Girls' day out in Malacca

I was just saying "Yes" to Hui Chien's sudden enthusiastic recruitment for a Malacca trip right after the end of posting exam yesterday. And here we came...
Thanks Kealyn for tour guiding, Joanne and her parents for their hospitality. To Melissa, Hui Chien and Chiat Yin, it was a pleasant journey instead with all the heart felt sharings. Thanks for making it a wonderful trip. I had a good day out in Malacca!

And now, it's time to work out after two whole days of ceaseless eating!

Surgery posting, done!

Yeppie! It's the long awaiting one week break again! The one month strive had been tiring yet fulfilling. I shall proudly announce that I've found a way to cut down my net surfing and napping time!

Just thought of sharing this picture showing my lonely bag in the library pigeon hole around the time I went home most of the days for the last few weeks. Yea, I started to find joy staying in the library finally, by which a two-third of my day was spent in uni and ward. What a life! Hope I can continue to work on my discipline.

Surgery posting done, next comes Paediatrics. Babies and kids, I'm coming!

Selamat Hari Raya kepada kawan-kawanku yang menyambut! Happy holidays guys, and fully utilize the last long break before the EOS exam!

The cause of pain

Noted the bed ticket of a patient. The first two lines:

Pt. c/o pain (Patient complained of pain)
- was being examined by medical students

We did cause pain to patients, be it knowing or unknowingly...

The tag says:

"Not for medical student to examine patient."

Medical students are purely annoying sometimes...

Love will find a way

Artist: Christina Aguilera

No the rain won't last forever
Find a way to make it better
Long as we can stand together
Love will find a way
Gonna make a new tomorrow
Say goodbye to tears and sorrow
Better listen when I say
Love will find a way

Round and chubby

Oh what a long 3 weeks of blog hiatus, indicating how exciting Semester 9 is!

Few days ago, I got a description of myself from some one whom I newly met few months back. It says:

"Round and chubby!"

I had a good laugh actually as it reminded me of the old days on how my relatives used to tease me when I was young.

I sort of like the description. Round and chubby, analogous to a ball, which bounces under force. The greater the force, the higher it bounces.

Honestly speaking, Semester 9 is stressful! The words "final year" medical student undoubtedly add me some extra weights. Lots of efforts are needed to meet the high expectations.

Hey mates, take the force and let's bounce hard!

What a day

What a good welcome to a new semester. My car is now laying deadly in the workshop. Sigh.
