Diving!

Finally, I've learnt how to dive. This post is about a month late but oh well, better late than never. This was our diving itinery:

Programme for Tioman trip 3D/2N 15th to 17th May

Day 1 0730 hrs – coach departs from NUS SRC
1130 hrs – arrival Mersing & have lunch, depart for Tioman
1430 hrs – arrival Tioman & check in to chalets
1500 hrs – Dive #1 and dinner

0900 hrs – dive #2
1200 hrs – lunch at the resort

Day 3 0800 hrs - rise & shine, breakfast
0900 hrs – dive #4 & #5
1300 hrs – lunch at the resort
1400 hrs – dive boat departs for Mersing
1700 hrs – dinner in Mersing (own expense)
1800 hrs – coach departs & arrive Singapore by 2100 hrs.

The first day was quite cool, we went down about 7 meters to try our "test" and I swear I thought I was going to drown when my mouth piece came off. But its over, and after which we had our theory "test". Why I put the quotation marks its because er well, we were all generous with our answers. :)

The second day was rather horrible and we all thought that diving was probably not our sport. But I think it was the weather that dampened our spirits, it was raining and we kept getting clobbered in the head, so we felt so sick afterwards, but it all turns out that it was for the best when the 3rd day arrived.

Time really flies, and before we knew it we were going home. The third day was the best, the water was so clear even though the current was rather strong. We say many types of sea creatures but because were the last group to jump in, we didnt get to see the sharks or the sea turtles. Group 1 and 2 must have scared them off!!! X(

And the underwater camera was not exactly very good, the pictures came out ahem.. horrible.

On a different topic...

These are the only two pictures I have of them together. Didn't take them well summore, regret... :(

Can you see Mylo smirking at Shelley who is just trying to sleep? He always disturbs her!!

Itadakimasu!

Basket, cannot cut and paste from another blog, must add the pictures one by one. FINE. I'm just too lazy to write it in my own words. Here's what Wen wrote. :D And yes, I havent updated this blog in a long time. But well here's an update, a cheater bug one :P

Belle and i met up today, and we decided to go eat the Teatime Buffet that Sakae Sushi was offering. We were starving when we first got there! But we got there at 2.52pm, so they we had to wait till 3pm shart before we could start. So when we could finally start eating....At 3.20pm:

And then here is us again at around 4pm:

It was at 3.20pm that we started calculating and concluded that in order to make our money worth it, we needed to eat at least 7-8 plates each. ( Yes, we are kiasu Singaporeans, and auntie at that, so sue us:P) But we decided to eat 20 plates instead! In order to chalk up the number of plates we had, we decided to go for the beans:

And those beans were so sly! They were slippery on purpose! They kept getting away from us! Popping out of their skins with such fervor that they landed under our table! Here's them thinking they can blend into the floor and avoid consumption:

Well, we finally gave up trying to hit the big 2-0 because when we ordered the miso soup, the silly waiter took away our plates! And we couldn't bring ourselves to swallow another morsel >.> Here's our final count:

And then we decided to go for desserts too! 2 servings of fruits, and 2 servings of mochi dumplings. Strawberry and honeydew flavoured:

But after we ate the watermelon and one mochi dumpling each we started to feel bloody bloated (Alliteration! Mwee!^^). So belle decided to "doggie-bag" the remaining two strawberry mochi dumplings which were staring up at us with accusing looks from their delightfully blue plate. Just as i reached down to scoop up the final mouthful of mochi from my plate, i looked up and saw this:

I tell you man! Belle's damn freaking fast! When i looked up she was already zipping up her bag lah! Basket! I swear belle can get a bloody 5-finger discount anywhere if she so chooses!Oh and belle and i ate more than the 7 school boys next to us! WAHAHAH! I mean comparatively of course. Seven secondary school boys only ate 32 plates and were boasting about it. Belle and i ate 20 plates between us! Haha!Anyway, i would've put up this picture of both of us looking cheerful and showing the 'V' for victory sign... But trust me when i say that after the meal,we were feeling anything BUT victorious. Conclusion? Stuffing yourself silly just isn't worth it. Hahhahahaha! On hindsight of course!:P"Oh my god. I'm not going to eat sushi for a LONG time. Tomorrow maybe." - belle

Of course these are the two measly morsels that we took, but they sure did look like mountains when you are stuffed:

OK! Done. :D

The Key to .... Freedom?

Yes. I turn 21 today. Should I be happy or sad? :P

So many things are happening today. Lets see, exams are over and I rejoice. The STALKER called me again. Shelley is getting used to home and Mylo is accepting her. So that's great, although she still needs to lose weight and I hope she accepts Mylo soon too.

I finally started playing with the SEGA and Nintendo emulator! Woot! Memories of the times where 16 bit video games ruled.

Many of you asked me why I didnt go out. Well firstly, there is no where to go, secondly, I have alot of errands to run. So I'm pooped and ready to bum.

But more importantly, I want to thank all my friends, especially those whom I've known for more than ten thousand years. (Well, it does feel like it) You guys have been great to me all these years, and I just want to say I LOVE YOU GUYS very much. All of you, really. *huggles* And you know I never lie ;0) (except when I really have to, especially when avoiding people I am scared of :p)

DOGS

YAY! We got another Sheltie. She was given away by her owner who is moving to Taiwan. I am so not concentrating on my books today... :P

Mylo is so excited, but she is rather nervous. Her name's Sheltie... but we are going to think of another name for her.

Science and Technology

Questions that I spotted actually came out, which is not really a good thing though it may SEEM like it is. The questions are difficult and causes the argument to run in circles. Not that I didnt know how to answer them, but I dont think I answered them very well.

Fate is so unkind, of all the numbers and seating arrangements, they must add and line up till he is sitting right next to me... -_-''' Not one table infront, behind but right smack next to me.

Feng was telling me to go buy 4-d, and knowing my luck, I probably wont win with those seat numbers or just miss by one number. Talk about counting your lucky stars.
