Following a complaint by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, Israel's Ambassador to Washington Michael Oren was summoned to an emergency weekend meeting at the US State Department where he was told that the Obama administration wanted Israel to put an end to work at the site of the privately owned Shepherd's Hotel in the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah.

Israel thankfully told the President to F*#k off. With all the problems in the world, this US President wants to A) Sit on the Zoning Commission of the Jerusalem Municipality; and B) Act as the Palestinian Presidents lap-dog-lawyer.

This is the man that American Jews voted for President. Good lord!

Israel needs to be self sufficient, and those 20% of us American Jews who actually support Israel, should express our monetary and moral support directly whenever possible, bypassing these American Jewish organizations.

Obama: "I Have the Blood of Africa Within Me"

It is one thing to have pride in ones background. It is quite another thing to loudly focus on how the "blood" of ones race runs through you. Isn't African blood, Aryan blood, Jewish blood, European blood, Asian Blood... etc... all red? The Presidents public proclamations about the ethnic "Blood" that "runs through him" seems a little creepy and would be totally unacceptable if there wasn't such a double standard that this President is held to. And where would our President possibly have learned that focusing on his "African blood" is to be encouraged? Perhaps 20 years of listening to this, had its effect.

Obama "Meddles" in Honduras Internal Affairs, Sides With Chavez

The Leftist President of Honduras who was attempting to pull a 'Chavez,' was ousted from office today. the President wanted a "referendum" to bypass the country's constitution and allow him to run for "reelection," ala Hugo Chavez in Venezuela. Indeed, Manuel Zelaya is a close ally of Chavez, Castro and Ortega.

The Honduran Supreme Court ruled the constitution-circumventing referendum to be illegal and everyone from Congress, the military, and members of his own party opposed it.

Enter Barack Obama. "I am deeply concerned by Zelaya's expulsion... I call on all political and social actors in Honduras to respect democratic norms, the rule of law and the tenets of the Inter-American Democratic Charter." Hmmm. meddling in Iran or anywhere in the Muslim world is a bad thing. Meddling on behalf of Chavez, Castro and Obama's lefty pals is a good thing. Wow!

Elliot Abrams: Hillary Is a Liar

In 'diplomat speak,' Elliot Abrams simply says that "Hillary is wrong" when she asserts that there was no agreement between the United State and Israel on settlement expansion. Of course, in real-world speak, he is calling her a liar, and he more than anyone is in a position to know. Mr. Abrams handled all Middle East affairs at the National Security Council from 2001 to 2009.

"In recent weeks, American officials have denied that any agreement on settlements existed. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated on June 17 that "in looking at the history of the Bush administration, there were no informal or oral enforceable agreements. That has been verified by the official record of the administration and by the personnel in the positions of responsibility."

These statements are incorrect. Not only were there agreements, but the prime minister of Israel relied on them in undertaking a wrenching political reorientation -- the dissolution of his government, the removal of every single Israeli citizen, settlement and military position in Gaza, and the removal of four small settlements in the West Bank. This was the first time Israel had ever removed settlements outside the context of a peace treaty, and it was a major step.

It is true that there was no U.S.-Israel "memorandum of understanding," which is presumably what Mrs. Clinton means when she suggests that the "official record of the administration" contains none. But she would do well to consult documents like the Weissglas letter, or the notes of the Aqaba meeting, before suggesting that there was no meeting of the minds.

Mrs. Clinton also said there were no "enforceable" agreements. This is a strange phrase. How exactly would Israel enforce any agreement against an American decision to renege on it? Take it to the International Court in The Hague?

Regardless of what Mrs. Clinton has said, there was a bargained-for exchange. Mr. Sharon was determined to break the deadlock, withdraw from Gaza, remove settlements -- and confront his former allies on Israel's right by abandoning the "Greater Israel" position to endorse Palestinian statehood and limits on settlement growth. He asked for our support and got it, including the agreement that we would not demand a total settlement freeze.

For reasons that remain unclear, the Obama administration has decided to abandon the understandings about settlements reached by the previous administration with the Israeli government. We may be abandoning the deal now, but we cannot rewrite history and make believe it did not exist."

Abram's article in today's Wall Street Journal clarifies why the Obama administration is not to be trusted, and should be treated by every US ally as hostile and untrustworthy until proven otherwise. Until now, the only countries that have something to celebrate from the Obama administration are enemy states and terrorist entities (Think Chavez, Ortega, Castro, Ahamadinejad... etc...)

Instead of Ahmedinejad, Obama Should be Seeking a Meeting With Mousavi.

"Change" is an empty slogan. Instead of propping up the legitimacy of crazy Ahmedinejad, Obama Should be publicly seeking a meeting with Mousavi. That would be powerful symbolism Instead of constantly talking about how he wants to reach out to Iran's illegitimate, murderous regime, perhaps Obama should be reaching out to the forces of democracy, tolerance and pluralism as represented by the demonstrators. Why does this president insist on recognizing the most extreme Islamist elements in Iran as the legitimate governing body there? By reaching out to Ahamedinejad's government he is defacto recognizing its authority over the people of Iran, seeking freedom at great risk to their own lives. And "neutrality"? Only Obama would find "neutral" ground between the arsonist and the fire department. Why don't you stand with Neda Mr. President, instead of defacto standing with her murderers? For some convoluted idea of "balance", and the "right tone".

Only 6% of Israelis Consider Obama Pro-Israel

GOOD LORD!!!! It seems that Israelis are a little less naive than American Jews, collectively the dumbest block of voters in America. Of course, Obama can turn things around, but as it stands right now, he's right up there with Saddam Hussein and Kim Jung Ill as far as his "pro-Israel" credentials are concerned. Ok, maybe that's a slight exaggeration. In any event, expectations are about as low as they have ever gotten for an American President in Israel, with only 6% viewing him as "pro-Israel". Move over Jimmy Carter, there's a new Middle East "expert" in town. The below poster is plastered on many walls across Israel. I do not find them to be fair, although they would be perfectly fair in relation to Obama's mentor of 20 years, the Reverend Wright.Meanwhile, a new scientific survey documents that American Jews' favorite political party are twice as likely to blame "Jews" for the current economic crisis. You cannot make this stuff up. Stupid is as stupid does.

Barack Obama illegally fired an Inspector General who was investigating his close friend Kevin Johnson for fraud and abuse of funds. When confronted, the administration claims they fired him because he's senile. OH MY GOD!!! Obama's Spiritual Mentor: "Them Jews Aren't Going to Let Him Talk to Me"

Supporters will call it "refreshing", critics will call it "undignified" for a President. I'm not sure what to think, although I have never seen a picture of a US President quite like this. Then we have the President giving us the soles of his shoes while conversing with international leaders. He is putting his shoes on the Resolute Desk, a truly historic piece of furniture that would be sitting at the Smithsonian if it was not in the Oval office underneath Obama's shoes.
Anyway, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is convinced that the Obama administration is seeking a public confrontation with Israel to gain street-cred in the Arab world. This, as Israel's Strategic Affairs Minister Moshe Ya'alon belittles Obama's Iran policy. Amazingly, Obama opposes nuclear power in the United States, but supports Iran's "right" to nuclear power. WOW!

Obama Adminstration: Thugs at Polling Stations are A-OK

Obama Justice Department political appointees overruled career lawyers and ended a civil complaint against three members of the New Black Panther Party for wielding nightsticks and intimidating voters at a Philadelphia polling place last Election Day. Apparently, the Obama administration has no problem with its supporters wielding weapons at polling places like in Zimbabwe. Welcome to Obama's America. You make the call:

Obama Appoints a Stone Cold Racist to US Supreme Court

UPDATE: Obama administration warns people to "be exceeding careful" about how you criticize his supreme court nominee.

To take a page from Jenine Garafalo, President Obama appointed a 'stone cold' racist and intellectual lightweight to the US Supreme Court this morning. Hell, she's even a mamber of an organization called "The Race". Judge Sonia Sotomayor openly supports racial preferences and states that the Court is "where policy is made." Forget elected representatives, democracy and all that nonsense, policy in her mind is set by unelected, appointed judges.

In 2001 she openly stated that the ethnicity and sex of a judge “may and will make a difference in our judging.” Continuing on a rampage, she then went on to say that “I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male.” Judge Sotomayor then questioned whether achieving impartiality “is possible in all, or even, in most, cases.” She added, “And I wonder whether by ignoring our differences as women or men of color we do a disservice both to the law and society.” In other words, let's remove the blindfold from Lady Justice and tip that scale she is holding. But it gets worse: “to judge is an exercise of power” and that “there is no objective stance but only a series of perspectives.” Again, NO OBJECTIVE STANCE. That was certainly the case when she threw out a serious discrimination case with a single sentence. Certainly she is correct that "to judge is to exercise power," and placing unrestrained power in the hands of a self-described nonobjective person, with clear raciest tendencies may be what the Reverend Wright and Obama would approve of but most Americans would not.

Netanyahu: Only Israel Will Remove the Iranian Nuclear Threat. Obama Will Not.

Speaking before Likud party loyalists:

"Israel is not like other countries... We are faced with security challenges that no other country faces, and our need to provide a response to these is critical, and we are answering the call.... These are not regular times. The danger is hurtling toward us. The real danger is underestimating the threat... My job is first and foremost to ensure the future of the state of Israel ... the leadership's job is to eliminate the danger. Who will eliminate it? It is us or no one".

Of course, when Netanyahu says "no one", he means immoral people who have a tendency to bow and grovel before the worst sort of despots:
Here is how the politician Obama will play it: He will not deal with Iran's nuclear program and will by default force Israel to do the job. If things go well, he will weasel in on the credit, hinting at behind the scenes maneuvers, winks and nods and "green lights" and such. If things go badly, he will of course express "disappointment" in Israel and point to his administrations earlier "warnings" about the consequences. That's what passes for "leadership" in the US these days.

Meanwhile, it looks like the American President's new friends are selling uranium to Iran. Maybe he can charm them into behaving nicely, like he charmed a hopelessly gullible Jewish community into voting for him.

World Falling Apart Under Obama's Nose

North Korea explodes a nuke, which will now spark an Asian nuclear arms race; A nuclear armed Pakistan is collapsing as we speak; Iran Is on the verge of producing nuclear weapons while calling for the destruction of another country, and today sent five warships into international waters. Nobody knows if North Korea or Pakistan have already transferred nukes to Iran, Syria or even Hezbollah. We know they were in the process of building a nuclear reactor in Syria. Sunni Arab nations fearing Iran are all shopping for their own nuke programs.

And what is Obama's priority? That Kindergartens should not be built for little Jewish children in certain areas. Obama plans to continue his Islam apology tour in Cairo next week. Stay tuned.
