This Blog Has Served Me Well...

But it is time to chart new ground!



I didn't give up.



I had some slips, but I have lost approx 16 pounds and gained a lot of muscle with the help of this blog.



Now I am changing some things up. I am trying some new execise techiniques now that just getting to the workout is no problem.



This NEVER GIVE UP blog was perfect to get me going from that blob state I was in! Onward.....

My September Goal

September has 30 days. 4 weeks and 3 days. I don't know if I can do 10 pounds so will shoot for 9.

My work out and eating goals are the same as they were for August. But my other goals are to:

Lose 9 pounds which would put me at at net -19 total from start.
Fit into the Old Navy Jeans. (I think 9 pounds will do it)

Actually I think I lost 3-4 pounds before I started wieighing, so this would have me really at losing 23 pounds or so. Oh wow!!!

As of today I have lost 10.5 pounds, beating my goal by a half pound!

I stayed mostly on the diet, and even with my straying, still made the goal.

I decided to take the spin 'easy' since after doing a hour of PT I was wiped out last time I spun (spinned, span) hard!

It was actually very enjoyable not pushing myself and I hit that 'zone' feeling I used to get years ago when I ran. I would get a rhytm going, and then zone out, with regular work and heartrate. And actaully my cal burn was pretty good.

'37 Days of Summer' My New Goal

Ok, this is my new blog to take over since I am through with my Virtual Tour De France goals.

It may be incredibly boring to anyone but me, but I like the blogger format and tracking my goals.

There are 37 days until the end of August. This is a good amount of time to really set some goals and work them through. Ok... here are my goals:

Stick to it!
Personal training diet from friend RM. Hey Roxanne! Thanks for the support!
Aerobics: 6X week (400 cal burn goal)
Strength Train: 3X week
Water: 64 + oz/day
Vitamins and calcium daily
Prayer and relax time daily

During this time I know I will have to get creative, as when I get bored, tired or discouraged I eat. Exercise is going fine. I have so many options at the Y if I get burned out, I just change it up.

But, I will be looking for ideas to keep my hand out of the chip bag or the ice cream freezer, especially after 6pm.
