Iridescent Clouds,
Come Out and Make Me Happy

Blahh! Urghhh! Ahhhh! And all other words of frustration!

It was IS module selection in the morning (8am!), and I did not get the modules I planned for and wanted. Hence, I'm stucked with Community and what makes it worst, it's an afternoon class. It means going home at 5pm on Thursdays! Okay, the good thing? I start at 1pm.

I can imagine the different sleepy faces up at this moment, sitting before the computer waiting for the clock to spell 8am to make the same selection I did. How very smart of the school to wake Carmen up so early in the morning and not give her the module she wants. Don't they know, she bites!

Haha, bad note to start a morning.

Indeed this has been a busy holiday as the Business and Accountancy Freshmen Orientation Convention (Actually, it's just BAOC) draw near. Millions (not literally) of IDs, a 4m X 3m banner, cheers, booth, performance, etc. has kept all the groups busy and turning topsy-turvy!

But of course, I'm looking forward to seeing our group's efforts pay off. We have some real good-looking, fun-loving SCs (Student Coordinators), now give us enthu' freshies, pleasee.

Before I even realise it, the holidays are flying away! So quick and swift, it caught me off-guard. No, not that I have homework to complete, but it's just, I haven't had my share of fun:: ( Take me out, I want waffle ice cream.

Just for Laughs; I got this in an email.

Alright, it's time to start the morning proper. Maybe I would go have a good breakfast, or go for a jog, or maybe, wash-up before anything else (whoops!)

Oh no! I did promise you an update on Youth Rally and Good Friday, didn't I? You would still love me if I said, 'another time' right? Well, love you too!

T.G.I.(G)F
Thank God it's (Good) Friday

The worst thing ever, is to wake up to a bad stomach early in the morning. Horrid, terrifying morning. But put that aside, it's beautiful Easter Sunday dawn. Yes, indeed I'm thankful that I worship The One who not only died for me, but is living for me.

And because it's the beautiful Easter Sunday morning, I'd share my faith.

Grace, simple as it is, never fails to amaze me. Who am I to deserve the touch of amazing grace, the contact of amazing love? The very thought of a blameless, sinless man dying upon that cruel, wooden cross just so you lived bewilders my heart, it blows my mind. Oh, how He saved my soul.

Amazing Grace, How Sweet the Sound
That Saved a Wretch like Me
I Once was Lost, But Now Am Found
Was Blind But Now I See

With a heart full of gratitude, I stand here declaring, I'm nothing apart from Jesus. And all my days, I live for Him, I'll breathe for Him. Call me crazy or a fool, but I'm not holding back. Because He, too, gave it all.

Isn't it wonderful to learn to make your life count, to live for something apart the things of this world?
How many times has this world ride your emotions on a roller coaster, plucked the strings of your heart to an unmelodious riddle?
Tiring, doesn't it get, when you sweat your hearts out for a short-lived smile of Mother Nature and it's creatures?

I've been there, done that, didn't like it. Because this world brews a cup of bitter wine. Nice-smelling, but not all that fabulous. Pleasures of this world doesn't breathe for long. Alcohol drowns your sorrow, gives you 'high', what about the hangovers? Cigars label you 'cool' and a daredevil, what about the addiction you can't break thereafter?

It's getting heavy, but I'm sure you caught a glimpse of the big picture. So if life spells an end today, has your life count for something lasting, or nothing more than mere dust returning to dust?

May It Be A Sweet, Sweet Sound in Your Ears

Dear mine! If Joeline hadn't reminded me, it would never have occured to me that I have left this blog on hold for such a long time. Sorry readers, I kept you missing me (LOL!) :: D

School and Church has kept me busy, and breathing this holidays.

The BAOC preparations has kicked start (and has been awhile already) and I must say although it isn't all that easy, it sure is a whole new experience and great fun. But one thing I realised, it's no fun leading fellow schoolmates. Why? Because they always think I'm older than my age, and that's not nice! Okay, besides that everything is good, everyone is well. Meet Fantastic Four; Meet the Formidable!

Crystal and Wenjin, 2 of whom i work sooo closely with. It's this season in time I look forward to, for the strengthening of the friendship between us:: ) We've come soo far together, so I thank you for this one year of pure, sweet memories. You both know, you are greatly loved and cherished by me.

It has been a series of exciting events following in church.

The corporate captian's ball game was great! Sun-soaking, not! More of being totally soaked to the skin, drenched to the bones thanks to the persistant rain and, players. LOL! Nonetheless, we all had fun, I can speak for our people. Right Qi Ge Ba Ge?

Leaders' Retreat was just timely and divine I believe. Not just for me, but all the leaders in the House. Pastor Paul Chase was absolutely a great speaker, and God? Even greater. I liked pastor's humor, and more so, his messages. What really spoke to me was about how we as leaders should never lose our cutting edge. Else, when you swing your axe against the trunk, you get nothing more than same effort and no results.

So the 2 days retreat left the leaders refreshed, charged up, and an input of extra 3kg. Yes, the church sure fed us fat! In 8 hours, we were served 4 meals. That's eating a meal every 2 hours! But oh, it sure was nicee:: ) Carmen cannot say 'no' to foood!

Alright people, I'll leave you up to here. More updates on Youth Rally and Good Friday another time because it's time to be tucked into bed!

This Good Friday, Remember My Friend's Love.

How can I stand here with You,
and not be moved by You

Something Fishy last Saturday was cool! Haven't I told you about it? Something Fishy is our March Regional Activity at Bishan Park. So the wacky games comm' decided that we should gross our people out with some raw, smelly, really smelly fishes! Although the turn up wasn't all that fantastic, the minority present did have fun, I suppose:: )

So we begin the morning at 9am, where the comm' met up for a visit to the wet market to buy our 'essentials'. We packed some big fishes, live frogs and little guppies into our grocery bags and we were ready to start the day! The weather wasn't all that ideal, but we didn't let it dampen our mood since we were all ready to have some fun! We played Captain's Ball, then moved on to some really fishy games:: D

Photos are self explanatory, let it do the saying;

At the wet market, by the fish monger

Game #1 Fish Factor- In there is some live frogs and guppies, its sick!

Game #2 Dog &Bone Cat &Fish- You can smell the 'freshness' of the fish from afar.

Game #3 X to X (Shoulders to Cheeks)

The sisters got Neck to Neck

Boss Sng with our next surprise

Game #4 Fish Relay- We couldn't get the batons, what about fishes?

Kim Soh found her Fish Prince

At the end of the day, we do love fishes afterall.
Don't we?

Tadaah! Now those that weren't present do you feel that tinge of disappointment? Haha, just make sure you don't miss the next activity; Inter-Regional Tournaments!

Watch out other regions, we are showing no mercy! For the glory of Region D, rarr!
