SAD & EMO!
Nvmtheless I'm truly proud to say that I ve bf my girl for bout/close to 22mths and I'm sure she has benefits lots from my bm and enjoying the close bond I share with her! ;) 3 cheers for myself and a big pat on my back for gng so far when I tot I cannot even make it for 6mos! ;p
Till then and I hope my sickening flu can be cured soon!!

Went to United Square on Sat and was so happy that I managed to buy 2 pairs of sandals for dearie Kae! Cos Kaelyn got small feets hence finding small sizes for her is indeed a challenge or by luck.... Oh well anyway here're the 2 pairs I gotten for her.. ;D

Woooo sneezing away!!! Cos my blog is tooo DUSTY liao!! *Blow blow* LOL!
Ok I'm just entertaining myself...since am quite free now while waiting for the laundry. ;)
To summarise, everything is fine and Kaelyn is growing well, getting more active and notti now! *panting*
She's getting more adventurous and almost everything she wanna touch/explore etc... sometimes if it's dangerous items or she did something wrong, I will said NO to her firmly or if necessary I will beat her hands/palms. No doubt she will wail so loudly making sure she's being heard!! Sigh tats the age when temper tantrum comes in. I can't imagine Terrible Two! I have to admit I'm quite fierce to her at times and even scream at her when she's v notti!! ;( I believe tat disciplining has to start early and let the child know the authority levels and not to climb over our heads, bullying us like a spoilt brat. I'm soo worry whether will Kaelyn cries buckets when we refused her request when out and stomped her feets/rolled on the floor crying etc..!! OMG! This is really my nightmare and I really hope she will be well disciplined and behave herself when in public.That nightmare is something I DUN wish to encounter/witness!
Well to-date I'm still b-feeding her.... and is still thinking when to wean her off??!!! tsk tsk *Headache* But she's drinking fresh milk orie and is luving it BUT only a particular brand. I realised when it comes to drinks/water, she's quite fussy!! I tried formula milk for her..she dun like...tried Magnolia SMOO fresh milk, she dun like....give her try Yakult, she oso dun like...plain water...dun really drink a lot!! tsk tsk!! Think to conclude, she only luv bm and Meiji fresh milk!! *jialat*
Nowadays gng/bringing her out is a challenge..cos she wanna come down walk and sometimes dun even wan us to hold her hands..Simply wan to break free from us and walk/run about! tsk tsk!! So hard to control her when out.... I was even thinking of buying a harness for her to wear!! ;p Now gng out alone with her is near to impossible! I have to carry the bag, push stroller and to handle an active toddler... I tried b4 and it's soo hard!! Recently, we bot a new stroller, Maclaren Quest Sport as I dun really like the current stroller we have, the Capella as I find it quite hard to control/push. To our delight, Kaelyn seems to like it and enjoy sitting in the stroller...so I'm keeping my fingers crossed tat she will guai guai sit in the stroller when we are out.. ;D
Kaelyn is eating well(hope I dun jinx it by writing it here..;p)and I'm pretty relax with the food she eat... cos from wat I seen or wat other mummies have advised, better not to be too strict with the food choices/intake else the bub will more likely to be a fussy eater! Hence now I let her try a bit of every food I eat except for those oily/spicy/unhealthy choices. Now she's v smart..whenever she sees me eating at the dining table, she will auto comes to me and wan me to carry her up and feed her the food while seated on my laps. tsk tsk.. ;p But comes to think of it, I rather have a greedy girl than a fussy girl!! ;D She still only has 8 front teeth and wonder when will the pre-molars be out and I'm soo fearful of it!! Teething is really a torture for the bub and the parents too cos they will be more cranky/fussy than usual especially during their bedtime!! Sigh!! Morever she's a fussy sleeper as she still does whines and cry during her bedtime!! I have resigned my fate to this!! Boooo... ;(
Kaelyn is still not really talking yet though she can said some words etc... she still prefers to babble in her own baby language! Sigh! ;p I believe every child is unique and we shld let them develop at their own pace...no use fretting and comparing with other bubs.. ;) But I'm proud to say that now at 17mos, she's able to read words and do the actions to me or say it out if she know! To-date she has a vocab of bout 36words le... ;) I have posted the video clip of her reading words in FB le! Heee she's really our lil darling, surprising us with her lil achievements!! :D So for now, I will continue to expose her to new words/vocabs and hopefully when she turns 24mos, she's able to read/know more than 50words! ;D
