Halloween

Kaymee and Layne. Kaymee was a cowgirl....SURPRISE!! LOL

Braylee was the Little Mermaid. Her feet were "killing" her by the end of the night. (So were mine)

Shaydin was a "Lello nem-nem" :) She did NOT want her picture taken. I fought with her for like 1o minutes just to get this picture:)

Kaymee getting the guts out of her pumpkin

Braylee cleaning out her pumpkin

Shaydin didn't want to put her hand in there, so she used a spoon:)

Still not touching the pumpkin.

She finally decided to use her hands and we all cheered for her:)

The finished products:)

Vegas!!

Our room at Fitzgerald's:) I was a little nervous about being on the 21st floor. I don't do heights:)

Volcano at the Mirage. We got there just in time:)

This is the only decent picture of us and yes, it is in front of the penny slot machines:) Nathan sat down at one at 1am on Wednesday night (technically Thursday morning) and on the first spin won $80. Lucky Duck! I didn't win any:(

See what I mean. This picture is terrible!

Freemont Street! It was so fun! We loved watching the guys spray paint the pictures, so cool!

MGM:)

New York New York:) Again, terrible pictures. We need more practice at this picture taking thing:)
Yellow:) M&M Factory.

Mandalay Bay:) The PBR FanZone was here. It was fun got to see some riders.

Ryan Dirteater

Ross Coleman

Sean Willingham

Thomas and Mack Center (Where the PBR Finals were)

Getting ready to start:)

We had so much fun and can't wait to go back (hopefully next year) and hopefully we can stay longer. There were tons of things we didn't get to do/see so now we have an excuse to go back! We ditched the Bellagio and Treasure Island so that we could go to the PBR draft at Mandalay Bay. It was fun to just mingle with the riders. Caleb Sanderson was the Round winner that night and he came and stood by the table where Nathan and I were sitting. It was pretty cool! :)

Our Summer/Fall Highlights

We have been crazy busy! I can never find the time to blog, so I am compiling everything into one huge post:)

Kaymee and all her awards from Kindergarten:)

My Great-Grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary!
I just love everything about this picture! This is my great-grandparents at Lagoon and that little girl is my grandma (Wendy).

I forced them to take a picture with me:) They were pretty tired of posing for pictures by the end of the night.

Jake came home in July! We were all very happy to see him:)

The girls wanted to do ballet this year, so I drove them to Monticello twice a week. The drive got old really fast, but it was worth it for the girls, they loved ballet.

August was Fair month. We decided to camp at the fairgrounds and I am so glad we did. We had so much fun and Kaymee loved doing a lamb. She made some mega bucks off of her and we just got the check the other day so we are going to go open a savings account for her soon. She is so excited to have all that money.

August also meant a new school year. Here is Kaymee on her first day of first grade.

I also took my certification exam this month and PASSED!! I passed the first time and I am super proud of myself! I am now: Amanda Freestone, CPC-A (Certified Professional Coder-Apprentice)

Braylee had her fifth birthday this year! I can't believe she is that old. She missed the deadline by 5 days, so she won't go to Kindergarten until next year:( She was so upset that she couldn't go when she turned 5.

Nathan and I's SEVENTH anniversary!!!! We didn't do anything fancy, just went to lunch at Zax Pizza. Then we went to Wendy's for a chocolate frosty. Saying 7 years makes me feel so old! Time is flying by but I have loved every minute of it!

Living Planet Aquarium

Kaymee read A LOT last year and earned a trip to the Living Planet Aquarium with a bunch of other students from the school. It was a long trip but totally worth it! The kids had so much fun and were really good the whole way:)
