Hi All,
Okay, raise your hand if you are ready for summer!!! My hand is not only raised, but it is waving frantically in the air like the kid in the classroom who just has to be called on before they burst. Yep, I'm excited for summer! The month's creative weekly theme at the Crate Paper blog is certain to get you in the mood for summer! The CP girls used the new collection The Pier to create some fun in the sun and sand projects and here's mine. I am totally loving the slide frames and chipboard from this collection!
Ready to play along with the challenge? I can't wait to see what you create!

Heritage Album
A few weeks ago my vintage book heritage album was featured on the Crate Paper blog. I had so much fun with this project, and love the idea that my girls will keep this album for years to come, and be able to put faces to stories of their family's heritage.
Thanks for stopping by, friends!

Clothesline Inspired Crate Paper Projects!
Hi Everyone!! Husband and I went to Italy last month and I totally loved the clotheslines stretched between buildings! It inspired me to make a couple of new projects that are featured today on the Crate Paper Blog! I used the Maggie Holmes line for this vintage frame decor that is hanging above my work table in my scrap room. I love how it turned out!
And I used the new awesome Crate Paper line The Pier for this throwback layout of my oldest daughter. I converted the photos to black and white cause I shot in auto mode at the time and thought I was a good photographer. I wasn't. But back and white usually makes it all better!
Clothespins are a fun and easy way to add some dimension and whimsy to your projects! I hope you check them out!!

Write.Click.Scrapbook May Gallery Reveal!
Guess what??? It is in the mid 70s and sunny here today! Considering it was snowing last week, I'd say it is about time!! And guess what else?? I have my layout for the Write.Click.Scrapbook gallery to share with you! It really is an awesome gallery, so make sure you check it out here!
This is one of my new favorite layouts. I love Kesi'art, so this patterned paper is perfection. I also love the letters and stitching. And I also love this photo of my oldest who is in Kindergarten and is learning to read at a rapid pace. What are you loving lately?? Do tell!
