NF Digital Art Meme, DAM 9

NF Digital Ar Meme, a meme for digital artwork. photo art and creative work.
The two memes, NF Abstract and NF Digital Art Meme, will take turns. The good thing is that you can post Abstract every week as that is also Digital.

The new meme will allow any kind of digital art. You can post anything from photo art, straight from the camera, to complicated texture work. You can take a shot of your pottery and make it digital. As long as you are the artist. I hope to see some of the black and white artists I often see on Weekend in Black and White. You create good arts in your camera.

It is not nessessary to give all details of your work. An artist must have some secrets and, well, how we did it is most of the time impossible to describe anyway.  And we work with different software.

Next week is NF Abstract week. Be sure to visit if you want The optional theme for next DAM.

I guess I can call this one "NatureFootstep". As the optional theme for DAM this week is "Letters" I was sitting playing around with my logo. I tried to draw F with one of the pencils and then tried out different ways in TEXT to bend and twist the name. One of them is a fish. Guess which one? Then I tried to form some shape with the standing logo. I also used the colored pencil filter on one. But as it did look rather boring I picked up a bokeh image of fall leafs and added a blending mode and, voila, there it was. :)

Next week is NF Abstract and it will also be some changes. Having two different art memes did not work as well as expected. And people seem confused. And the increase in no of people participating did not happen. Well, you have to come back next week to see what I´m up to.

Linking up with Black and White Weekend

This weeks optional theme is black and white. This is a color photo converted to black and white. Then I used rather much sharpening for the first one. In order to enhance the forms of the deers. Then I used that one to create a Cut Out in PS CS5.

I am actually quite fond of the cut out. It reminds me of that kind of needlework they did some 100 years back and had as decoration on the walls. I can picture the dark, rich colors it should have after many years on the wall. :)

I´m looking forward to see if you dare take the challlenge. At least, have fun!

Last week and this one I have checked out all links on all memes. It is sad to see that many lacks back links, others just comes here to advertise their own memes without even trying to stick to my topic of the meme. And never even bother to comment to MY work. It is NOT FUN to be directed to another meme.

From now on I will check all links I suspect will not stick to rules. And those will be deleted without further notice.

The Lady in the cave

This is an image that didn´t turn out as I expected. The initial image is the flower Echinacea (solhatt) with snow on its dried head. I enhanced the image and changed the proportions of it and cropped it too. Then I used Glowing edges and Filter Glass.  And I saw the Lady in the lower right corner and cropped her out. So the image is small. But, can you see her?

This is a bush that I edited in CS5. To start with I used Filter "Angled strokes". And then applied Layer style "Bevel and emboss".

I think it turned out rather nice. Now, it´s your turn.
