thanks to all who made this dance performance a success. this performance will definitely not be so successful if weren't for those who helped us along or gone through with us. a big THANKYOU to one and all!
after weeks of choreographing and practising, we did ENJOY ourselves, didn't we! (: although there were some unpleasant things that happened along the way, it definitely did bond us even more. we shall all work hard and jiayou for upcoming SYF! we know we can do it! :D
for now, let's all wait patiently for the video from kaiwen and comments given to us. (:

The growing distinction of the clean line between the non-exco members and the exco members. Is it merely something that occurs so naturally that it cannot be stopped? I doubt it. A word of warning to all who reads this. Show all the respect you can give to your seniors, even if they are not in the exco. Seriously, segregation is the last thing that can occur amongst the group... It will sadden me to see power struggles and unhappiness too amongst the dancers just because of the titles bestowed upon these chosen people. Let this not happen, and if it has already occured, lets put an end to it.
Laconically, juniors, show respect to ur seniors whether or not they are in the exco. Similiarly, sec3s who are not in the exco, give ur full support to the exco and work together hand in hand to bring NHDS to greater heights. With great power comes great responsibility. All the best to this exco in ur tasks ahead.
It is not your aptitude, but your ATTITUDE, that determines your altitude. With that note, I wish alll dancers all the best in their common tests. :)

Nan Hua Dance Society - A Legend
today was the election that decided the new exco of 2006 going into 2007.
i know i am in no position to comment about the new exco. however, i wish that those who got in would not take advantage of your spots, neither would you get conceited. i wish that every member in this society would fully support your exco, which does not mean blindly obliging without pointing out faults or raising better suggestions.
also, i myself am very troubled about the unsettling among members about disapproving of the new exco members. i do hope that all sec3s do not draw a clean line between exco, and 'just normal members without a status'. on the contrary, leading this team of young people is not an easy feat, which requires the effort of the entire batch. not only that, but i do hope that each one still has the respect of every junior and peer, an not just get dissed just because of their status or (dis)likability factor.
the exco, afterall, is also past of this family, going throught the same journey, walking the same path. we are one big family with a strong bond and unbeatable spirit that MUST be carried on in the years to come (i shall not use the cliched term 'bringing us all to greater heights' xDD). do we want this legendary dance society to fall? NO!!! hahaha.. okay. no! so let us once and for all push our differences aside and PLEEEASE work together.
now that the national day parade, which we all poured our hearts and souls and lungs and intestines over, has finally passed, the next target is the nan hua tao quan, and then the SYF central judging competition much stressed about. what is our aim? Gold with honours? YEAH MAN!!
how about HIGHER honours? xDD
