Breaking News!!

Hunter hasn't been himself for the past two days.. he hasn't been his happy self and he has been fussy. He had me up at 6:30am this morning, I fed him, played with him, and put him in his swing for a nap. When he woke up I went over to say hello. I decided to check his gums because there had been some swelling. I opened his mouth and what did I see... A TOOTH! He got angry when I tried to open his mouth so I stuck my finger inside and sure enough I felt the top of his first bottom tooth. I had mixed emotions.... I was happy but at the same time I was sad because its another sign my baby is getting big.

I ran to the phone to call his daddy to tell him the news. He said pretty soon he will be going away to college. WAHHHH!! He apologized and said he was kidding because he knew I was in an emotional state. Then he had to laugh because I got teary eyed over a first tooth!

Why oh why do they have to grow up so fast??

Happy Birthday Hunter!

My precious baby is 7 months old today. I just can't believe it. I took him to the doctor on Monday and he weighed 20 pounds, 2 ounces. He had a sinus infection and allergies so she put him on medicine. That hasn't slowed him down though. He is getting into everything as usual. He is grabbing everything he sees and everything goes in his mouth. I am still waiting for his bottom teeth to pop through. His gums are swollen so it can't be too much longer. Hunter loves going to the park to swing and he loves spending time with the other babies in our playgroup.

Hunter is no longer using his baby bathtub as you can see from the picture. He loves being free in the big tub now and playing. He cracks up when daddy splashes water on him. We are going to have so much fun with him this summer in the pool.

We have had a pretty busy day today. First, Hunter woke up and I gave him his favorite for breakfast... applesauce. Then we played in his tent for a while and then went to Sugar Land to have lunch with some friends from work. Hunter was in heaven being passed around and getting lots of attention. I have been giving him extra hugs and kisses since its his birthday but daddy always tells me that I give him way too many as it is. I told him that was not possible! :)

We are still in the process of showing our house. We have a few things pending so we shall see. They poured the concrete yesterday for our new house. It's neat to see it all coming along. I can't wait to move in!

Hello! Above you will see 2 links to some videos my mommy took of me. The first one is of me playing with my daddy. He just cracks me up. The second video is of me at the park when mommy and I went for our weekly playdate with our friends. I tell you, its a tough life.

Mommy, daddy, and I are doing good and staying busy. The house has been on the market for almost a week now and we have had a lot of people coming to see it. It's great but at the same time it's a bummer because mommy has to keep the house spotless and put away ALL of my toys every time someone wants to come over. We go run errands or go to a friends house when we have to leave. Hopefully it will sell fast! Our new house is coming right along. They are pouring the concrete next week. They are building a really neat playground down the street so I can't wait to play on that.

Mommy is in denial that I turn 7 months old in 3 days. She still thinks I am 7 lbs, 15 ozs. I am always getting into something and grabbing whatever is in my reach. I also get around by rolling over and over and over. Mommy left me on my playmat for just a minute and when she came back, I was on the other side of the room. Because of that she keeps me buckled down all of the time now... rats! I love sitting up all of the time and playing with my toys. Mommy keeps saying that I am going to be a "talker" when I get older because I love making all sorts of sounds. I still get together with my friends once a week and everyone tells me how social I am. I wonder where I got that from?

I will check in again soon. I know mommy will do another posting in a few days for my 7 month bday. :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hello! We hope everyone had a good St. Patrick's Day. We spent the day getting the house organized because it's going on the market next week. They cleaned out the garage and daddy cleaned the carpets. I just supervised. :) I am getting into everything as usual. I love sitting up all of the time now and playing with my toys. I also love rolling all over the place. I can roll from one side of the room to the other. I flip over in my crib and get fussy when I can't flip myself over but really its a trick because it gets mommy to come in and flip me back over. Then I want to play with her and not go back to sleep. hee hee.

Mommy and I have met some new friends and we meet with them once a week. It's a fun playgroup and everyone is really nice. We also go to the library once a week and that is also a lot of fun.

So as you can see, we keep pretty busy around here. We hope everyone is well and we hope to see you soon!
