Design Team Addition! Introducing: Nina-Marie Trapani

Hello friends!

I am so excited to announce that our Neat and Tangled family is growing!  Please say hello to our newest design team member, Nina-Marie Trapani!

Her work is fresh, light, and inspiring! I can't wait for you to see how she creates with Neat and Tangled!

Here is a little about Nina:

Hi, my name is Nina-Marie! I am a creative designer that loves to bring my ideas to life in the form of card making, graphic design, web design, stamp illustration and much more. Describing my style is always difficult, as I do not follow a set pattern. I like to think of my style as more “eclectic”, as I simply design my projects in whatever style I am in the mood for... and it matches my bright and quirky personality! I love every color of the rainbow, although teals are my most favorite. When designing cards I love making ones with critters best.

I have a very special place in my heart for cats and have lived all my life by the ocean. I am currently residing along the Midcoast of Maine where the weather is always perfect in the summer and beautifully snowy in the winter!

To see more of my work and learn more about me, you can visit my blog, www.ninamariedesign.com

She has created FOUR projects for you today!  I just love them all!

This one using Little Bear is an envelope Nina decorated!

The snow on the trees from Winter Trees is the perfect touch!

I love the wreath of flowers she created using Send Pretty Mail!

And this card using Creepy Cute and Creepy Cute Shadows and Sentiments is too sweet!

You can head to Nina's blog HERE for more details on each card.

Be sure to say hello :)

Say hello to Sveta Fotinia!

Hi friends!

I'm am so excited to be here to announce our newest design team member, Sveta Fotinia!

Her style is simply stunning! I know you will love her! Be sure to leave a comment and say hello!

Here is a little about Sveta -

Hello! My name is Sveta Marchenko (blogger nickname - Fotinia), I'm 29, living with my hubby and abyssinian cat in port city of Odessa, Ukraine. I have a master degree in economics but work as a marine crew coordinator. I've discovered cardmaking about 2 years ago, since that time I can't live without stamps, inks, paper, my new friends and blog. My main hobbies before it were traveling and photography, so I also like to make layouts and mini albums to keep my memories in a beautiful way. Still cardmaking is the main passion for me: stamping, die-cutting, watercoloring and trying new techniques  is a pure magic! The main inspiration for me when I start my project are the supplies: when I take stamp set or a new die my brain starts create lots of combinations and pictures. After hard day of work, this is the best relaxing therapy for me. My dream is to have own crafty space, as now all my crafty things live in a few boxes while we are reconstructing our apartment.

Also I wanted to share with you all my happiness that I felt after I received the e-mail from our Danielle! OMG, I danced for a week at least, all my colleagues were intrigued what happened with me, why I'm jumping and making strange noises! I'm really thankful and glad to be with this team, all girls are soo amazing and inspiring here! Hope you will enjoy my new work for Neat & Tangled!

2015 Design Team: Introducing Taheerah Atchia and Yana Smakula

Hello friends! Here today to wrap up our 2015 design team introductions!

Last, but certainly not least, we have 2 more girls returning from 2014! Taheerah Atchia and Yana Smakula. Both are so incredibly talented, and I am so blessed to have them returning for 2015!

My name is Yana Smakula, I’m 20-smth years old and I’m from Ukraine. I’ve been married for a little bit over two years now, no kids but we do have two black cats and we can’t live without them! I love to travel across the world and meet new people, discover new cultures and just explore. So far together with my husband we’ve been to a few places in Europe (Poland, Czech Republic and UK), Africa (Egypt, Tunisia and Israel), Asia (China and Sri Lanka) and USA. Our next dream destination is Madagascar, I hear the nature there is simply breathtaking!
I used to live in USA (in Las Vegas, NV) when I was teen and I fell in love with this country (I was a foreign exchange high school student).
I enjoy scrapbooking and I mostly scrapbook about our travels (I often take long pauses from scrapbooking when I have no new travel photos to scrapbook). My other passion is cardmaking – I enjoy trying new products and techniques, experimenting and creating in different styles. I’m very much into stamping and die cutting although I never really though I was until I took a closer look at my cards and noticed almost all of them use stamps and dies!
I love Christmas and its my favorite time of the year. I’m fascinated by American Christmas and Christmas Traditions – I love all the decorations, nativity villages, lights, trees, wrapped gifts, shaped cookies, you name it! Every year I go absolutely crazy decorating our apartment for the holidays.

Hi everyone! I'm Taheerah and I am so giddily excited and happy to be a part of the Neat & Tangled DT family for another year! :-)
I'm a 30-plus-a-few Londoner now living in the North West of England with my beautiful cats. I work in IT by day and craft by night! I love all things geeky - having a background in science and working in my profession I guess that can't be avoided! I've always been creative but stamping and cardmaking have truly captured my heart and my imagination. I love experimenting with most styles and am definitely a huge lover of trends. I really thrive on pushing my skills and creative eye to the limit, so my work is frequently packed with techniques, outside-the-box uses of product, and clever details! Neat & Tangled's fabulous products fit perfectly with my love for fresh, trendy and edgy design - with just a hint of cute thrown in - I just love making their products shine!!

2015 Design Team: Introducing Mayuri, Anna Kossakovskaya, and Amy Tsuruta!

Hello friends! I've got 3 more incredibly talented design team members to (re)introduce you to ;)  These 3 ladies were with us for 2014, and we are so lucky to have them sharing their talents with us again!

Hi, It's ~amy~! I live in Washington State. I'm the proud mother of two lovely kids and am engaged to "thee most spectacular guy" who supports my crafting obsession. I work part-time for a start up biotech company in Seattle, have been blogging since 2007. I absolutely love being part of this crafting community!!

Hello, I’m Anna! And I'm very passionate about scrapbooking and cardmaking, it is really my great passion! This is my hobby since August 2011, when I made my first card. And since then, I still can not stop constantly making new discoveries in this wonderful world of creativity and improving my skills.
I'm really crazy about clean and simple and american styles. I love to create everithing! Layouts, albums, project life, cards and altered items. I love, that scrapbook allows us really remember all our moments and memories...

I studied the protection of the environment at the university, and not worked a day in my  specialty line. Then I began to work as a bank analyst. Various reports and tables - that's what I love almost as much as scrapbooking, haha! At the moment I'm on holiday childcare. Our daughter is two years, and yet we have a kitten Diana, and I call them my demons - because they are very active and often drive me crazy!
And will tell you a terrible secret - I'm a gamer and I love different games! Sometimes in the evenings I play with my husband, but unfortunately, I have very little time for this my hobby.

Hello, I'm Mayuri and I'm so excited to be continuing with the Neat & Tangled Design Team for 2015! I'm a Graphic Designer turned Project Manager working in a design agency by day, but becoming an avid crafter by night. My style of card-making ranges from clean and simple through to arty, textural and experimental. The crafting / blogging community has had a huge influence on my card-making - I hope I too can be equally inspiring and encourage you all to get stamping!

We will introduce the last two design team members on Friday! Tomorrow Danielle will be here with a card and a special announcement! :)

2015 Design Team: Introducing May Sukyong Park and Miriam Prantner

Hello friends!

Back today again with two more introductions for our 2015 design team!

Please give a warm welcome to May Sukyong Park and Miriam Prantner! May has played along at Little Tangles frequently, and Miriam has practically been a part of the team already :)

Hi there! My name is May Sukyong Park. I was born and brought up in South Korea, and moved to the US in 2009. I now live near the coast in beautiful Southern California with my wonderful husband and two adorable cats. I had not enjoyed any arts and crafts until I was first introduced to stamping by my friend in 2010. Then I started scrapbooking, and slowly moved in to making cards which became my biggest hobby where I have found my passion. I love clean and simple design based on creativity. I'm so thrilled and honored to be part of the Neat and Tangled design team. I look forward to working with all these talented ladies on the DT and seeing your creations too.

My name is Miriam Prantner.  My husband Andrew and I have two daughters Ellie (7) and Carina (4).  I've been crafting ever since I was little, scrapbooking for over 15 years, and making cards for the last several years.  I love to dabble and try new techniques/styles, but I tend to have a pretty CAS style even when I'm experimenting.  I've been designing stamps and dies for Neat & Tangled since late 2013, and am really excited to be taking on a larger role with N&T this year.

2015 Design Team: Introducing Emily Leiphart and Rachel Izakowicz

Hello friends!

Last week we said a sad goodbye to some of our design team. But no worries! We still have some familiar faces, and some lovely new ladies joining the Neat and Tangled family for 2015!

Today I'd love for you to meet Emily Leiphart and Rachel Izakowicz.  They are both incredibly talented! You may remember Emily for when she joined us for our October 2014 release. And Rachel was a regular player over on our challenge blog, Little Tangles.

Here is a little more about each of them:

I’ve been married for a decade and have a very energetic and crafty six-year-old son who has made numerous appearances in my videos!  I have a background in corporate research but I’m also an accomplished makeup artist so I still draw a lot of my inspiration from the fashion world.  My decision to stay at home after my son was born has taken me to so many places in blogland.  I’ve learned so much from the talented friends I’ve made and I’m honored to have been chosen to join the team at Neat & Tangled. I hope you enjoy the projects I make with these amazing products!
(She has a card for you too!)

My name is Rachel Izakowicz and I am so honored and excited to be part of the Neat & Tangled design team for 2015. Originally from Canton, Ohio, I am now living in Zurich, Switzerland, by way of London, England. Most of my time is spent being a mom to my very busy 3 year old boy, but I try to make the most out of nap times and get in my craft room. I have been scrapbooking since I was young, but I began stamping about 6 years ago after taking a class at a paper crafting store in London - I was instantly addicted! I was amazed by the endless possibilities of an ink pad & a stamp and that fascination is still with me now.  I love creating cards, Project Life layouts and the occasional scrapbook spread. I enjoy learning new techniques, using gorgeous papers and challenging myself to make the most out of my time & supplies. I can't wait to work with the amazing Neat & Tangled stamps this year and look forward to all the inspiration from this talented design team, Danielle, and all of the crafters out there sharing their Neat & Tangled projects!
