I have a couple projects to share with you today:

First up is the a fun shaker card:

I combined the new Celebrate stamps and coordinating Nice and Neat dies.  I'm such a fan of bright colors and couldn't resist the Pretty Pretty Pink + Summer Sun Sequin Mixes!

My shaker card was inspired by the Little Tangles Challenge:

Next up is my Hooray card:

The Hooray Nice and Neat die is absolutely beautiful.  I love the intricate design that reminds me of paper cutting.

Next up is the FABulous Debby Hughes!

For this sweet card she combined Party Dots, Swirly Twirly Tags, and On the Strip. Love the free style collage style of this card! And those colored stars are just perfect!

Happy Birthday Background

Hi all! Happy Friday!

Katie Gehring here today. We have been celebrating Neat and Tangled's first birthday all this month and I brought a birthday card using Everyday Circles to the party to share with you!

Using the "birthday" sentiment from Everyday Circles, I built a background by stamping the word repeatedly in 3 ink colors. Next, I die cut a circle in the bottom third of the card and mounted the stamped panel onto a piece of black cardstock with foam tape.

I stamped the solid "Happy" circle onto a scrap of cream cardstock and punched it out with a 1/2" circle punch.  I centered it inside the die cut circle and secured it with some adhesive.

I love how the black mat forms another border around the circle.  As a finishing touch, I added a few black sequins.

Since you can't have a party without presents, Danielle is including this sweet little 3 x 2" set called Dreams with all stamp orders placed this month.  With only a little over a week left in the month, be sure to place an order and to claim yours!

I hope you have a great weekend!

Dreams Do Come True - Masked Sentiment

As part of this month's birthday bash, I created a card combining the the new Dreams stamp (free with all orders place in August), with one of the birds from the My Heart Sings set and the Sunburst stamp.

To begin, I stamped the sentiment with Versafine ink. I then stamped the sentiment on masking paper, which I cut out and placed over the sentiment. I stamped the Sunburst over the masked sentiment using a pigment ink.

The bird was stamped with Versafine ink and heat embossed with clear powder. I colored the bird with a combination of Festive Berries and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks. The beak is colored with Hero Arts Butter Bar. The cloud background paper was created with a Hero Arts digital stamp.
