Celebrating Ditch Birthday

We celebrated "Ditch Birthday" last weekend. The kids love to go and explore while Aaron cuts wood.
This tradition started 4 years ago with Kailyn making a ditch birthday.

We grabbed Taco Bell and headed to Candee Lane.

Wyatt is our comic relief lately. He makes us laugh and he loves it when he does. Last Sunday I told him he needed to change. He pulled at his white shirt and said, "Mom, you have to help me take my chokie off!" Whenever I am buttoning it up he yells, "Chokie, Chokie, Chokie!"

Ashley's Birthday

Ashley's 9 years old!

Emily made her a great hat.
She had a fun birthday - I didn't get a picture of her new bike but it is cute and seems so big. Luckily we have had great weather so she has been able to ride it and figure out the new brakes!

We love having Ashley in our family! I can't believe she isn't a little girl anymore! She is learning to sew, she helps with the cooking and even has a few things she can do by herself, she loves to read and re-reads books over and over, she watches over her brothers and sisters and makes sure they are safe and she is continuing to do so well on the violin - she is starting to learn some fun techniques that make songs sound so fun. We love you Ashley!
