We Love Santa

It was a funny year for our Santa visit.  Brianne thought he was crazy, but happily took the candy cane.  Lainee was not her normal, talkative self.  She got really shy and basically whispered.  I had to ask her to repeat herself several times because he couldn't hear her.  But the wishes were eventually heard, and we left with candy and smiles.  Thanks, Santa!

Cupboards 2012

I'm so glad Alicia went to college with somebody cool, so that she could then bring home this fun tradition.  Wrapping cupboards is our favorite!

Gingerbread Houses 2012

One of my favorite traditions with the Martins is gingerbread houses.  Darla works way too hard baking gingerbread.  This year there were 12 kid-size houses and 6 adult houses.  We had a great time, and it was fun to be with everyone the day after Thanksgiving!

Baby Lincoln

Since Rupert seems to be in the middle of quite a bit of traveling, sometimes we get lucky enough to have visitors stop in on their way to and fro.  This time Mikey and Meghan stopped by with sweet baby Lincoln.  Look at those cheeks!
