Such a Deep Deep, Reassurance

My laptop officially died, just that it hasn't been buried nor cremated. That explains for my laggy updates. It's indeed been so long that I've last posted, and my IBM apologizes. Haha!

Well, first and foremost, happy holidays to you who can relate to this:) I'm already one week into my holidays and this feels soooo goood! I, no we, have all been buzzing with the nearing Dreams for Sale production. I must say, this has been a fulfilling journey watching how the drama advance from what it was months ago, to what it will be this coming Friday on our debut, God's debut.

As Shawn and Jo Wong already emphasized, rest of region 7/8, keep the production and those that are coming in prayer:) Let's all do our part and bathe this entire outreach in prayers. It's not just our production, it's the region's. Invite your friends, your cousins, your neighbours. Together let's pack the house with people. You never know how God will move, but with prayers, we know He will move.

Anyway, I got to rush for dinner then prayer meeting now. So much more to update you guys on, with a lot of people to thank. Time's just not on my side.

And, and, if you want to come watch 'Dreams for Sale', the oh-so-awesome drama by QiGeBaGe, text me, or give me a call:)

Dreams For Sale
Date: 29th August (This Friday)
Time: 7.30pm
Venue: Yishun, Fusion Youth Hub.

Happy 43rd Birthday, Home.

Yay, three cheers for our very own Edge Parade!

Haha, at service yesterday, we had march-ins by our own uniform guys, paper air show, parachuters with garbage bags and even a Kit 'Foong'. You should have been there, if you weren't, you missed having a real goood laugh! Good job, all you involved;)

It was also the debut for 'Lifeline' by our dance ministry yesterday. I must say, a job well done girls! Haha, afterall, it was God that enabled it all, we must never forget:)
Every performance teaches a whole new lesson. More than just a new set of steps and a few grooves, but its really learning what is real worship unto God and God alone. Its learning to redirect all praises and honour back to Him.
Aiyah, want to know what I'm talking about, come and join the dance ministry:D Haha!

Now let's rewind to yesterday morning; soccer at Seletar (Supposedly Nanyang Poly).
And the only reason I was there, besides initially sincerely wanting to go, was to make sure Sam goes for drama. See, Sam, say I'm nice! Haha, it was an initiated soccer match between region B, C/D, F. You can't ask me, I don't really know how you judge what's a good or bad game, all I knew was that the sun was all out to shine upon the game, haha. And, this is so unfair, you only see initiated games for soccer, captain's ball someone?

As we rewind a little bit bit more, there we go; Day of His Power at Max Pavilion. It was spectacular, just looking at the number of people praising the same, one great God! That's when you know, (exclaim!) I have a HUGE family in Christ. And so, don't you forget that you're not alone.
Friday was also a good day spent with Mum, accompanying her for her duty at Suntec:)Shopping, eating, more eating. I know it doesn't sound like me, it was Mum; I tagged along while she did those.

Okay, one last thing, I promise! Haha, I forgot to mention that some precious souls got baptised on the the 2nd of August:
Congratulations to all, and especially some real special people; Alicia, Marcus, Chew Min, Christina, Rebecca, Jonas! And you know why you're special;)
As you've made a declaration to this world, may your personal walk with God take flight at this junction of your life, let your intimacy with Him grow like never before. And someday I'll see with my eyes, great men and women that will rise from this net because of your simple step of faith and obedience.

Now, I really need to sleeep. I, zzzz.

I'll Lavish Mine on You

Although my eyelids are getting heavy, and the ticking of the clock attempts to put me to bed, I can't help but still face this very screen and start tapping all over again. Haha, it's just one of those thoughtful nights, the body is tired but the mind hasn't slown down. But just what exactly is going through this mind, it's kind of vague.

Study plan says revision begins this week. Haha, but the truth is I'm very much far behind what I've planned for. Like I've said it, it's a plan. So you see, Carmen needs some serious discipline, and maybe a cane would be of help. Tomorrow. I'll catch up tomorrow, I always say.

There was caregroup today, at Joanne's. It's always nice to be where the fellow leaders are; the fellowship, the word and the chips:) Haha, after which we headed for Geylang to eat durian! Okay, I understand this 'sensitive' word yields different types of response, but Carmen and the leaders, minus Jo Wong says 'yumm!' Haha. Wong, you should learn the art of tasting Heaven!

Always end of each day counting your blessings and in thanksgiving. Thank the ever-faithful One who created the galaxies and all the wonders of this world, and who still bothers to count the number of hair on Your head:) Thank You Jesus, for caring.

By Your Side

Cause I, I love you, I'l never let you go

Hello Hello, it's a beautiful morning, isn't it? Okay, it's not exactly very early right now as I type, but I did wake up feeling the coolness of the air:) It is probably because I know I'm going to have this day all to myself, and night, for the net, that this day is especially pretty.

I almost forgot what this feels like, stress-less day; a day dedicated to myself:D And I'm so going to enjoy every moment right now, before revision for exams begin. Well, that's a whole different story.

Right, haven't I promised an update on the Net Leaders' Outing?

On 19th July, all the net leaders headed for Purvis Street's Mind's Cafe for hours of crazy board games. And as qouted from Jeremy.S, no net lessons, no members, no net, just the leaders and some fun!

I was guilty of not mingling around, I just jumped from Region D table 1 to Region D table 2. My region is sure one great board game hopper! Haha, we were changing from one game to another until really soon, we ran out of games to play. Now you see why we are consistently racking our brains for new ways to excite and hook up the region. LOL!

Meet the nicest Net Leaders in town:)

I must say, the leaders in our region has grown both in quality and quantity:) Meet these, and you'll know why I say so. Haha, not only has the caregroup grown, but everyone of us, I see has grown so much too.

It isn't always the easiest thing to stand in the frontline, nor is it easy to serve unconditionally. But let's continue to ride on the strength of the Lord, remain in Him despite the situation and forever trust in Him, that if we love our sheep, how much more would He love them. Bear in mind that we'll never be alone, for this is what a caregroup is for, that we'll stand side by side for as long as we serve:D Cheer on fellow leaders, let's run this race with endurance!

Mirror mirror on the wall, I say, this is the best'est looking region of them all:D
Only because, I see, the light of God beaming through.
