Trip to Utah for Brad's graduation and my mom and dad's 60th wedding anniversary

When we flew into SLC for the weekend...surprise...Jack, Owen, Nick and Kara were there at the luggage to surprise us..it truly was a surprise and I loved it so much! As you can see, they helped us with our luggage, then they got to ride the bus with us over to ger our rental car, and then....we stopped at the mall to meet up with aunt Heather, where we had a little hat show... So fun to be with all of them.

Todd's Daughter Chandra's Wedding

We went down to Solvang Ca. to see Chandra get married. It was at a very cute Bed and Breakfast setting. It was exactly how she wanted it.

After the wedding, we were able to take a day and play at Universal Studio's. We had a great time. We rented a PT Cruiser convertible, and it was a little more sun that what Todd could handle, so he bought this "Cool" hat. He looked like a dork, but it served the purpose of keeping his head from burning to a crisp.

More Hawaii Fun

Not sure what the order of these pictures are going to be...I'm a very new blogger! So I will just tell you about them and you can figure out which is which! I truly snorkeled, who would have ever thought, yes, I needed a life jacket as well as Jan's total support, but I still did it. I also went out in the ocean, by myself, without a life vest or a friend, look at me, I was about 5 feet back...proof, my arms are out of the water!
We went to Turtle Beach, and sure enough, HUGE turtle at bay!

My friend Jan Jordan went with us. We left at 3 a.m. and this was hours after we had been traveling and just arrived in Honolulu. I was so excited to see Hawaii. I will add more pictures that show how much I loved it. I couldn't get enough of it!

Trip to Disneyland with Cameron and his High School Band

I was lucky enough to be one of the chaperone's for Cam's High School Band Summer trip this year. We rode buses, went to Disneyland, Six Flags, did a parade in some little town, spent a day in Santa Cruse at the beach and did a lot of other fun little things along the way. We had a really great time. Bus ride and all. And yes, this is a picture of me with Cam on a roller coaster ride at six flags. I was not smiling when I got off, so good we got the picture in the beginning.

Todd's grandmother was laid to rest

My dearest grandmother past away at 94 years old. I loved her and she meant the world to me it was hard to see her go I will miss her. I remmber all the thing she taught me as a young man by her great wisdom and love for her grand children. Here is her small house, one that was not too big and fancy but full of love and laughter and always welcome to whom ever walked through the doors. I was proud to be able to carry her to her final resting place until we meet again I love you.

As well all know Nedra took Kenzie to Hawaii to start Her college life at school. They both had a great time and a life long memories of that experience.
