Of course, she uses legalistic BS to say the above so your average TV viewing yahoo won't get it, yet every senator in the room with half a brain got it... I'm not sure if Frankin did.
Below is Lindsey Graham's opening statement from yesterday. He reminds us of what the Presidents standards were when others came up for confirmation to the Supreme Court:

Justice Ginsberg: Abortion was Legalized to Limit the Population of Yucky People
You see folks, this is how the liberal mind works. In an interview with the New York Times, Supreme Court Justice Ginsberg had to say this about abortion:
"Frankly, I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of."Now, normally, these kinds of sick attitudes are kept under wraps because us "stupid" Conservatives simply don't have the sophisticated Liberal capacity to rationalize this sort of thing. But every once in a while there is a slip of the tongue, revealing what really goes on in their perverted minds.
In addition to the moral depravity of killing babies to limit the population of undesirables, Ginsberg implies that the Constitution was not the primary guide for the decision, but a simple policy concern "about population growth". She seems to have no problem with unelected judges addressing policy concerns, the Constitution be dammed.

Obama Appoints a Stone Cold Racist to US Supreme Court
UPDATE: Obama administration warns people to "be exceeding careful" about how you criticize his supreme court nominee. To take a page from Jenine Garafalo, President Obama appointed a 'stone cold' racist and intellectual lightweight to the US Supreme Court this morning. Hell, she's even a mamber of an organization called "The Race". Judge Sonia Sotomayor openly supports racial preferences and states that the Court is "where policy is made." Forget elected representatives, democracy and all that nonsense, policy in her mind is set by unelected, appointed judges.
In 2001 she openly stated that the ethnicity and sex of a judge “may and will make a difference in our judging.” Continuing on a rampage, she then went on to say that “I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male.” Judge Sotomayor then questioned whether achieving impartiality “is possible in all, or even, in most, cases.” She added, “And I wonder whether by ignoring our differences as women or men of color we do a disservice both to the law and society.” In other words, let's remove the blindfold from Lady Justice and tip that scale she is holding. But it gets worse: “to judge is an exercise of power” and that “there is no objective stance but only a series of perspectives.” Again, NO OBJECTIVE STANCE. That was certainly the case when she threw out a serious discrimination case with a single sentence. Certainly she is correct that "to judge is to exercise power," and placing unrestrained power in the hands of a self-described nonobjective person, with clear raciest tendencies may be what the Reverend Wright and Obama would approve of but most Americans would not.
