Bobo's getting old...??

That's toot's pet. It was named after my last dog, 'Bobo'! Whenever, Jie and her family went on a trip she will bring bobo over for a holiday too. It was a very obedient pet. If u try to release it from it cage, it will run back to where u took it out... neva attempt to run away from its cage.





During the last few days of stay, it has been coughing quite badly. I asked Jie and got to know that it was sick. The vet has deduced that bobo will probably leave us anytime if the lung (cough caused by the weak lung) is still not getting any better.

So sad right...

Waraku de Pasta @ Central

She's back! She's back!
Though she's on vocation but Janice will be here till march. Someone gotta call the shot so I took up the role. I got em on msn and arranged for a meetup over the weekend coz Ceci was neva available on weekdays due to her constraint at work. Haiz.. 9mths ago she gotta stay back in the office till 8, 9pm in her previous coy (fyi no OT k)! Now lagi worst, though higher pay (still no OT claim k) but frequently gotta stay till wee hrs to submit the Ad!!! -Gosh-

I sent out a sms this morning to meet Ceci at Hougang station at 12.45pm but end up the lady was waiting for me at kovan station instead though she had acknowledged my sms. -Faint-

Lunch! But where neh?
In the end, all 3 agreed on Waraku De Pasta. Terrific!! coz I miss out this on 2 trips here due to the killer q-ing crowd especially during dinner time. -LOL-

Very appetizing mini salad that came with the lunch set. Those who are closer to my heart will know that I dun fancy cabbages but eventually the salad dressing caught my appetite!

Gratin Seafood, this dish is simply awesome!

Anything that has seafood, beef.. etc, Ceci will neva want to try them. So she ordered the Waraku style of Carbonara Pasta.

and Janice settled for Cream Salmon and Spinach.

Like I said, Ceci neva like seafood and dun even wanna give a try. Make a guess wat she did with the 2 thingy on the pizza?... Well... we got extras lor!!!! -diaoz-

Overall the food was great!
Now I understand why there's always ppl q-ing to come in. Despite that they gotta wait for more than 1/2hr! -no kidd u-

Next we proceed to chill out @ TCC at Clarke Quay. Our 2nd round of drinks...

We have been sharing wide range of topics from bgr, our circle of friends, work to family etc. Like wat wen has mentioned before, all these conversations during our 'chit-chat session' has subconsciously reminded us of how we moved thru this period in life. On how reality changed over the period of time as we aged, where we face the cold harsh world. But at the end of the day, it is still warming to know that all these frens still remember you and always there for you... =D

Jan finally learn how to play MJ liaoz. We are now looking forward to the MJ session but gotta fit into Ms Chua's schedule. -Muhahahah-

She got us each a keychain but I kapo-ed 2 of it. I took the pink camouflage mickey and the clover leaf design.

I took half day leave to...

Lunch with my sis in town today. Toot had a laser surgery appointment at paragon earlier to laser away the 'wart' growing on her foot. It looks and feel like corn/callouses (hard patches of skin) hers was quite serious le coz it has oredi developed a black dot which they defined it as 'eyes'. (FYI, 'wart' is a hard rough lump growing on the skin, probably caused by infection with certain viruses and occurring typically on either the hands or feet.)

Done with the lunch, I turned around and asked...
Me: Toot, wanna go back with me tonight? We can ask Mel to go over if u'r bored.

Jie: Mel went to her orientation camp. Will only be back tmr afternoon.

Me: Oh yeah... then how toot? Still wanna come?

Toot: Anything

Jie: ??? *eyebrown raised*

Jie: U sure u wanna go back with yee yee?? She still wanna go shopping know?

Toot: ya la.. anything.

Jie: So surprised that she will want to go back with you leh.

Me: hahahhaha, coz '我人缘好'!!!

Despite the bandage around her foot, she still accompanied me to shop leaving my sis to go back and packed her 3 nights stay clothings and return to fetch us back to Punggol.

Jie showed me how to cleanse her wound b4 she left.

Dat night, I brought the kid to Compass point for dinner. To escape the food court crowd, we decided to dine at the Soup restaurant since there's a shorter q.

We ordered simple dishes

My sis has been complaining about her hair coz Toot neva like dramatic change in her hairstyle. She afraid dat her classmate will laugh at her so norm she keeps her the same hairstyle thruout the whole season. Tonight i'm gonna change away her nerdy look. -hiak hiak-

We chosen the $10 hair salon.

We waited outside for our q number after purchasing the tix from the machine.

Got the hairdresser to layer and shorten her fringe.

Here I am after fetching my sis and family from the airport. They just got back from Hokkaido *envy* Wonder when will I get the chance to visit dat country. Hopefully not when my hair turns white and wrinkles embark all over my face. =)

In fact, the whole night we ordered 3 rounds of chicken wings. First was LTS... followed by WIT (came bout an hour later) and lastly, DVL (came bout 8plus 9)!! Actually I didn't catch a glimpse of the menu, just wonder y all ordered the same dish when I presumed that there are other choices.

I luff this cranberry juice. Very concentrated!

The boss gave us this complimentary jug of beer. Guess we'r the only supporting table who idle around from 5pm to 11pm

Those who did not turn up tonight was gwen, FLX, RDY, ZEE, ADR and OOH. Hopefully all will make an effort to show up at the next outing.

Merry Christmas 2007

It's 24th December 2007!
Yeah! This day has finally arrived!!!

After searching high and low for the pressie, I finally bot it ytd!! Hopefully the one who get it find it useful then -grin-

First thing in the morning I went down to fairprice to get sweet potatoes and lean pork loin for tonight potluck bbq. Thanks to the cajun spice and various sauces I've found in the kitchen, I dare to say the pork was very well marinated. Next, was to wrap up the pressie!

Jiang jiang!!!

Siang reached the park at 5.30pm to seize a good location. When ah dee and I arrived there, 1st sentence that came outta Siang was, 'I wanna go toilet! Had been enduring since 6pm lor'. I looked at my watch, it was oredi 6.30pm. He sure had a gd endurance level. -lol-

While waiting for the rest, the 3 hunks (eddie, dez and siang) started to feel hungry and tucked into Dez's box of roast duck. Soon after all reached and quickly we done up the place in groups.

I must admit that Ah dee is expertise in fire starting! Within mins, he get the fire lit up beautifully.

Almost done with the tasks, these hungry men start to help themselves to the 'bee hoon' (courtesy from SX's mon) first.

Arrival of Dez's gf, Xiaohui. It was her first x'mas celebration with us. Thumbs up for her for being so spontaneous.

Exactly 1hr before the clock struck 12mn. We'd some games awaiting for us!

Overall, I would said it was fun but somehow a little sandy and hot for the night. I wud prefer to be in loose clothing for all these running games instead. Anyway the main objective was to build rapport and bond between us.

Kenny got mine (Nike shoebag) and I got ShaoXing's (soft keyboard)

The rest were toilet roll dispenser+condom container (siang), towel set (xiaohui), Dubai's HRC mug (eddie) carpet (nic), calendar (HL), recycle bags+passport+card holder (kenny + peggy), traveller mattress (dez).

Not forgetting dat we contributed 2 doru each for the game prizes. The two creative planners (nic+jo) had prepared us a prize for our applaudable effort in the games.

And guess wat I've got?? CLOTH HANGERS!! It's something useful and dat's exactly wat I need for my recent festive loots. -Muhahahah-
