Desde que me lembro que tive uma paixão e um interesse pela natureza e especialmente pela diversidade s multidões fervilhantes e altamente complexas que são os insectos de maneira que mesmo antes de tirar um curso de Biologia na Faculdade de Ciências de Lisboa já me interessava por estes animais, tendo um especial interesse e conhecimento pelas Borboletas.
Assim sendo, é a este grupo que me dedico numa perspectiva de Conservação e aumento do conhecimento sobre elas e os seus habitats em conflito com o Homem o que já me levou a inúmeros lugares pelo mundo fora e me permitiu conhecer situações e realidades distintas.
Através da fotografia de Natureza pretendo alertar para a perda de biodiversidade e mostrar quão fantástico pode ser o mundo longe do conforto e artificialidade das nossas casas, longe das nossas realidades mas tão perto da nossa alma...
