Pink and Main February Release

It is my pleasure to be back guest designing for Pink & Main once again this month and today is the day of their brand new February release.  Much to tempt from the new products however I opted to work with the following products:-

For the card, I started with a panel of pink cardstock and I used the Tiny Hearts Hot Foil Plate by Alex Syberia Designs and some pink foil to create the design for a little more added interested.  I framed this panel out with a white die cut frame created using MFT's Rectangle Frames Die-namics.  With some minty green cardstock I added a little insert of green to the bottom of the background on which I 'grew' the blooms.

Using another identical background and the Shaker Tag Dies by Pink & Main I created the tag so that it coordinated with the card.  I glued the parts together and tied some green ribbon through the hole.

I stamped the images from My Little Love Bug and coloured them with Copic markers in the following combinations:-

Bugs - G00, BG11, BG10, BG000, E04, E11, E21, E00
Blush & Pink Blooms - R22, R21, R20, R00
Yellow Flowers - YG00, Y13, Y06, Y21, E51, YR21, Y26
Greenery - YG45, G12, YG11

Images were die cut using the coordinating dies and highlighted with a white gel pen.   I backed the images with dimensional foam tape and applied to the card and gift tag.

For the finishing touches I applied 3 sticky gems from the newly release 'The Greens' selection and I dotted in some daisies to the grass.  Last but not least I stamped the sentiments on sentiment strips using Coral Reef Ink by The Stamp Market.

I hope you like this pretty duo, thank you for visiting my blog today and enjoy shopping the new Pink and Main release.

Waffle Flower - Post Collage Valentine

A warm welcome to you and thank you for joining me on my blog today where I'm sharing a Valentine's card made just for the love of it that showcases the  Postage Collage products from Waffle Flower

To make this card I used the following products:-

I took an A2 panel of sturdy white cardstock and I used the Postage Collage Die to die cut it.

The Postage Collage Rose Stencil has three parts to it and starting with the first one I ink blended until all of the designs were complete.  I used the following Distress Inks for the blending:-

Spun Sugar
Victoria Velvet
Picked Raspberry
Festive Berries
Cracked Pistachio
Mowed Lawn

I then used the Postage Collage Love Stamp Set and Eiffel Tower Ink by MFT to stamp the postage themed images in various positions.

I backed this decorative panel with dimensional foam tape and then adhered that to a white panel that was hidden behind the main one.

I took some toning patterned cardstock from my stash, this one is Strawberry Frosting by Lawn Fawn and I trimmed it just a little shy of A2 and I adhered the decorative panel to it and then this was all glued to an A2 card base.

I'm always itching to embellish and add more but with this one I kept it beautifully simple and classic and added nothing more.  Card done!

Thanks for coming by to read today, it is very much appreciated and I'll be back very soon with something new.  Have a great day!

Purple Onion Designs - Flowers From Tofu

I'm back with a new card for Purple Onion Designs today that features their Flowers From Tofu stamp illustrated by Chilliezgraphy by Pei.  Here's a list of links to the products used:-

I took a panel of white cardstock measuring 4 x 5 1/4 inches.   I used the Vintage Postcard Stamps to stamp all the fun little features to build a postcard and I found some Purple Onion sentiments from my stash to type the Hello and Happy Birthday words.

I then used Spun Sugar and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Inks to softly ink blend the panel and dotted in some interest.

I stamped the main image using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and coloured with the following Copic marker combinations:-

Overalls - B34, B32, B91
Tofu - C3, C1, C0, C00
Boots - RV34, RV11, R81, W3, W1
Flowers Y19, RV34, RV11, R81, YG06, YG13, E41, E40
Blush - R22, R21, R20, R00

Points were highlighted with a white gel pen and then I fussy cut the image, backed it with foam tape and applied it to the background.

For the finishing touches I added some tufts of grass and flowers to the the grass and added some shadow beneath Tofu and then I added some clouds with foam tape.  These clouds are from Hello Bluebird's 'Beach Umbrella Die' and I added some subtle colour to each to emphasise them and to pick up on the blue from Tofu's overalls.

The panel was then glued to an A2 white card base and then it was done!  Thanks for reading my blog today!

Hi!  I'm happy to be sharing this CAS card today for Purple Onion Designs which features their 'Flappy's Lucky Day' stamp image.  Read on for the details.

I took a white A2 panel of cardstock and I masked a line above which I ink blended with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink.  I then came in with a cloud stencil from my stash and softly ink blended the sky using Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink.

I stamped the images and coloured with the following Copic markers:-

Flappy - E44, E43, E55, W3, W1, W0, R000, R0000
Blushes - R22, R20, R00
Clover - YG67, G07, YG13
Sparrows - E31, E41, Y19

I highlighted a few points with a white gel pen and then fussy cut the images.

I backed the images with dimensional foam tape and applied them to the background and to finish the card I stamped the sentiment which is from the 'Lucky Sentiment Set'.

Between this stamp image and the sentiment stamp set linked in this blogpost you have many occasions covered including St. Patrick's Day.

Happy cardmaking friends!

Pink & Main - Easter Flag Shaker Card

Welcome to my blog and my third of three cards created for Pink & Main for their January 17th release.  Again with this card I'm back to using the Easter Flag stamp set  but this time I'm using the main image and it is so cute!

To create the card I took a white A2 panel of cardstock and I used their new Stitched Egg Dies to create and egg shaped opening.  I took the negative cut and ink blended in pastels and adhered it to another white A2 panel.  I backed the first panel with acetate and formed a shaker pocket with dimensional foam tape around the ink blended egg and I sprinkled on some of Pink & Main's new 'Easter Mix Confetti' (also seen in the dish on the left of the photos) and I then closed the shaker unit by apply the top panel to the second panel.

I stamped the Easter Flag image and the painted eggs using Eiffel Tower ink by MFT.  I used theses Copic markers to colour:-

Bunnies - N2, N1, N0, E40, R0000
Blush - R22, R21, R20, R00
Eggs - Y00, RV02, YG41, B000
Flag - R00, R000

I highlighted and then emphasised their eyes with a black glaze pen, die cut and adding it to the background with dimensional foam tape.

I wanted to keep the card as CAS as possible and so I finished with some white Nuvo drops and then this fun shaker card was finished.

Thanks for stopping by and if you'd like to know what else I made from the release please keep scrolling to the next two posts!

Pink & Main - Easter Flag

Hi there!  Welcome to my blog and the second of three cards created for Pink & Main's latest release.  Keep scrolling to see the card shared 2 days ago.  This card features their new Easter Flag stamp and dies plus the useful Stitched Egg Dies which is a stacked set of different sizes.

I started by die cutting two eggs using the Stitched Egg Dies and I used two images from Easter Flag and stamped one on each egg using Eiffel Tower Ink by MFT.

I coloured the images with these Copic combinations:-

Bunny & Basket - N2, N0, E41, E40, R000
Blush - R22, R21, R20, R00
Pink - RV02
Yellow - Y21
Blue - B00
Green - YG41
Shading - C3, C1
Grass - YG41, G20
Sky - BG0000

I stamped and die cut the sentiment.

I then used a background stamp from my stash and using Powder Blue ink by The Stamp Market I stamped a white panel of cardstock to provide the floral backdrop.  I die cut the panel to give the faux stitched edge and glued it to an A2 card base.

I glued the basket of eggs directly to the background and with the bunny image and sentiment I popped them up on dimensional foam tape.

Shop Pink & Main's new release now, so much seasonal cuteness to be enjoyed and I'll be back in 2 days with my final card for the release.

Pink & Main - EGGstraordinary

Hello!  Today I'm happily guest designing for Pink & Main's newest release and I'm sharing the details on this card made using their adorable new EGGstraordinary stamp set.

I stamped the images using Eiffel Tower ink by MFT and I coloured the images using the following Copic markers:-

Chick - YR31, YR20, E50, BG0000
Bunny - E42, E41, E40
Kitten - C5, C3, C1, C0
Blushes - R22, R21, R20, R00
Eggs - R22, R20, R00 & BG01, B00, B000 & Y21, YR20, E50 & C3, C1, C0
Egg Carton - E42, E41, E40
Shading - C3, C1, C0

I highlighted with a white gel pen and used a black glaze pen to emphasise the eyes and die cut.

I die cut a panel of cardstock and ink blended a blue background.  Over this at the bottom I layered some patterned cardstock from my stash.  I backed all of the stamped images and applied them to the background using foam tape.

The decorative panel was glued to an A2 white card base.

I chose a sentiment from some of the choices included in this fun stamp set and stamped it on a perfectly sized piece of cardstock which I applied with more foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today, I'll be back on Monday 20th with my second of three cards created for Pink & Main's new release so I hope you return for that.

Happy crafting!
