Quantum leap

My first computer dated back to 1994 has an Cyrix(IBM) 100mhz processor, 16mb EDO RAM @ 66mhz,  ibm hard disk capacity of 384mb,  5.25inch & 3.5inch floppy disk drives, 2x CD-ROM, running on windows 3.1, with no Internet connection (or not yet commercialized)

My current com has a 2667mhz x 4  (quad-core) processor, 3gb ram @ 1600mhz, 2TB hdd, 32x DVD writer, running on windows 7 with 30mbps of Internet access.

My first purchased hdd back in 1995 was a Quantum bigfoot 4gb @ cost of 400Bucks ($100/gb)

Last wk, i got a 1TB  (1000gb) Hitachi hdd @ only 75Bucks!!! (1333.333x cheaper @ $0.075/gb) 

Tat was only 15years apart, technology advancement is amazingly fast, i can only use "Quantum Leap" to describe it.

At this rate, we might be able to teleport through space in our lifetime (I seriously hope we can)

Creative bokeh :)

was trying out an interesting technique of shooting bokeh(aka blurs)

pretty satisfy with e results but i still need a better lens for even better bokeh!

(pray: jan faster comes, along with Sigma 50mm 1.4!!!)

Its been a year since I got my 7D, with almost 20000 photos taken, its been with me through ups & downs

I believe Everything happens for a reason, & I'm glad that they did :)

Browsing through photo albums is like going through a time machine

it brings me back to e time & places they occurred

for tat I love photography

it's memory that never fades :)

i attended my first photo competition

we were given 3 themes at 3hrs intervals

theme-shoot-upload-theme-shoot-upload...

started 8am & ended 8pm

Theme 1 - Clarity

my first idea was a close up shot of a person eye but sadly i don have e macro lens needed =\

so i came up with this one:

first idea was religion related so we head down to bugis temple

we were so tired that almost gave up last session of the competition
