another update from me! Last week was madness and i could not find the time to blog. My week was practically burned out everyday and i simply was exhausted. I am glad this weekend will be more relaxing so that i can finally get some scrapping done. I have much to share but unfortunately, i did not take pictures of my commissioned wedding albums. But sticking to weddings, my good friend got married recently and I did an artist tray and ang bao box for her.
I really hope she loved them as much as i loved doing them. It was so heartwarming to see them been placed at the reception table. ((: Its a new chapter in her life and i am glad. I hope to be back to share more. For now, i am finally embarking on my SMASH Book. I will be back shortly to share some pages. (:

Bright and Cheery
It is great to wake up on a Monday morning knowing that there isnt any school today. No more Monday blues to chase away.. This week would be a nice time to catch up on preparation for Term 2 as well as some time devoted to myself. So far, i have been scrapping a lot. Just this weekend alone, i have completed 2 layouts and 1 album. I will need to prep for a wedding tray later and spend some good 2-3 days completing it. I cant wait to surprise the bribe with it. More on that later..
I thought i would do a little update on my 'current favourites' since it has been long since i last did a post like this. It would be nice to share some product reviews and tools that i am crazy about now. :D
Favourite ink: *drumroll....*
It is a tie between Tim Holtz's frayed burlap and iced spruce. You got to try these if you havent. Frayed Burlap has a more subtle vintage feel than brushed codoroy and iced spruce simply makes all your paper edges feel like CHRISTMAS. :D
Favourite tool: Prima Comfort Craft Distressing Tool
Prior to this, i used to use my MM sand block to make my papers edged or use my hands to tear the papers. With this tool, i think i saved all of my problems in one shot. It is able to distress papers in so many different ways. I am so glad i grabbed it once it hit the stores last year. :D
Favourite adhesive: This and That Sticky Red Tape
One of my favourite scrapper, Kristina Werner has been raving about this sticky double sided tape for the longest time. It is so true! It sticks so well that you dont need to worry about your papers falling out. Highly recommended. My first roll is almost gone. :/
Favourite stamp: The next two layouts say it all.. Used the same MME's stamp on both of these layouts. I am in love with the sweet stamp quote. :D
So have a good Monday morning. Wherever you may be, I hope you have a great week ahead. :D

This is Me..
Finally an update from me after such a long time. 9 weeks have passed and next week would be the last week of school. It is going to be a super long and busy week, considering that i have camp next weekend.
This weekend has been somewhat special, considering that my parents are overseas and i have the whole house to myself. It was good to finally set aside some good quality time to scrap. Apart from that, it was good to hit TOWN to get some shopping done. I have been buying a lot and have been spending some time using my new CHA papers on commissioned work and the recent SB classes at work. i was SERIOUSLY ITCHING to do a layout for myself. So finally, i got my hands on using some of my favourite papers from Prima for this layout. This is for the March 1st Challenge @ OnceUponASketch too.
I was quite excited about this challenge considering that we had to scrap about ourselves. I figured it would be a great opportunity to scrap about reflections of turning 26 this year.
"At 26, i am someone who tries to live life to the fullest, tries to treasure the loved ones around me and is confident that God provides for the future."
So this is Me! Turning one year older is never easy and sometimes i worry for what is in store for me but I am confident that God provies in his own ways and He will be there every step of the way. (: And .. this scrapbooking style is very ME! How far have I come from when i first started.. but i am liking how I have evolved as a scrapper. (:
Have a great week ahead.
I am off to pick my folks up from the airport.
