remember, my loves

This was a layout i did after taking a break from alterable products. I am trying to get it posted but blogger keeps rotating my pictures the wrong way! rawr. I will share this first. Background paper is from Prima Marketing and i used Sassafras PP to blend and to use for die cuts.

I am a big fan of Sassafras and i cant stop using the papers. Got to change, honestly. I am quite a minimalistic kind of scrapper, simply because i want to make sure i dont use up too much PP, especially on those papers i love.

Pictures of Tff, pictures taken at our last meeting. Lynn's jacket really matched the overall green base so hence, i decided to use all three 2Rs pictures. I love how it came out.

my little pirate

I did this 12x12 L0 of Kate. The base was from DCWV all about boys pirate ship and i got inspired on how i was going to work on it after i saw kate' pics of what she wore on sunday morning. She looks so cute in the blue 'pirate' hat and that sparks off the inspiration to join these two elements together.

Together with it, came the idea to cut out the birds and the tree branches to give it a very POTC look. Since this was to participate in Aida's Dare to Tear Challenge, i did my first hand on tearing the sides of the paper to give it a more rustic feel. I like how it turned out.

First

I thought about it for a very long time and i decided that creating another blog outside my own personal blog will be a great avenue to share about my scrapping journey. Just like i started on blogskins, this will be another chapter in which i am going to develop my creativity.

Scrapbooking is a passion and even though i love shopping for scrap papers and embellishments, it is the joy of making something out of your stash that makes it so fulfilling. I love documenting about daily life and special events that happen. These will help to record what has happened and i can look back all of these when i'm old.

So let it begin.
