Trip to Tahoe September 2010

What an awesome view
A carriage ride with a horse named Abraham

Haely said she felt like cinderella.

Family Vacation July 2010

Our first stop was to Seattle for 4 days to see our really good friends. That was really fun. Somewhere that I have never been before. What a gorgeous place. Went and did a lot of fun things. Geoff even stopped and relaxed. Which is unusual for him. How could you not when you get to stay somewhere as beautiful as this was.

The Seattle Aquarium

Catching crabs. She was having so much fun being with the kids. Especially her BFF.

Geoff just lounging

Scott and Karen's back yard. So awesome!
Then we went to Logan, UT for 3 days to see my cousin and his family. We have never been up there so that was nice to see them and hang out. I was sick for all 3 days, so unfortunately I could not get any pictures.
Then after Logan we drove on to Salt Lake to stay the remaining 5 days with again some of our really good friends. We of course got to go to the lake. Something that we got to enjoy together when we all lived in Fernley together. Miss those days. Then we just hung out and enjoyed spending some much needed time together.

The guys doing what they do best. SUPERVISING!!!!

We all had just discovered Pandora on our phones and were listening to music and the girls were showing us some of their dance moves.

OK the story behind this is hilarious. There was a younger kid (probably 13) riding his bike on the street in front of Jeremy and Lindy's house and he was kindof showing off a little. Doing all kinds of tricks. So Jeremy thought it would be a good idea to show him up on his 8 year old bike. Was so so funny. He was actually pullin off some pretty good tricks though. And of course making us all laugh like he is so good at doing.

Then the sad day that we had to fly home. Good thing we had this though after 3 plane rides and 12 days away from home.

Haely had the best time. And so did we. There is no better vacation then getting to see family and friends and actually getting to spend quality time with them.

Here are a few random pictures from the beginning of our year.

Vegas July 2010
Haely's new favorite place on earth. Seriously even more then disneyland I think. Something else her and Geoff have to share. Geoff could vacation here every other month and never get sick of it.

May 2010
Haely got to choose between a swing set or a tramp for summer now that we have a yard big enough. This was not a hard decision for her.

April 2010
Easter Morning at Aunt Jill's house

March 2010

LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW
This is what we woke up to Monday morning this week. I was so excited. Good thing Geoff only has a 10 minute commute now.
I love the snow.....

It was my day off so I got to stay home and play with Haely. We had dinner at my brothers house on Sunday night and it had started snowing on our way home. Haely asked if we could build a snowman. I told her that I did not think there would be enough snow in the morning to do that, but that we would have to wait and see. Well.....there was plenty. She was so excited. She loved it. She did not want to come in. We had a least a foot. It was so fun. And then the warmest that it got all this week was 18 degrees. The low every night has been below zero. We still have this much snow in our yard. Its so pretty.

Haely and Auntie LaLa at the ballet. My sister in law Linda has always wanted to go to the nutcracker ballet. It was really fun.
I even went all out and put makeup on.

Dressed up so pretty

Getting ready for the nutcracker ballet.

Every year Haely gets a new ornament from my mom. Between that and all the ones that she has made at daycare we decided to get a tree just for her. She loves it.

THE GLINES FAMILY CHRISTMAS TREE.
It barely fits in this little space, but I made it work. This is the first year in our 10 years of Christmas' together as a family that we have had a real tree. It was fun to go and pick it out.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

The San Diego Chargers game

Nothing better then a live NFL game, after two days of relaxation and swimming at the resort, to officially start our activities of vacation.
This cheerleader kept waving a saying hi to Haely. She thought this was the coolest thing that could ever be. A real life cheerleaders. (this was the daughter of the couple sitting in front of us).

Geoff/we were having such a great time. He took lots of pictures which he loves to do and just enjoyed being out and doing something that we all love, watching football.

Sea World, The Zoo and our resort.

Our first park on the trip was sea world.
This was Haely's favorite.

And then the Zoo. This was a long day. The Zoo is 700 acres. It took ALL day to get through it. We were all exhausted, but it was fun.

The view from our balcony in our Villa. The weather was so perfect just as the sun was going down. We sat out here every night and had popsicles. A very relaxing end to each day.

This was one of many swimming pools. It was nice because this was the biggest pool and had the least amount of people at it.

A day at the beach just lounging.

Of course these two could not wait to play in the water. Then Geoff could not wait to build his first sand castle with Haely. They were having such a great time. I just laid on the beach with a magazine. It was picture perfect...

Disney Land October 2009

Haely loved the princess castle. She kept calling it a sand castle. It was cute...
This was so cool. It lit up at night.

We love Fall and Halloween (Geoff and Haely's favorite holiday) so this was fun to see all of the decorations.

One of the best parts of Disneyland for Haely was the high school musical parade in California Adventure. She is going to be a HSM cheerleader for Halloween and since all of the other kids had on their costumes we let her wear hers. She thought she was so cool.

All the lamp posts that lined the streets were decorated too.

Fantasy Land...

Reno Balloon Races

We were crazy enough to get up for 5am dawn patrol to take Haely to see the balloon races. I have been going to this since I was a kid and I loved it. Geoff, not so much and especially not at 5am, but he was a good sport for Haely. She was so "esited" to see the fire in the balloons she said. One went up in Fernley a couple of weeks ago and she thought it was so cool so I knew that she would love this.
