woohooo!! first book out!!
training proper officially starts tomorrow..

the past week was purely drilling us for the ceremony on friday...

YAY to alicia's quick recovery!! her ankle is getting better! :D
and yesterday i get to blow my first birthday candle!

i got posted to police OCT INSP!!

but at least the camp is near my house, and im a officer cadet trainee! :)

it never ceases to amaze me :)

yesterday we to eat xlb dinner! sk guards is good! LOL! ready to strike :)
though i finally met up with them, i still dont feel right..
somehow it feels like i've did something wrong..

its so easy to get used to civilian life i swear..
4 months of army life cant beat just 3 days at home!

finally, 4 months of training is over!
with effect from 2nd october 2010 onwards, i've officially graduated from BMTC!
03/10 cohort, first batch of 7th coy, and proud to be a 4311 from 7th coy!
this is the point where everyone will get posted into different units and for whatever reasons, we might not see some of us again..
the 24click road march was... one of the most boring march ever..
unable to do anything but to eat and talk to your buddy..
but with an end in mind, we all finished it with all the abrasions, pains, aches and whatsoever that was inflicted upon us throughout the long march..
when i finally reached my end point, i cant help but to lie flat on the ground (F1 race track) and sleep there, just like that.. fatigue sets in almost immediately and whatever i do, i blacked out any moment.. and that explains the missing fish fillet from my burger when i fall asleep for an instant, and found it lying on the ground...
you can almost imagine my (T.T) face when i see my fillet on the floor..
tired as we are, the moment we stepped out of the holding area, when the parade proper starts, everyone summoned the last of their strength, to perform a memorable and BEAUTIFUL parade for their families, loved ones and not forgetting, all of the commanders who taught us many stuff and who stick with us till the end, regardless of our nonsense and everything..
a big thank you to all of my commanders, sir glenn, sgt hoechuan, sgt king, sgt jasper, sgt shawn, and not forgetting sgt ken, sgt raja and sgt hazwan!
my bmt life was unforgettable because i got stuck with such awesome company, platoon, section, commanders and many many more!
i couldn't possibly ask for more..
thank you everyone!
this may be where we part, or this may be where we begin.
but no matter and regardless, i will remember you all, to the best of my abilities!
im going to miss my section 3 the most!
the jokes (be it racist or not),
the shooting of one another (or rather shooting of yeening),
the sharing of food on the table with everyone (AHEM AHEM!),
the goodnights we say to one another (sleep IC!)
many many more,
and not forgetting,
the moments when we pushed one another on, for silver, pass, completion of tasks, marches, whatever.
sorry toh for powder attacking you on the last day, but maybe its time for you to smell nicer a little?
no hard feelings, we all love you all the same!
and thanks stupid vicky (kiwiman!) for smearing colgate on my shirt and arm!
hahaha!
how can i ever repay you for that?
i dont know what others might think about this, but i do get emotional sometimes,
and its moments like this that makes my heart twist.
twist for joy, and twist for the unbearable separation.
i hope that we all could get posted to the same unit, stuck together again, i really don't mind!
if only we could go through 2 years of army life like this together, with the same commanders same old recruits around...
enough of all these, everyone gets my message!
to 7th company, platoon 4,
regardless of you being a (ex)recruit or (ex)commanders, or commanders,
may all of us enjoy whats ahead and all the best to everyone!
guys, push on, hold on, and lets all strive!
may we meet at some crossroads again!
